The menu is compact : some tapas and around 5 main courses. We chose both the salmon filet with a potato gratin on the side. It was a very small filet and really a bit dry. Didn't even taste really fresh, I suspect it was from the freezer. There were some nice warm vegetables though and the gratin was fine, but nothing more than that. Friendly and correct service. I must say, lookong around, the tapas looked and smelled delicious, maybe I made the wrong choice....

However the restaurant is small, it seems the business tries to keep it busy & excessive tables. Believe that makes it hard for the waiters to properly serve the customers. We were able to get our drink order in easily, however had to ask about our starters, Olives & calamari. Soon after our main entrees soon followed. Food portions are large, main entrees could easily feed 2 people. Olives were good, usually pretty hard to fail olives. Calamari was amazing, perfectly seasoned so no sauce is provided or required. Steak was good & did not require any additional seasoning. Now the fries were less than desirable. Meat balls mediocre. Overall good food, provided your waiter doesn't look track of you!

While not all the dishes we ordered were a hit in my eyes, as some had a little too much sauce, I do think the wide range of dishes definitely has something for everyone. Service was decent. Waiters were attentive and our food and drinks (mocktails included) got to our table fast. I would definitely come back next time I am in the area.

However, the best part about this bar is the staff. All of them were nice, smiling, and welcoming. We struck up conversation with all of them. I highly recommend this place if you are tired of the commercial or run of the mill tourist trap. It's authentic, easy going, and great.
