Caesars is a great family owned business here in pinellas county! They worked with my now fiancé to customize an engagement ring that combined both my mother and his mother's diamonds. Prompt service and beautiful work. After the engagement, I took it in as it was a wee bit smaller than my finger & they had it back to me within 24 hrs. Even did an appraisal for warranty before giving it back! Wonderful care, great customer service, and unique pieces inside the shop that aren't so mass produced like some of the others in the mall/area. We didn't have to wait week for it to come back and the service was impeccable. They made us feel like home there. So comforting. My fiancé raves about the great care the shop gave him before the ring was gifted to me! We can't wait to continue to work with this store, especially with our wedding bands. A small family run operation, it appears. I went in after work to change out my watch battery and that of my dear Queen Bee. I had no idea whether they performed this service or not. The lovely lady behind the counter provided me with a resolute "Yes!" after providing a warm personal greeting. So she called out to her colleague for "two watch batteries" and passed our watches to him for change out. So I took a seat after asking if I may do so (another polite, positive response) to wait. Kinda seemed like it took a bit of time, quite honestly. So the fellow (Gerry by name, as I recall) came along after a long pause to present the watches. Turns out that he put in new batteries as well as clean out the watches' innards. He wound them both to the appropriate time and said these batteries would last us two years. Quite honestly, this kind of simple service doesn't merit a long winded review like this. I also see that Gerry was more than just doing the bare minimum. Moreover, the two watches were a gift to us from my mother, so a sentimental value applies, even if they ain't exactly Swiss timepiece gold. As I waited, another fellow came in seeking a nice gift for a friend. Even though this fellow looked like he wasn't really able to afford much (he DID confess to a low budget), he still received gracious service as did I. As I pondered my surroundings, I noted the store has a lovely atmosphere; light pop type music, nice lighting, etc. Not a huge selection of watches, rings, necklaces, etc. but a lovely, varied one. In sum, I found a delightful small store probably doing its damndest to face up to all these monolithic jewelry empires. Definitely a family run, simple yet good operation that'll NEVER beat the prices offered by those corporate diamond dealing dunces. Honestly, I'm not sure I care! I'd rather spend a few extra bucks and get better service rather than getting a big break for bumbling bureaucratic corporate crap! read more

I have been coming here for sometime now. Watch battery changes, new watch bands, adding or replacing links in watch bands. Miscellaneous jewelry repairs. Caesars jewelers does it all. Brought in a watch for a battery. The watch looked and worked fine, just needed a battery. Guy took it and opened it, looked around a bit, then came to me and said that the original crystal had broken and someone had put in a new one. I agreed, it had been done about 2 years earlier. He said whoever did it did a poor job, and there was a lot of glue holding it together. He said they could put in the correct crystal and battery and get me the watch in a day or two. Fine, I said, go ahead. Came back in a few day and picked up the watch, everything was fine, he said. After about a week of everyday use, I noticed that something was wrong with the face of the watch. I seemed stained. So back I go. Spoke to the same guy, He said let me look at it, come back in a couple of days. Fine. Came back in a couple of days, and he said, 'Sorry, the stain is permanent, and I cannot get a new face'. I asked what happened? He said, 'Well, it turns out that the back of the bezel is warped, and the new crystal does not sit flat, so it is no longer waterproof'. And then charged me an inspection fee to pickup my now worthless, stained watch. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! read more

They have replace batteries in watches for me, replaced lost diamonds, and made several repairs on gold necklaces that had broken latches. Their prices are more than fair, there are coupons for discounts available in the newspaper and local flyers, and the owners are very friendly and professional. Terrible customer service!! They charged me a ridiculous amount of money for sizing a ring after giving me one price! They proceeded to treat me extremely rudely after I questioned them about giving back the piece of ring they cut when sizing it. They talked about me when they went into the back room but I could hear them. I gave them one star because they did a good job of sizing my ring but I would not recommend them to anyone!!!!! read more

Asked him to repair a link on a gold bracelet and he put a hole in it since he buffed it too much. He told me that the bracelet wasn't good quality anyway. I asked to solder it with gold not to buff it. Do what the customer wants and repair the damage. He also wants to charge me for the damage he created. I'll pay someone else. read more
