Didn't find anything traditionally Puerto Rican. After we overpaid for our slow service and bad cold food that took forever to get, I went to the panadería next door to get egg sandwiches for the rest of the people at home and paid 1/3 of what I paid for a much better breakfast. I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place. It has been a challenge to find vegan food in Rincon, especially breakfast. The tofu scramble was delicious!!! They house make their own bread, I got mine with their Rosemary focaccia. Ordered a side of tostones and a cappuccino. Everything was very good. The waitress was helpful and very kind. Sorry. Maybe the 4 stars is Puerto Rico standard but for us it's more like 1-2 star. We had various appetizers. Tofu taco, grilled tuna, juice, plantains, vegetables ....they all fairly salty with little flavor. I honestly cook a lot better than this. Probably they can't get fresh ingredients on the island. Only had a beer (boqueron ipa), but the space is really nice, and it's obviously a good spot to have a beer and watch sports and have some apps. The bartender seemed like a super chill guy. I also really like that they have wifi. Half of the people in the establishment had their laptops out. I'll be coming back here for that reason alone as I need to do some work this week and my Airbnb does not have reliable wifi! read more

Very disappointed when we went back for a second visit. The first time we visited this restaurant was during the Christmas holidays 2021-22 and had a great experience and amazing food. Fast forward 7 months and I can't say the same. Service was good. But food... let's just say I understand that things are more expensive nowadays, but there is much to be said about a restaurant that on the menu "sells" you "avocado toast with cherry tomatoes and eggs cooked your way" and all you get is two pieces of bread, eggs cooked your way, with a super thin almost invisible slice of avocado under each bread and one cherry tomato sliced in half over each bread, sorry but no, that is wrong. Both, the avocado and the cherry tomatoes were supposed to be the main ingredients of the plate, however they were not even a decent garnish. Then let's talk about pancakes... we ordered pancakes and when we got the order it looked more like the side of mini pancakes you will get for kids. Surprisingly small for the price. So unfortunately I will have a hard time going there again because when you pay for something you want quality. I could have had a much better breakfast at the bakery next door for 1/4 of the price. Probably one of the worst cafes I have been to. The food is overpriced with very small portions. We ordered avocado toast and an omelette that took 45 minutes to come and was sub par at the least. The service was really bad and it wasn't very busy. It took them 10 minutes to delivery hot sauce when the food finally came and 15 min for them to prepare the check. It took it took us 8 minutes to eat. Sadly It was such a waste of time. Wouldn't recommend coming here to anyone. read more

Went there for vegan options, they had more than Roots next door. Asked for minimal oil and salt. Had the tofu tacos. Good, but the plate was slim and the tacos were falling apart so it just fell off the plate and onto my lap, bouncing off my shirt first getting it messy. The portobello burger was good size but very greasy, like the opposite of what I asked. I am not the type to send it back and waste it so I just ate it. Also they say all the meals are strictly portioned so they couldn't do any custom combinations. They wouldn't offer avocado in place of goat cheese for example. Or put a vegan patty on the portobello burger, I would have to buy a whole plate of food for that. The guy at the counter was nice to talk to but overall disappointed. Glad they were vegan options, but not healthy despite my clear requests. Tried going to Jack's Shack but they were closed early it seemed or the Yelp hours were wrong. read more

This place I would recommend for small parties. Like 5 or less. We were in a large party and they weren't prepared at all. We waited over a hour for our food. And once the food came out, they brought it out one at a time for at least 20 mins. They didn't know who ordered what. The food was okay. I may have been slighted since I waited for my food for so long. The restaurant had a great setting and a live band. I enjoyed the hot cocoa. I would give this place another try. I feel like it was just a bad experience. I heard they were also short staff, I'm not sure if that's true. But other tables that were sat after us got their food before we did. It is not bad, but tries to be too many things. It is a vegan health spot. It is a sports bar. It is a nightclub. I can only really recommend it for lunch, and have not tried the breakfast. There is a small stage and sometimes a band. On sports nights it is a good place to watch a game. Big crowds are not my thing, but it is not a bad place to try. read more

Had a great experience, waitress was super atendant and the place has a great setting. Music was great and food was excellent. Had the fish tacos (Tuna and Mahi). The taste and presentation of the Tuna taco was really great, my only critic is that the soft tortilla (I ordered the corn tortilla), crumbled and had I had to finish them with a fork and knife. Absolutely terrible. The service was extremely slow, the server was confused and flustered. The worst food by far we have had on the island in two weeks. I own a large restaurant in the states and understand that things take time when it's super busy, however the restaurant was almost empty and the coffee took 20 minutes to get and the food an additional hour. We ordered 2 Benedict's and a BLT. The food was extremely bland, the eggs were poached perfectly but the Hollandaise was watery and tasteless, the smoked salmon extremely fishy, and the biscuit a dry hockey puck. read more

We were here for 3 days and went 3 times! The service is warm and friendly! The ginger oatmeal cookies and fresh tuna tacos are amazing! So is the creme brûlée! There iced tea was sweetened and I wanted unsweetened and they kindly offered to brew fresh hot tea and put it on ice. We come to Rincon often and I think this place is a sleeper. The staff are super friendly. I tried the Cafe413 Powerpacked Organic Oatmeal and WOW, super delicious! I'm going to definitely come back tomorrow and have the same thing. :).
