My friend and I both ordered the same thing, which was the schnitzel sandwich. I had mine with truffle fries and she had it with sweet potato fries. The schnitzel sandwich itself was great. The schnitzel was incredibly well seasoned and just the right amount of crispy. The portion was also quite massive. I didn't really enjoy the bread, particularly with the sesame seeds (it was a lot!) and the pickles felt unnecessary as well. My truffle fries were amazing. I had a few of my friend's sweet potato fries and they were also quite good. They have a really extensive menu, so I actually would want to come back again just to try other things. I didn't get to try the drink menu but I'd also want to try some as well, particularly the smoothies and the lattes. Overall, I'd recommend this brunch place! Make sure you do a reservation if you can if you're coming during peak hours.

Food order was taken promptly and delivered promptly as well. Food itself was good but I do think their shakshuka is their star. I had that dish at another location the first time I tried cafe Landwer and it was to die for. I wanted to try a dinner menu item and got the chicken parmigiana with pasta instead. It was okay but definitely did not compete with the shakshuka I ate previously. Other meals included schnitzel and various pastas. All good but again nothing to write home about.
