This Caesar Spa location is inside Sheraton Parkway Hotel at the lower level. The decoration of this spa is quite nice. The theme is more Asian spa, think in the line of Thailand and Bali.. There is also a nice outdoor patio area (one time I took a yoga class at the patio, it was quite nice. however the patio is right next to an entrance door and there were people kept slamming the door for the whole time!) I have facial treatments and a hot stone massage here on 2 occasions. The treatments itself were all quite good. The facial massage was excellent and I was really relax. The only comment are the treatment rooms have really thin walls so you can hear all the conservations and people walking around or pushing their equipments while you doing your treatments. The therapists can be quite pushy trying to sell you packages... ( I just tell them I will think about it..) They do have couple room, so you can have a facial with your friends or a massage with your loved ones! Watch for special or package deal. This was literally the ***ABSOLUTE WORST*** spa that i've ever been to. I don't normally write reviews for services, however, this place made me want to warn future customers of the quality of their services and our disappointment with our experience. My friend and I booked the "Renew Package" that included a 45 minute massage, a mani, and pedi. We wanted to have a relaxing experience for our birthdays, and we got the complete opposite. Firstly, the same people did the massage and mani/pedi, and they absolutely didn't know a single thing they were doing. They weren't RMT, so I couldn't really expect a lot from the massage. However, they claimed to be "PROFESSIONAL" estheticians, which was ABSOLUTELY not the case. After our massage, they began with our pedicures, and they had such a small selection of colours. For the quality of service that they offer, they are extremely overpriced --- a pedi is $45, and they said it would cost us another $20 additional for shellac, compared to much better quality nail salons like Aphrodite Spa and Nails that charged only $55 for a shellac pedicure. Moreover, my pedicure was done so poorly --- The nails weren't filed cleanly, and she left rugged edges. The nail polish didn't even cover the full toe, and she didn't even nip out the dead skin around the nails to give is a clean finish. They didn't even know what I meant when I asked if they sterilize their equipment after each use. My friend and I can already tell that the service was terrible, but since we got the package that included a manicure, we decided to just go ahead with the manicure. TERRIBLE IDEA. My friend had shellac nail polish on, and they didn't even know how to properly take it off, and had the audacity to charge her $15 for poorly scraping it off. As I was getting my manicure, the lady didn't seem like she even knew how to use a nail file. I asked for square shaped nails, and every time I looked at them, they were uneven, so she kept filing them down until they weren't even the length I wanted anymore, and so I just filed them myself. Similar to my toes, the lady didn't even clean up the skin around my fingernails. There were clearly still hang nails and cuticles left to take off, yet she was about to put nail polish on already. As for my friend, the lady cut her cuticle too deep and ended up cutting skin off that left her open wounded, which made her nails bleed. After this, we've had enough and told them that we would rather not have our manicures. Since it was part of the package, we thought we would only be getting charged the discounted price of the pedicure. The package altogether was $125 (which I argued was only $115 online when we booked it), but since we didn't do the manicure, she just charged us full price for massage and pedicure which was $115 ($129.95 with tax). I explained to her that with the terrible service that we received, we should at least only be charged with the discounted price of the pedicures instead of charging us $45 for a half done pedicure. We even showed her all the things that were wrong with our pedicures (for example, nail polish painted on the skin around the nails). After expressing our dissatisfaction with their services and quality of work, they claimed that they can't do anything for us, leaving us incredibly disappointed with our overall experience. read more

I was gifted a massage and facial at Cesar's. For the service, spa atmosphere and products I would give you 5 stars no doubt as the service was amazing and products were top quality. My back felt amazing and someone actually told me I was glowing....woohoo!!! My lower rating comes from the staff crazy urge to upsell me and my boyfriend who purchased the gift on their packages. Holy cow never have I been as hounded! I sent an email to them with my feedback and to have to say they were gracious about bring it up in their training and also noted it in our file that we don't like being hounded to buy packages. From the time you enter..during your service and when you leave they will keep mentioning it...Lady I get it! My boyfriend bought a package for me here for my birthday, and to say the least, I did not have a good spa experience here. The decor and ambience is nice but it is an Asian run spa and the service was very brief and I was ignored on several occasions. They didn't have any rooms available so I had my massage in the outdoor patio. There were bugs flying around and people in the hotel pool could look through and see you. I freaked out when I heard men tAlking since I was only wearing my underwear for the massage.. I requested to be moved indoors right away when I saw a pair of male legs on the other side of the patio. The massage was performed by a new girl (so they claim) and was not relaxing at all.. I was to have a full body massage done but she only did my back side and when I flipped over, she only massaged my head.. And it really hurt.. I had to wait for 30 minutes before a different girl could perform my facial.. It was not relaxing at all.. Everything was rushed and she only steamed my face for 3 minutes at most. The mask they used was really nice though, I felt really refreshed after a nap in the facial room. When it was time to go, they couldn't find my locker keys and I had to wait another 30 minutes before they managed to unlock my locker.. My boyfriend bought a $850 voucher for $665 and we are going to request a refund. Its only because this 'spa' is locate inside Sheraton that gives them an excuse to price all services at the same price as the Holt Renfrew spa. All in all, I do not recommend coming here, unless you are in a rush to get massage or facial done and don't mind waiting for a very disorganized staff. read more

