exploring the city of Paris once again and this time i am travelling alone. I was determined to explore and experience as much as I could for a week. I came across Cafe George V during my Morning walk by Champ Elysees and decided to dine in for brunch. The servers were all so welcoming with bright smiles in the morning. I was seated quite immediately and was offered a menu. My server explained the menu and I elected to order the breakfast package of hot coco with freshly squeezed orange juice with freshly baked croissants and toast with butter and jam on the side and ham and cheese omelet with fresh salad on the side. my orders were serve on a timely manner and it was all so good and perfect. The price wasn't so bad either and it was affordable. I enjoyed my time and I won't hesitate to dine here again for next time. Highly recommend!

Came into Café George when doing some shopping in the area cause you know how shopping makes one hungry. I did look pretty packed at first but we were able to get a table no problem. Once seated we looked over the menu. I noticed at first that all drinks were pretty pricey which makes sense for the area it is in. Food prices were not as bad but still higher then most. I will say they really have a little bit of everything on the menu. For sure was not expecting to see pizza but it was a touristy area so I get it. I went with the Ham and Cheese Crepe since we had been talking about getting one but hadn't seen it. Our food same out shortly and wow they really load the crepe up with cheese and it came out real hot too which I like and of course they had some of their amazing mustard on the table which was nice and spicy. I will say the crepe itself was thicker then I expected it to be and didn't have that much flavor to it either and not much ham but again the melty large about of cheese here really saved it for me. Ashley got the French Onion Soup which I got to try and it was actually the best I had on this trip. For sure the rich beef broth you look for in a good French Onion Soup.

When I'm in Paris, I make it a point to stop at Café George five at least once. The wait staff are super friendly and they have an English menu for us Non-French speaking visitors. I love sitting outside and watching the people go up and down while eating. They make the best French onion soup which of course here in France is only called onion soup. If you need a snack or a whole meal, this is a great place to go.

On 01/09/2026 at approximately 4:20 PM, I went to the café-restaurant LE GEORGE V, located at 120 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris (table 46). We consumed only: * 1 café latte * 1 mint tea * 1 pastry ("pastry of the day") The server first presented a bill (receipt no. 107) for a total amount of €50.50, which included several items that we neither ordered nor consumed (e.g. cappuccino, hot chocolate, chamomile tea), as well as a vague line item labeled "miscellaneous brasserie." After disputing this bill, a second receipt (receipt no. 108) for €32.50 was presented to us, but without any itemization, showing only "1 consumption," making it impossible to verify what products were actually charged. I asked to speak with a manager; this was initially refused. The behavior of the staff then became aggressive and intimidating, and we were forced to leave the premises. The incident deeply upset my partner. I am reporting these facts for overcharging, billing for items not consumed, failure to provide a compliant detailed invoice, and intimidating behavior.

A special place with great energy and kind staff. Le George V provides a smart amount of care from each of their staff members and with a smile. Many might overlook this spot because it's directly on Champs Èlysèes but you must give this restaurant and try. The portions are large and the Croque Monsieur extremely wonderful. They also have a seasonal cocktail that is wonderful so ask for this and try it blindly as they are always very very good. The energy of this place is true Parisian cafe culture and the quintessential ambiance for your trip to Paris. I prefer this for a final meal before heading to the airports or boarding the metro and I suggest you make it part of your Paris story while visiting next.

Not a good dining experience. We went here over the weekend in July during the afternoon. The food was mid, but what ruined our experience were two things. First, the waiter asked whether we wanted to tip 10% or 20%, which we found odd considering tipping is more optional in France and normally the customer gets to choose how much they'd like to tip based on the service, not the other way around. We verbally authorized a 10% tip, but when we later looked at the final receipt it showed a 20% tip. By the time we noticed, it was too late as we had left already - a fault on our part. But the waiter was holding the card machine the entire time and didn't show us the screen - another red flag. Second, they usually serve small dishes of complimentary olives before ordering food. Both tables next to us received this dish, but our table did not. Don't know if race played a factor (we aren't Caucasian) or if our waiter forgot. All three tables including ours were seated and served by the same waiter around the same time, BTW.

Steak tartar

Great French food with a beautiful view of the Arc De Triomphe. Wonderful service that was very friendly, attentive, and happy to give suggestions and answer questions. Very reasonably priced and did not leave hungry. I tried the steak tartar and loved it! Plus the best crème brulee I've ever had! I only review restaurants I find outstanding, and this was one of them

Great location on the Main Street of Champs Elyses, right across from Louise Vuitton. After being treated badly from Washington Poste, this was great service. We got a great table outside of the view of the street and stores. Drinks are mild but great food options. Vegan and vegetarian as well.

Refreshing fresh orange juice, yummy crepe and hot americano for an afternoon snack. Service is prompt and friendly.

The Negroni is fantastic! The staff is very friendly and the food is pretty good. We usually stop here on our way on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. There is great people watching so sit close the the street!

There are a few locations of Terres de Café in Paris of differing sizes and this one in Batignolles has the perfect amount of seating and cozy atmosphere to read a book or meet with friends. On weekdays it's a nice and comfortable place to work on your laptop, provided you have your own hotspot (no WiFi here), and on weekends when computers are not allowed the ambiance is much more familial and lively. The coffee is high-quality and the employees are very knowledgeable about the beans and flavor profiles. I've enjoyed all the drinks I've had here, with my usual being a simple latte. They also sell coffee beans and Nespresso pods to go. The pastry selection is typically limited to banana bread, brownies, and cookies as they are much more focused on the coffee, but I found them to be really good anyway. The staff are friendly and make an effort to get to know their regular customers, and the café is very friendly to families and children especially on weekends. The café is conveniently located in Batignolles near plenty of other shops as well as the Mairie.
