First of all, they were able to fit us in on New Year's Eve which was only 2 days after we originally got in contact with them. All other companies we talked to were 2-3 weeks out. Not to mention, they were the most affordable of all the companies we contacted. Max came to our home to do the work and was incredible the whole time. He answered all my questions, kept me up to date on what he found, and even fixed a vent pipe we didn't know was broken for no extra charge. Barn Pro's insisted that I take delivery of the building material.....that was a nightmare as the shipping company came, without notice, a day late and it was raining. Despite covering the materials and keeping them in the shade, the beams twisted, warped and went bad. The barn finally came out well but the contractors I hired are the reason for that. As for Barn Pro's, they have a great website with fake reviews, just look how many people on Yelp are hating on them! All true! Take the pics and hire your own local draftsman....avoid these crooks like the plague!!!

If you have wood that is damaged or not up to par you have to jump through hoops to get it resolved while your crew is on the clock and waiting. Also to get the barns you see in their online photos you will have to spend up to $10,000 in additional cost. After months of frustrating conversations and emails my barn is done. It has only been two months and I am already having issues with the wood on the outside cracking. To them is not uncommon. I love my barn but the additional cost to get it to look finished was stressful and way over budget. I guess I am just disappointed that they won't stand behind their product.

Finally, a stroke of luck and a diligent rep at the finishings supply outfit connected us with the Stair Shop in Monroe. Their innovative QNose process, which takes regular flat engineered, pre-finished flooring and then carefully cuts and reconfigures it to make a stair nosing that is a perfect match to the flooring itself (since it's made from exactly the same material), was _exactly_ what we needed. I wouldn't say it was a bargain, but the price was reasonable considering the detail work involved. It was comparable to most other quality options that we had been considering, and of course addressed the aesthetic result in a superior way. In fact, the square profile of the stair nosing was a better choice for us than the usual rounded stair nosing. The process was simple from our perspective: we just delivered the necessary quantity of the flooring to their shop, and they turned it into the nosing we needed. They were prompt and professional, and turn-around time was right in line with the schedule they gave us. They solved a problem for us that had stumped every single other person on the project, and the results could not look any better.

Went here for flooring for stairs and bedrooms, I had purchased laminate flooring for downstairs…read moreonline thinking I was getting a good deal but the MDF backed flooring I got is crap, so I wanted to see what I was actually buying. I really wanted a bamboo based laminate but all of theirs were mdf backed so we just went with a regular plywood backed laminate. The one we chose was out of stock but due in so we went ahead and ordered it, came in pretty quick and so far the flooring I put on the stairs looks great, we have medium size dogs that run up and down stairs and it is holding up great, I will probably end up redoing the downstairs with flooring from these folks.
