My daughter and I signed up for the "Elite" session not realizing that meant we would not be offered the same packages as those that signed up for the "Legacy" session. With the Elite session, if you want the digital images it's $1800! That is absolutely ridiculous. With the Legacy session, it's $399. I should be able to limit the # of images and pay the same as a Legacy session. I called to speak to someone about it. Spent 2 hours waiting for someone. Someone finally answered and hung up on me after they pulled up my account. I can't get anyone on the phone to talk to about it! Am I going to have to drive to the studio to get some answers?? I should be able to order the same package as someone else. Not happy and will be sure North Gwinnett High and Gwinnett Co hear about this rip off. read more

They charged my credit card I had put on file for senior pictures for a whole portfolio I did not order. There was a big mixup with names and pictured and due to all the confusion they said they sent me my son's pics free of charge. And now trying to get them to refund my money has turned into a big ordeal. I have to talk to a supervisor but can't be connected to one. Say they have to put in a request call for someone to call back. The pictures themselves aren't even good. Didn't get the backgrounds, outfit changes or touch ups we wanted for his senior pictures. read more

The pictures are great quality and all of the poses are great. The only downside is that certain photographers don't care as much as others. Shoutout to all the ones who do their job efficiently. read more

Was very disappointed paid for school senior pictures had to pick a package was 199 I was like ok way high and the young blonde curly hair receptionist was rude the photographer was amazing before we started I thought senior pictures were include as I was told at the end of hours being there camera kept breaking not his fault he was great at end was told no pictures were included my jar dropped I have to pay separately those charges were for set ups I would got a professional job somewhere else's with 100 pictures and cheaper than 199 then we had a virtual meeting and I didn't feel any customer service like it was a bother then again it additional cost another 200 plus 60 for a single picture it was false advertising didn't feel the special moments with my senior the photographer was sweet it was horrible they want you to pay over 2009 for full session guys go somewhere else read more

This company deserves 0 stars. Very dissatisfied with this company. Would not allow return of portfolio after 30 days. Ridiculous to send physical prints when digital photos are online. Just a scam to make money. read more

99$ for two senior digital images. This is insane. I don't understand who selected that company and if they work with the county why county doesn't limit their charges. Doesn't look good. read more

This company charged my credit card $205 for a picture portfolio. I didn't know that I needed to return it. They said it was in the terms and conditions in a pop up. Be careful dealing with this company when ordering your child's Senior Portraits. They have very deceptive practices. Alerting the Fulton County school district. They send you 100 emails per week. Parents beware. There are reviews about their deceptive practices all over the internet. read more

We had a bad experience previously but the Company was very helpful in helping us to make sure their oversights were corrected. Thank you!

Dealing with Cady has been the worst part of my senior's activities. I have been charged for a portfolio I returned and now it's impossible to find a number to contact anyone to discuss it. You would be better off hiring an independent photographer who would be more deserving of your business. read more

Sneaky website trying to make you purchase things by randomly preselecting items. Sneaky in general trying to sell you $150 portfolio. I don't like their way of pushing you to pay more. read more

A pleasant and efficient session for my son's senior pictures. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to seeing the portfolio based on what I viewed on the computer screen during his session. The manager was walking around ensuring that everyone was having a good experience. I cannot comment on pricing yet since I haven't received the photos, but I was very pleased with the process and all of the background options available. read more

Went today for my daughters senior pics. The studio had a fun vibe and was well organized. The yearbook pic photographer seemed bored and disinterested. I asked her to fix my daughters drape and she seemed annoyed. The studio photographer, Ben, however was excellent - he was really interested in getting great pics and very personable. Hopefully all pics will turn out nicely. read more

This company should be ashamed of themselves. They are EXTEMELY overpriced and my son's Senior pictures and poses were okay, at best. Good thing I took the advice of Senior moms who came before me and only booked the most basic $45 session for 1 formal pose (for the yearbook)... no actual prints or even a digital copy of the pics. Instead of spending over $800 on junk pictures, I went to a local photographer and paid $150 for AMAZING pictures, with several different locations and outfits. I then submitted one of those photos as the casual picture for the yearbook. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY with this joke of a company. read more

