Came here since I had a good experience here about 4-5 years ago, and decided to check it out again with a friend since its still open and we were in the area. I came in on a Wednesday evening. I still had my punch card from last time, but they have since transitioned to the phone number rewards system, so the manager asked to take down my number to manually put in 4 points for the last time I was there. I ordered a Coconut Mousse, Lemon Mousse, and Pistachio Cafe Frappe. Once they rung me up, I saw a charge for $9, but I know for a fact that nothing I ordered was $9. The young guy ringing me up said the coconut mousse isn't $8.50, its $9 - but the menus hung overhead as well as the to-go menu pamphlets all said $8.50. I know its only 50 cents, but its the principle of the thing - you have to honor the price you advertise to the customer. The young boy and even the manager kept insisting on how that's for the old menu, I don't care - that is your mistake, not mine. Update your menu then - and he showed me how the laminated print out menu said $9, but I showed how the wooden boards hung up and the pamphlets both say otherwise. Took way longer than it should've. The boy didn't know how to manually override the price, so I had to ask him to get his manager to. These people don't understand proper business etiquette. Hope that experience taught them something. Aside from that pricing issue. Food was good, and ambiance was nice. Plenty of picturesque spots inside to snap photos at. Would I recommend them? Maybe. Will I come back? La Luna is a solid little coffee shop on Rainbow that's been around for years. I used to study here growing up, so it's nice to see how much the menu has expanded over time. They now offer a small high tea service, which is a cute addition, although it's a little odd that the price of the tea isn't included. You get the adorable setup and food, but you'll have to choose a teapot separately. The good news? Tea refills are free for as long as you're there! I was pleasantly surprised by how much food came with the tier, even though, honestly, all I really wanted was the mousse dog. I'll never pass up a high tea service with my hot-tea friends. There's just something healing about tea and even more healing when it's super cute. It's a great spot to catch up and have a nice conversation after a gym session at EOS. Side note: this EOS location is BUSY! Anyway, service was quick and efficient, and they have one of those ordering kiosks with nice pictures to help you decide what to get. Decided to stop by after seeing the reviews and social media raving about this place. There were a few people chilling by the seats working and on their laptops. We went up to order and was greeted by the workers. They had a nice display of the dessert selections. My friends and I ordered the machamisu and the la luna bun. It was a lot and definitely filled us up. The machamisu cake was actually pretty big. I felt like I could've shared that one with my friend. What I did like about it was that it wasn't too sweet and you can taste the Matcha if you are a matcha fan. I liked the la luna bun a little bit more. It was nice and cold and it was fun to eat too! My first trip here and it was amazing. Asked for a suggestion that was coffee specific and the barista recommended an Americano. So at this point youre like, of all the options, you went with espresso bean water and some oat milk? And I'm telling you yes, yes I did, and I don't regret it! Niece decided this morning that she wanted afternoon tea. While La Luna isn't my first choice for afternoon tea, it hit the spot for same day tea on our schedule. Also the $42 high tea menu can easily serve two adults (and a child) and if you are still hungry you can order off the menu, which isn't an option at most afternoon tea services. The cafe isn't very large. But the eclectic mix of tables and chairs makes it feel cozy. The music, jazz standards, started off quiet enough that we could talk. We've been to La Luna a few times now, and we always stop by whenever we're in Vegas. This time we came after lunch. The staff are always nice, and the vibe is really relaxing, perfect for studying, casual dates, or just unwinding. I love the moon on the wall, it's such a cute touch. The only downside this visit was that the owner was talking to two guys pretty loudly while selling something, which kind of ruined the chill mood. We all got our favorite drinks, Coffee, Thai Tea, and Super Fruit Tea. From all the pretty desserts, we tried the Matcha Sea Salt Molten Cake this time. It looked amazing, but the cake was pretty dense, not as fluffy as we hoped, and the sea salt overpowered the sweetness a bit. Overall, we still love coming here. I've been coming here on a consistent basis for almost 3 years now for an iced jasmine tea unsweetened and it is always excellent. Coming from someone who has tried every single tea/coffee/boba shop in the area, I really think that La Luna has one of the highest quality teas in the area for an iced tea fix. You'd be surprised how weak, cheap, and flavorless a lot of the other spots are when you get the tea by itself without toppings and sugar. I've also gotten to chat with the owners/managers and it's clear that they take tea quality seriously. The desserts are top-notch as well. We visited their other spot previously and loved the mousse desserts, so we were excited to come back. This time around, we had the opportunity to meet up as a writing group for a party of 8. There are a few single and double couches, high barstools, and plenty of outside seating; perfect for a big group. The staff was very accommodating and kind. They went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly and even delivered our drinks and desserts right to our table. My wife and I had the taro slushee with pudding, while our kids enjoyed Thai boba tea and an Oreo slushee. For desserts we ordered the lemon mousse, chocolate Magnum, and chocolate ganache. Overall, it was a fantastic evening spent with family and friends. We will definitely be coming back. For those who have never been here, the secret is out! For a small, humble, unassuming exterior, I was impressed. Very good customer service. Very good cappuccino. The coffee bean brand used is one I've never heard of before (Caffe Chilly) but