I bought Groupon deals for $45 each: A 60-minute Éminence Stone Crop hydration facial (up to a $75 value) A 30-minute hot-stone massage (up to a $65 value) A paraffin foot treatment (up to a $30 value) The technician we had (Christine) was excellent. She was very professional, attentive and did not try to push us into buy anything (she did make suggestions). I paid extra $30/person to enjoy the Vitamin C facial as well which based on the original pricing was a steal too!! Christine also did a good job with our massages and foot treatments. I've been to two locations: one in the lower level of Sheraton Parkway Hotel in Richmond Hill, and one in the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in Markham. The decor for the one at the Sheraton Hotel is very nice and sort of thai themed, and it seems like they put some thought in the decor, but the one in the Holiday Inn wasn't so special. Actually it was in need of refreshing and rooms were claustrophobic. The treatments that I had were mediocre -- for the facial that I had at the Sheraton location, the girl kept banging her chair around and slamming cabinet doors which I found quite disturbing since it should've been a relaxing facial. After the treatment was over, they were pushy for me to pre-purchase more facials in advance, and when the manager saw that I wasn't interested in prepaying, she just walked off and ignored me when she heard her baby crying in the back room!! Yes, she had brought her baby to work! For the next treatment I had, it was at the lower level of the Holiday Inn with my mom so we were in a two-persons' room. The two massage therapists were talking throughout the treatment which made it so uncomfortable! Anyway, lots of better Chinese owned spas that give much better service and enjoyable experience. read more

I bought a caesar spa massage and facial service in Groupon. The price are ok with this service. Environment are good. The lady Attitude was polite. But the service is not qualified. Not professional. The whole back massage was only up and down with oil to push my back. Only one movement. Not comfortable. Everybody can do it. No relax. The facial massage is better than back massage. But Not good. It only take a few minute. not enough time for relax. cleaning face and black dot in nose are very quick to finish. The first time I went there was by friend's referral and the experience was greats. Really like how my face feel after the facial. So I bought their package deals right away since it was a good price. However, the couple of times I went after the quality was average. I think it's their technique to make you buy their package. The WORST experience ever! I do not recommend this spa at all. I booked Microdermabrasion treatment, full leg waxing and a manicure. With Microdermabrasion, I have being pushed to buy beauty products and/or extra soothing treatment because it was not included in microdermabrasion. My skin was so irritated after the treatment taht of course I accepted the extra treat ($70). I also had little bruising next to my eyes because she insisted to long on these areas. The waxing was unacceptable! They kept me 1h40 to do full legs (My regular aesthetician needs 40 min up to 1 hour if we chit chat too much :-). On top of that they were 3 girls doing the waxing. I've never seen that and at the end it wasn't done well. The cabin was so small and there is no garbage; it became quickly messy, dirty and disguting. They are not professionally equipped; they use small waxing spatulas so no suprise it takes for ever to have the job (badly) done. Because it took so long, I had to cancel my manicure. I was very upset and disappointed so I told the receptionnist. Instead of apologizing, she defended her team and dared to put the blame on me! I've NEVER seen that in Canada and in Europe. It is really a shame for the Sheraton to be linked with such unprofessional services and demeanor. read more

I had received a way spa gift card and looked up the available spas in my area and this one was the first one on the list so o decided to try them out. Scheduling the appointment was pleasant and quick. Was able to answer all my questions. Now comes time for the service. When arrived the front staff was on the phone so I didn't expect her to drop because of me but then she did. Asked me to have a seat and I'll be attended to shortly. Soon another associate came and asked for my gift card. Then turns out she was the one who would be performing the services today. Honestly, she didn't make me feel welcomed at all. She made me feel like I was wasting her time and that she had better things to do. Not friendly at all. Didn't talk or try to make conversation. I feel if you work at a spa you should have some qualities to make a client feel welcomed at a spa. Especially a high end one. Nice place but need to work on customer service.
