When you walk in the delicious smell hits you and immediately makes your mouth water! On my first visit I enjoyed the veggie fritters, they were super tasty & very filling. It was hard to not opt for them again on my next visit. Instead I tried the polenta chips & mushroom ragout, it looked interesting but tasted fabulous with a nice zingy tomato relish. On my most recent dining experience I had the Korean fried chicken burger with a side of polenta chips & this did not disappoint either. Moist chicken, a slightly aromatic slaw & a lovely brioche bun. The polenta chips came with a hint of tomato relish. I was a little disappointed that as an extra side dish I only received 3 polenta chips but I needn't have feared as coupled with the burger my tummy was left sufficiently full. I've observed many dishes leaving the kitchen & they all look delicious. I'll be sure to try their poached chicken salad on my next visit, which will no doubt be soon. North & Eight have a variety of cakes, muffins & pastries as well as yummy ButterBings. So if you have any space left after your main course you can thrown in an extra treat to satisfy your sweet tooth.