it helped create a very tasty cappuccino. The croissant sandwich and salad was very good. The lemon mousse dessert was very good. Fun combination of flavors and textures. The coconut mousse dessert was even better than I expected. The flavor pops. I enjoyed everything. Ok since my last review, I've ended up returning here many times to work, read, study and sip lots of tea. I realize I haven't updated my review and seek to share that this place has been much better in terms of service. They have a screen available for quick orders as well. It's always nice and quiet with soft jazz playing, and the space is very tranquil. Their charcoal oolong is still one of my favorites, but I also get a hot pot of tea from time to time. Their panini are pretty tasty, and I've ordered their afternoon tea setup which had a solid assortment of sandwiches and treats and was a pretty good deal. Our family loves La Luna and this was our first time visiting the Rainbow location. We usually frequent their Eastern Ave. location. We stepped in to their Rainbow location and was pleased to see the same happy familiarities. The menu and it's offerings are the same and our go-to favorite treats tasted just as delicious. Highly recommend their cheese Danish, coco-lime tiramisu, turkey pesto panini, and a pot of their Osmanthus Snow Pear tea with lemon and honey. A couple differences at the Rainbow location is that there's outside tables, which we appreciate because we love to enjoy cafe lunches with our small senior dog. The other difference was that the Rainbow location looks and felt much smaller than their Eastern Ave. location. Seating was a bit cramped. Service at this location wasn't quite as friendly either. In all, our family loves La Luna and our first choice will be visiting their Eastern Ave. location, and then the Rainbow location with our small dog. So when my boyfriend introduced me to La Luna (and it's in my neighborhood), I was in love. The vibe of the place is very much like a cafe where they have plenty of tables (and they're always busy), free water station, a display case filled with pastries and desserts, and you can see all the drink machines. While their drinks are good, I come here for the desserts. I've tried most of them, but my favorite is the box cake. It's a mini cake (about 4 inches in diameter) that's oh-so-light, not too sweet, and they use whipped cream as the frosting. They have 4 variations, but the one I always get is the strawberry. Conquered Door Dash again and this time decided to order from the Social Media hype of La Luna Tea and Dessert Bar. I'm so happy I did try their desserts, they were for the most part were delicious with the exception of 1 which just had a unique taste that I wasn't so sure of, but could not take away from the fact that just because I didn't like the taste someone else wouldn't mind it. So, I ordered the infamous Puppy Mousse, a Lemon Mousse, a Box Cake and a slice of Chocolate Ganache Cake. The puppy mousse was so delicious and not very sweet and adorable and pretty life like in mini form, it kind of tasted like those chocolate bar ice creams, especially since the puppy was a bit frozen to keep its shape. The lemon mousse is an acquired taste, the dessert looked just like a lemon and was so realistic, so cute, the lemon is I believe a white chocolate with coloring, then there is cream inside and inside the middle of the cream is what I believed to be a curd, I did not like the white chocolate part and the cream was okay, but had they used more of the lemon curd, I think it would have been much more delicious, the curd portion was very small afterall, it's supposed to be a lemon mousse. The chocolate ganache cake was delicious, layers of chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse and ganache which tasted delightful. The box cake with the fresh strawberries and blueberries was so delicious, it keeps you coming back for more. The great thing with the desserts that I tried, they were not over powering in the sweetness that I couldn't have more than 1 bite. I'll need to go back and pick from their extensive menu and try their other tasty treats. Put this place on your list! I wish Yelp had 1/2 stars, because La Luna deserves 4 1/2 stars. read more

The ambiance of the Cafe, although busy, was surprisingly not too loud. I can hear my thoughts clearly. Throughout the day, it becomes quieter and eventually picks up again. When it does, it doesn't get overly noisy and you can continue having conversations without interruption. The service of the employees was nice. They were patient with ordering and accommodating with saving your order, if you needed to get change. There's a note on the tables that suggest they will pick up the plates and utensils, but it's unclear if this is only when you leave. I sat there for a couple of hours. When I was going to put them away, I noticed the note and realized no one's come after the fact. I ordered an avocado toast with a side of salad. The crust was a bit tough, but the toppings had a balanced taste. The dressing for the salad was nice. I also ordered a matchamisu, in which was not overly sweet. Very light and creamy. This is a bit far from the strip but worth the drive! Matchamitsu is easily one of the best I've had anywhere! Very moist and not-too-sweet. The ccoconut mouse was light and had suble tart nodes from the pashionfruit jam. Coconut Lime Tiramisu is one of the best cake I've ever had and is so refreshing, light, with perfect creaminess! I wasn't a fan of their milk teas or the Sweet Bath Time (although it looks pretty), but the other desserts make up for it many times over :D read more

Been here twice and although the desserts are gorgeous and really make you think you are eating something else, what you are actually eating are desserts which are very mild, under sweetened, and sometimes almost flavorless. I actually don't mind the pricing of the desserts since they are so beautiful but the flavor just isn't there. The inside is nicely decorated and a bit whimsical with a giant mural of a moon and comfy, albeit really low to the ground chairs. It's not a small dessert shop but there are so many tables and chairs, so close to each other, that it always feels very crowded, even if only a few people are in, let alone when it is actually crowded.
