Really cool space, definitely would be great for an afternoon tea. They have an outdoor patio, not that it was being used despite the beautiful day. Pastries and food selection is great. The staff is friendly... but slow and easily distracted. The cashier was taking a phone order while several of us were waiting, pretty unacceptable when another staff member should be able to take a call. We ordered a coffee and a mimosa. Well, they had to go back and check to see if they had juice... they did not. I asked for just the bubbly instead, she had to go back and check again. How do they not know or keep things on their menu in stock? Oh well, they had the bubbly so it was okay. For food we ordered a pastry and a croissant sandwich. The biscotti and pastry were delicious. For some reason, they decided to panini press the croissant sandwich. What the heck, who would do that? Why didn't they ask? Tasty sandwich, but completely ruined due to crushing the croissant. We were expecting it to come straight out of the case and at most maybe microwaved to warm it, not just destroyed in a panini press. Cool vibes, nice atmosphere, food is good, tea menu looks amazing. But, the staff don't seem to have a clue to what they are doing.

They seem extremely popular and busy even mid-afternoon; jammed-packed the whole time we were there and with a waiting line-up for a table. Gentleman who seemed to be the owner or manager was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond to find us a table quickly (even moving chairs around) after Cousin and I explained that Boyfriend (who was outside parking the car) would never wait for the 30 min announced at first. All the staff there seemed very nice, fast, constantly cleaning, arranging seating, serving, etc. We only had coffees (which were fine but nothing mind blowing) so I cannot judge on the menu. The outside does not justify the inner interior of this cafe. There is so many different corners to choose from, if only dine- in is allowed. With the closure during COVID, only takeout is allowed for now. But I did just walk around while my coffee is being prepared and pastries packed. There are several corners from a fireplace, to the communal table, along with the library of books corner and window with good lighting and surrounded by plant that one can choose if they had the luxury of dining in. Coffee- I ordered Americano and Flat White (used Oat milk) and found the coffee was about weak. Pastries - They were both amazingly delicious. The Chocolate pastry and a sour cherry yoghurt pastry caught my eye and those were both good choices. There were also good food and pastries offering. This is definitely a cafe that is be back if I am in Ottawa again.

Probably one of the best options in Ottawa for bbl tea. Ambiance is clean and cute. Looks like the owners are currently the baristas, so they put a lot of effort into explaining their drinks and making sure it's to your satisfaction.

It's nice to see the plants all around you with lovely flowers . I ordered dalgona iced coffee, it came in a to go cup I asked why she said I didn't mention I wanted it in a glass once apparently I need to tell them so. Their turkey and cheese sandwich was good and their cookies are quite chocolaty! We ended up buying plants as we were leaving hehehe.