Where do I even start? Initially I was hopeful and excited about Cady. The brochure was beautiful and unique. When I first tried to make an appointment, the Waters Ave. location was not yet open so we waited until a few months after they opened. I booked a Simple session for $30 which included Cap/Gown, Formal and one casual in studio scene. The studio is clean, bright, and busy. They play the music loud to generate high energy. My son enjoyed his experience however I was not impressed. The photographer taking his casual pic did a good job posing and capturing his personality but then we were passed off to different photographers for Formal and Cap/Gown. They seemed less interested and less experienced. A few weeks after the session we received the portfolio in the mail. I was not 100% happy so we booked a retake. Having learned from the first session, I came prepared to make requests for specific poses. My daughter graduated in 2018, her pics were done at a different studio but I wanted my sons pictures to "match" hers. I needed a formal done landscape and with a white background. And I needed a Cap/Gown closeup, like a head-shot. Thankfully they were able to accommodate those requests. A few weeks later the second portfolio arrived. It contained the retake pics and the original session pics. The retakes were worse than the original. The casual ones were over exposed and not centered. In the the formal ones, his "fake shirt and tie" were too big and sloppy. These may seem like nit picky things but for the price they are asking to print the pictures I expect perfection. 11 Sheets of pics $539. Between the originals and the retakes there were two pictures that were okay so I decided to wait until Black Friday/Christmas to see if a coupon came out to place an order. A Black Friday code came out (all of the emails were being sent to my sons email which he never checks so I was unaware that other discounts had come out) so I prepared my order, entered the code and it did not apply to the "Make your Own" package. I was displeased so I posted a reply to their Black Friday post on Facebook. My comment was deleted and I was blocked from making any future comments. What kind of company does that? This explains why they have zero negatives on their Facebook page. Now today we got notification that Cap/Gown pics are available to view. The only one that I wanted and specifically requested is in black and white and I have to pay an additional $14 to have it changed to color. Also you cannot combine Cap/Gown pics with the others, they are a separate purchase. (2)5x7 and (8)Wallets will cost me $97.65. I feel like I am being held hostage, obviously I want my sons senior pictures so I have to pay. This company is awful and for the sake of future graduates I will be asking Steinbrenner High school to change companies. There are better options available. read more

I just had my Senior pictures taken and it was an amazing experience. Each photo shoot went by quickly and the photographers helped each person look their best. I wanted to give a shout-out to Ben in particular: he was my photographer for the Cap and Gown photos. Not only was he very flexible and patient with me, he was also personal and very genuine with his conversations. I wish him best of luck for the future! read more

Torah was so helpful with everything and quick to respond! Lovely experience. My photos turned out so well also!

My daughter's school started using CADY last year instead of Prestige. The experience with the photographer was ok, but the pictures were not that good. Just because these are seniors and parents ARE GOING to make a purchase, does not mean that you have to be robbed!! Very over priced and when I called to have a $20.00 off coupon applied, I was told that it was a 2 day only coupon and it could not be applied. I placed an order for a basic package at $79.00 per sheet and could not even select 2 poses, which was 1 pose for sheet, to be able to "mix it up" a little bit. I was told that I could do that but there would be a $29.00 charge. Ridiculous!! You are already paying for 2 sheets of paper, why would that matter? This place truly takes advantage of a very important time in a student's life by overpricing their senior pictures. read more

Senior yearbook photos - if school did not require us to use Cady for the yearbook, I would not have gone there at all. Lighting on candids is awful - shadows all over my son's face. Be careful when you choose the initial sitting package!! I chose the Most Popular package for my daughter for $125 and they set up "viewing" appointment around 2 weeks after your pictures taken. I'm aware of their VERY expensive prints/packages/products, so I thought I came prepared but they still managed to surprise me!! They DID NOT allow me to buy the portfolio ($200) cause I also HAVE to buy one of the packages!! The cheapest package costs $174 (!!) which I will only get 6 prints of 5x7 of one pose!! When I asked why my daughter's friend was allowed to buy just the portfolio, they said it's different since I got viewing appointment and my daughter has more pictures taken. Oh well.... read more

Worst photography experience ever. They have high schoolers taking the pictures. Studio is messy, disorganized and they speed you through it. It's the K-mart of photography studios. Wasn't happy when we left and as expected the pictures were meh. Prices are way too high for what you receive. I made myself order because they were senior pictures and then immediately regretted it. I called the next morning to cancel. They told me they'd call me back at 3 p.m. and could work with me. Big surprise, they never called. I called them back the next day only to be told they were already "in production." Bad experience all the way around. Will NEVER use them again. read more

This place is a joke, no help your on your own ! Sad that the schools promote them a SCAM, very over priced. Poor customer service . I am sure they don't care because the mark-up is 400%. This really saddens me the process, procedure and entire experience is negative! THIS SHOULD BE CHANGED FOR SENIOR PICTUERS/YEARBOOK ETC. I guess this is suppose to be an area of expertise for them. I think that they MUST pursue other options! Customer service poor run around sad ! Spoke to about 5 representatives and then I get 5 different stories? read more

This is my 3rd time using Cady Studios for senior pictures. The 1st 2 times the pictures were not very good and were overpriced. I could have done a better job myself. This time the pictures came out great. I am guessing a more experienced photographer. But the prices have increased and they are outrageously overpriced, They know they have you because you are forced to use them for the year book. The package choices are terrible. Kids don't gice out senior pictures to their friends anymore. Why all the walletts? read more

