I ordered the enchiladas. They were a little sweeter than I expected, but still enjoyable overall. My husband had the Barn BLT, and he absolutely loved it. We also ordered drinks--I had the Pom-Amore cocktail, which was refreshing and delicious, and my husband had a cider. They have a huge drink menu with plenty of options, plus daily specials, which gives you a great reason to come back and try something new. Overall, it was a very enjoyable brunch experience with good food, great drinks, and welcoming service. We'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu and take advantage of their specials!

I feel very mixed about writing this review!…read more First the ambiance- it's a rustic barn feel. It was fine nothing to complain about and the bathroom was clean. Next the service- it was extremely slow. Like super slow but I will say the staff was very nice and it seemed like our waitress was waiting on many tables by herself so I wasn't mad about how slow it was. But it should be noted. Now the Drinks. I truly don't know how I feel! My friend and I both ordered drinks. She ordered the Pom-Amore which is supposed to have fresh pomegranates in it and an edible flower as a garnish per the description. It had neither! She did have cranberries in it, maybe they ran out? I personally don't like that, they should have informed her they didn't have the right garnishes what if she was allergic? I had the cranberry limoncello which was supposed to have cranberries in it and it had none, hilarious I know! On top of that my glass was dirty had something caked on the inside the glass (like my straw wouldn't move it off) so they had to remake it. But it did taste very good. Lastly the food- My friend ordered the burger she said it was very greasy, I didn't try it so I'm not sure. She had the hand cut fries with it and I did try them and they were delicious! The portion of the burger and fries was huge! I got the avocado egg rolls and the Sweet Thai Wings. I wanted to hate the egg rolls because when they came out it's literally just like avocado inside, which is my own fault I assumed it was going to be more like a southwestern egg roll. However, they were delicious! It came with this spicy sauce that was so good. The only down side is that they left the avocado pit inside one of my egg rolls- I took a picture- which wasn't pleasant to bite down on. I also ordered the wings. They were good. The sweet Thai chili did not taste like Thai chili rather more like a buffalo wing so much so that I wondered if they brought out the wrong wings. I will say I got a bit of an ick because I found feathers on the wings. These are fresh butchered wings so it's understandable but also not my favorite thing to have happened. To note: I think it would have been nice because of the dirty glass for them to have offered a free dessert or something (especially since both our drinks were made wrong but to be honest we didn't tell them that they were) but that's just my personally thought for excellent customer service. Again, the waitress was extremely nice so of course I still tipped 20%!

The space is lovely and bright with tables where you can spend some time and indulge in the delicacies. The display case is filled with beautiful items, it was hard to choose. We opt'd for an orange cranberry scone to enjoy there, along with a passion fruit iced tea. The scone was lovely, not too sweet with a great crumb. The tea was extremely sweet, I would have enjoyed it more had it been less sweet. We took home some other items. The pistachio croissant was not only beautiful, but excellent. The chocolate dulce de leche loaf was also so pretty and decadent and delicious. Mister Croissant is a place you'd expect to find in NYC, but the people of Middletown are lucky to have it.

The pineapple aqua Fresca was sweet but not overpowering, wish they had strawberry one. For the tacos they bigger than street tacos by a mile and very generous with meat filling. The consommé dip was incredible and glad they left chucks of beef in it like a little soup. The queso birria taco was not greasy or messy, right amount of cheese and beef. Best place for tacos in Middletown I had.
