The vibe when you walk in is super cool, and the employees are always friendly. They give great recommendations, and sometimes they'll even make their own favorite drink that's not on the menu. It's definitely a busy spot, there are always people there, even on weekdays with WFH people working at the tables. Weekends (and even Sundays) get pretty packed, but it makes sense. Their coffee is always solid and the food is good for a coffee shop. My go-to drinks are the Smilin' Hawaiian or the caramel blondie. For food, I love their breakfast BAE (bacon, avocado, egg) sandwich on the jalapeño cheddar bagel, so good! Just make sure they've got ripe avocados because that makes all the difference

The lavender latte was perfect--just the right amount of syrup to make it floral and slightly sweet without tasting overly sugary or artificial. I also loved watching them hand-mix the matcha and seeing the little specks of real vanilla. You can tell they care about what they're making. The avocado toast was simple but so well done. Perfectly toasted bread with fresh, quality ingredients--sometimes simple really is best. The baristas were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. The café itself is really nice inside, and I'm especially happy they're open on Sundays! Definitely a place I'll be coming back to.

The…read morerestaurant is now called Holy Cross Mountain Point Cafe, and while they used to run an extensive menu, they've shifted to daily specials on the food line. I did not see any menus. I visited Wednesday, when the special was chicken parm with penne pasta and green beans, and I added a bowl of minestrone soup on the side. Everything was excellent. The chicken had a perfect crust and was moist and well seasoned throughout. The penne was cooked al dente, and the marinara sauce was flavorful. The minestrone came out hot and fresh, seasoned just right. Overall, a well prepared, satisfying meal. Prices have gone up noticeably since my last visit, but they're still reasonable for the portion and quality. I left feeling like I got real value for my money. 4 years ago I got chicken tiki masala and triple berry bread pudding ala mode for around $10 and yesterday's meal was around $20. The chef and line cook were both friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed a beautiful lunch outside on a warm, sunny day with clear blue skies. Unfortunately I left my phone in the car, so no photos this time. Worth noting, they still serve their burger and fries, which I was told years ago were a customer favorite.
