Terrible spot for lunch. Extremely slow service to get seated, served and to pay. Additionally, the food was awful and overpriced for the portions. Unfriendly staff and untidy location with flies around tables. Take your money elsewhere - you will be happy.

Strawberry matcha was nice, but there weren't any straws so we couldn't get the syrup at the bottom. Service was nice. Cute cafe.

Great location near the Opera house. Lisa of seating and easy to get to. Ordered a coffee and their signature cookie which is a must try! Quick service and little to no wait time.

My friend and I visited Café Kitsuné during our trip in Paris because we thought it would be great to stop by a cute and trendy cafe! Pros: the cafe itself is aesthetically pleasing and the service is quick despite the long lines. They also sell different Japanese/French pastries that look delicious. Cons: I felt like this cafe is always packed with tourist and the coffee was alright. If I'm going to be honest, the taste of the coffee didn't justify the price. Customer service wasn't anything special. Just your average trendy coffee shop! In my opinion, Paris is full of great coffee places. I've had the best iced coffees from smaller cafes and for half the price. If you want to visit Café Kitsuné during your trip to Paris I would recommend trying it once to get it out of your system! Otherwise I would opt for something more local in the area!

I wish I could go here everyday. But I live in the US. The desk agent at my hotel recommended this place! This coffee cafe was beyond my expectations. I've never had espresso like this before. I ordered a miso latte. It was so smooth, rich, and well balanced. The young lady was so nice and pleasant. She explained everything to me. Love the design of this cafe.

Good coffee, on the pricier side, nice ambiance. Located on the interior garden side at Palais Royal. Seating is open, order inside at counter. They do accept Amex.

Loved this cute coffee shop! One of the few places in Paris that has nondairy options for their coffee which is nice if you are lactose intolerant or sensitive. The iced latte with oatmilk was delicious. Very pretty interior as well.

Cafe Kitsune was such a cute little place to rest and grab a drink before heading over to Tuileres Garden and the Louvre. The aesthetic is on point and the huge mirrored wall is perfect to Instagram your Parisian OOTD. Beyond the aesthetic, I wasn't too impressed but maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I got the Yuzu & Miel Glace (Iced Yuzu & Honey). It was very refreshing but for 5 euros it was a bit underwhelming and very similar to Korean yuja-cha that I could make for myself at home. Cute but everything just seemed a bit overpriced.

Service here is understandably slow, as there was only one man taking people's orders/prepping customers' drinks/snacks. We ended up getting the vanilla ice cream here and had to wait around 15 minutes for a scoop of ice cream. Although delicious, something tasted off about the ice cream. I'm not exactly sure why it tasted a bit strange, but it wasn't the most pleasant vanilla ice cream. It did the job of filling me up in the meanwhile, although I wouldn't recommend coming here.

Tourist trap. Pricey and not that good. To top it off, it's so busy and it takes forever to get your food/drinks.

Angelina, Paris, France -- April 12…read more Our family of four with kids ages 9 and 10 stopped here for lunch after visiting the Louvre, drawn in by its reputation for having the best hot chocolate in the world. We were looking for a place to relax and refuel, and the experience felt a bit mixed overall. Arrival and First Impressions The space is elegant with classic Parisian charm. The line moved quickly, and we were seated with a great view of the dining room. It felt refined but still comfortable. The Highlights The famous hot chocolate lived up to expectations, thick, rich, and almost more like a dessert than a drink. We also had French onion soup and an éclair, both of which were very good. The pastries were clearly well made and thoughtfully prepared. The kids had chicken tenders, which they enjoyed, even though the tomato sauce was a bit different from what they expected. The Challenges The biggest drawback was the price. The meal felt expensive for what we ordered, coming in at €154 for a fairly simple lunch. Service felt slightly rushed as they moved tables along quickly. Final Thoughts We would likely return if we were nearby and specifically craving the hot chocolate again. It is a classic Paris stop and worth trying once, but the value may not justify going out of your way unless that signature experience is high on your list.

So Angelina's fine. For me, it's a bit hyped up. My sister, loved it. She even bought their…read moreprepackaged bottle of hot chocolate to take home. This hot chocolate is decadent. It really tastes like melted chocolate with a bit of milk mixed in to make it more drinkable. We went at a bit of an off time, late morning and it wasn't overly busy. We saw our server once and I couldn't recall who he was when it came time to get the bill. I asked a hostess walking by for our check and she told me to ask our server while walking away. We were able to flag another server down eventually but the whole process just took too long. The tables for four have chairs that don't quite tuck in causing for a bit awkward seating. If you like really thick hot chocolate, give it a try but otherwise ok to miss this one. Plenty of good hot chocolate throughout the city.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ THEEEEEE gold standard for macarons in Paris ... or anywhere for that matter. + Macarons here are a little crisp, a little pillowy softness and a whollllllle bunch of flavor. - It cost a pretty penny (about 3 Euros for 1 piece), but you won't regret it for a second when you bite into one of these addictively delicious treats. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + All class, top notch white glove service - literally - they handle the macarons with much care like it were gold! THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + Located in the heart of the Champs-Élysées on Rue Lincoln, so, YES, it is busy like rush hour outside ... and inside. + There are 2 sides to this massive flagship location - you can either make a purchase of macarons at their store OR dine/sit down in their tea house. Both have lines to wait on, but making a purchase only takes about 10 minutes on a weekend, while dining in looks like an unimaginable wait! + The store to make a macaron purchase at has 3 tables to sit around to enjoy your purchase of delicious macarons. You MUST catch someone about to leave (like we did) in order to snag a table. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- = Expect waits on a weekend afternoon, especially to sit down in the tea room. If you just make a store purchase, it's only about a 10 minute wait ... and you'll be thanking your legs for that. = It's a tourist destination in itself, so expect LOTS of people taking photos of this location. CONCLUSION ----------------------- = Yes, I'm from the tri-state area and they've had a Laduree in NYC since 2011, but there's alwayyyyys something special about going to one of the originals and this spot is no different.

I came here on my first visit to France with my sister and brother-in-law. I had just finished my time at the Eiffel tower and walked over to this restaurant for a drink and a snack. I was seated immediately, waiting for the rest of my party. The staff were incredibly patient, allowing me to stay for the fifteen-ish minutes it took for my family to arrive. We, of course, ordered the hot chocolate topped with cream. It was incredibly rich, which was the draw. It was required that we each ordered our own teapot, which provided about two and a half cups of hot chocolate. This was a bit excessive, as the drink was heavy and I could only stomach a cup. I did wish the restaurant allowed us to split the pot amongst our table. Nonetheless, I enjoy dining at Carette and returned on my second Paris trip with my husband. Anyone visiting for the first time should try their thick hot chocolate at least once.
