I hate to give this place one star but it's purely due to bad management. The french toast was really well made with fresh brioche bread. But I had to pay 1.- chf for a small bit of butter. Butter should come with the french toast! And in the land of dairy, butter costs very little. We ordered a good sized breakfast: french toast, hot chocolate, cappucino, bacon (also very good) and each two eggs. When you've ordered other food/drinks, tap water should not cost anything. We were charged 2.90 chf for one glass of tap water (no ice or lemon)! If you want a nice brunch that has three large containers of filtered tap water that you can choose between citrus, ginger/lemon, or cucumber completely free of charge then there is a way better option in Olten (i won't mention the name otherwise people will think this is an advertisement ;-) If you need to make more money to pay your employees, add the cost to other menu items. Water out of the tap should remain a human right and never used to make a profit. We talked directly to the owner about this "difference of opinion" and he wouldn't budge. That price for tap water will remain. read more
