It was rainy so I got my latte to go. The barista makes your drink once you order and then you pay as they hand you your drink. So the line does move a little slow. Latte (60 mxn) was super smooth. It was rich and even though I normally like my lattes with some type of sweetener, I could easily drink this one as is.

We were able to grab a table for two in their outdoor seating area without a wait on a Monday morning. Their guava roll is amazing as always, but I would not recommend the lemon roll (it wasn't what we were expecting and the rind itself was too bitter for our liking and did not belong in the pastry). All other dishes were very yummy! I would come back to try their lunch menu!

The pastries and service were delicious. While they do not have indoor seating, it was very pleasant to sit outside on the sidewalk and people-watch. We tried three different pastries: a plantain pudding pastry, a fruity meringue pastry, and a very unique peanut butter and chapulines cruffin. All were excellent. My only piece of constructive feedback is regarding the payment process. We had to pay for the pastries separately from the coffee, which made the experience less smooth. It would be much more convenient if everything could be paid for on a single check. Overall, it was a wonderful spot!

3 stars It is by far in a beautiful location; the restaurant…read moreis spacious with plenty of greenery. The atmosphere and setting really are lovely, which makes it a nice spot to sit and enjoy. That said, the stars are based on the food, and unfortunately this was the most expensive meal we had in Mexico City and it wasn't even close to the best. The food overall was decent, but nothing that stood out as worth the price. The pan dulce was all cold and firm no matter which variations we tried. We had a party of 9 and many items were forgotten about, which made service feel a bit chaotic. For my meal I ordered a jamón y queso empanada and a tamale con rajas y queso. About 15 minutes later they came back and said they were out of the jamón y queso empanadas and only had tinga left. I said that was fine, but when it arrived it was cold, almost frozen. I asked them to heat it up, which they did. The tamale, on the other hand, was good--hot with great flavor. The coffee and juice were also solid. More than likely, although the restaurant and atmosphere were beautiful, I'd go elsewhere for better food at a better price.