Horrible experience from start to finish! 1) I couldn't figure out how to sign up for the basic sitting fee just for the senior yearbook picture. I had to call to find out, there is a teeny tiny button on the bottom of the page that you need to click. The page looks like you have no option except to pay over $200+! 2) I paid $69 for the sitting fee and then started getting emails and texts reminding me of the upcoming session. No where on any of the communications (email and text) were there any instructions as to WHERE my son was supposed to go for the session! So, once again I had to call. 3) I received a portfolio with pictures, which were ok, not great by any means. They looked like proofs to me, but they weren't watermarked. There was no bill included, no paperwork, NOTHING that indicated I needed to pay for them or return them, which is normally what I would expect. 4) Today I got charged $203 for the portfolio! I called and explained all of the above and said I would return the portfolio. Their response was that it was past 30 days and that I should have known (I guess by mind-reading) that I could have printed a return label from their website. How would I have known this?? 5) Since they won't reverse the charge or take the portfolio back, I had to cancel my credit card and file a fraudulent claim! read more

If i could give this company a -100 i would.. All they have is ridiculous hidden prices. I paid an extra $20 just to remove 2 small acne spots off my son forehead which instead of removing them they enhanced them in the pictures.. they cut the pictures into three to four sections which you have to pay for each and every one of them separately.. so before you actually get your pictures you have paid almost $1,000 for a few pictures.. if my son school did not have a contract with cadystudios there is no way he would have been there taking pictures read more

I am outraged with Cady Studios!! They seriously do a below average job and then produce a terrible product. I HAD to use them to get My son's senior pic in the yearbook.... I did not get it retouched, since I've always taken his pic and never had to retouch..... the formal pic looks like he had severe acne and that his face is all pocked..... so I figure, I'll pay the extra $5-$10 to get it done. So I call...... $89!!!!! To retouch a pic!! Extortion!! read more

Absolutely terrible!!! Not only are the pictures terrible, they took money out of my bank account after I returned the portfolio 2 weeks early. When I called them they said I hadn't returned the portfolio , only to miraculously find it. Still waiting for my money to be returned after 5 days of my calling. I cannot imagine why the school systems continue to use such a poor photography studio!! I'd give zero stars if it allow me. They're clearly thieves as well!! read more

As a parent I was disappointed the cost of my senior pictures are ridiculous. You take pictures for your invitation and all for your seniors. The school in fayette county sent this home for the students to take senior pictures (Sandy Creek) and we have to pay 890.00 for the right of these pictures. SANDYCREEK YOU OUGHT TO BE ASHAME AND CADY STUDIOS FOR taking parents through this, this is a RIP off.who got the kick back from this deal at the school. SANDYCREEK you do horrible stuff but this take the icing off the cake. read more

Initially I was really excited to schedule my senior's photo shoot with Cady because at first glance it looks like a good value. But I quickly realized that there is little to no transparency about pricing. It has been a difficult process to find in depth information and answers about how the process works and how much the sheets and packages are. No specific prices are listed on the website, only price ranges - which are very broad. So I called and spoke to a customer service rep who also could not (would not) tell me a single dollar amount for a sheet, package, or digital rights. I assume they are specifically instructed NOT to share that information as it would likely deter many, many people from booking anything more than a simple yearbook shot. From what I've gathered from other reviews and other parents I know who have used Cady in the past, the photos are amazing but the prices are exorbitant. It is disheartening and frustrating that any company would take advantage of such a milestone to broadside unsuspecting families and students who may not have the means to afford such a price tag. read more

I wish I could rate zero stars. I am appalled at the gauging that occurs for senior photos. We are forced to use this service (pay $200+ if you want digital and print elsewhere) and now there is a new way to gauge the customer - arbitrarily select B&W poses and then charge if the parents/students want color. This is not ok and it gets worse every year. Parents need to push back on this practice! read more

As a senior, pictures that are taken to be put in the yearbook are free unless you want a print. Cady studios is making my school pay for studio sessions most of us don't want for $30. It's ridiculous and unfair. I just want my picture in the yearbook, not a whole session in a studio that's at an inconvenient location at inconvenient times. Very disappointed of how they are taking advantage of families. read more

$1,000 for senior pictures and the photos don't even come cut. You have to cut them apart like regular school pictures and their name "cady studios" is stamped on every one. On the front. Also missing the USB drive that drove the price up so high. Very little flexibility and or options for packages. I never thought I would say that Prestige/Lifetouch was so much better for my daughter's senior pictures a few years ago. Lakeside High school I'm not happy that this was the partner you chose. read more

Cady studios is a complete rip off. It cost me $50 for the basic package and an additional $14 for retouch. The whole experience has been a nightmare. Before the session I called to get a refund because I was unaware that I could have a private photographer take my daughter's photos, which was my fault, I guess I should have asked questions. They do not offer refunds. So I said okay fine we already paid let's just go the session. We get there and it is PACKED, people are all over the place, the cap and gowns (my daughter's is white) was disgusting and dirty. The post ing was horrible. Only like 2 photographers that were actually taking pictures. The $50 is just a session fee? Are you kidding me? The pictures look absolutely horrible. But I was still planning on buying my daughter's year book picture since it's her SENIOR year. You only have ONE of those. But they want $25 for one picture? You have got to be kidding me. So needless to say, I paid $64 for nothing. NOW I will hire a private photographer for an hour, multiple outfit changes and quality work for $150 and that is including ALL of my prints. If you plan on using Cady studios RUN! It is not worth it. read more
