It has been a great cart, smooth ride, great distance off the lithium batteries and I love that fact you do not have to set the brake on EZGO carts. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I bought a golf cart from them about six months ago. Within a week something went wrong with the braking system and they tried to charge me to fix it. I literally had to threaten to sue them to get it fixed (one week in!!). Now, a few days ago something went wrong with the battery/electric system so the golf cart goes limp and the battery charge drops out,. Not only are they trying to charge me to pick up the golf cart, but are trying to charge me to "determine" whether six months later, the golf cart is still under warranty. Obviously they don't stand behind their product but more importantly, in my humble opinion they are not reputable. Run, don't walk away from them. I wish I had looked at their other reviews before buying a golf cart there. read more

The honesty and integrity of their repair service. Cart was brought in 2 times to fix the same issue with brakes. Cart returned And charged for repair at time of drop off And never fixed correctly. Caddyshack is a 1980 American sports comedy film, but Caddyshack Golf Cart is no joke. I had my golf cart originally serviced by them on December 22, 2021, and again on February 24, 2022. It's an old golf cart, and I was hesitant to keep it and thought it might make more sense to upgrade to a newer one, but Tyler(service manager) and Chris(owner) didn't think that was necessary. I recently had another issue with the cart, and they picked it up on January 10th, 2023. They fixed the problem, detailed the cart, and didn't charge me a penny. The issue was part of what they fixed in February of 2022, so they didn't think I should have to pay, even for the pickup and delivery. I highly recommend them as they are my only trusted partner in golf carts. read more

A few months back I went to this store and the owner Tim was there. He was extremely pleasant and took his time while I looked at carts and contemplated trading in one I had. I decided to have him do some upgrades on my other cart, a EZ-GO 2Five which included a larger water tank for AC unit, new steering wheel and upgraded leaf springs in the rear to prevent bottoming out when people are in back seat. Everything was done to perfection. Fast forward to today I went back in and told him an issue I am having with my 2016 6 seater EZ-GO and was thinking about trading it in again. He had a real nice used cart on his floor and instead of trying to swing the deal he put the owner and I in touch so we could save money. He also told me what to do with my battery issue on it and I was able to fix it for $30 versus needing to pay for shop charges and transportation charges. Highly recommend! Thanks. read more

This Review starts off terrible but finishes great. I bought a new EZ Go from Advantage Golf Cars here in La Quinta. Within a couple of weeks I began to have serious problems with it and soon discovered that Advantage Golf Cars was out of business and that the closest dealer was in Hemet. For the next 18 months I communicated with EZGo corporate and they did their best to send field techs out to fix it, often being down 2 weeks at a time. Finally, this June, it failed so badly that the field tech couldn't fix it. That's when EZGo Corporate told me that Caddyshack in Palm Desert was now an authorized dealer. I went to see Tim Martin, the owner of Caddyshack and he immediately had my golf cart taken to his store, and, in his shop, discovered that among all the many, many mechanical failures the body was also cracked through. He determined that I had been sold an old, rebuilt cart by Advantage Golf cars, and not the new one that I had paid for. Tim was appalled, and took it upon himself to deal with EZGo Corporate to completely repair my golf cart (AC motor, motor brake, wire harness, battery hold down, front and rear body and rocker panels), paying for the labor out of his own pocket. Caddyshack had some difficulty getting the right color body parts delivered, so I told Tim to just use whatever he had in stock instead. He refused to do that because the colors he had would not match my top perfectly and he wanted my golf cart perfect. Finally, the right color came in, his technicians put it together and delivered it to me the very same day. I now have the brand new golf cart I thought I had bought 18 months ago from Advantage Golf cars only to discover that they cheated me. My golf car looks and runs like new, thanks to the personal intervention of Tim Martin and Caddyshack. A business with that kind of amazing integrity deserves all the local business we can give it. If Caddyshack did all of this for me when it had no duty or responsibility whatsoever to do so, other than the owner thought it was the right thing to do, imagine the service we will get what it actually IS his responsibility. Also, when getting updates on the above from Caddyshack, I often spoke with Kimberly who was always, cheerful, charming, and very professional. I'm not sure what her job title is, but if you speak to her you can't go wrong. read more

We purchased a used Golf Cart and was told we would have a 30 day warranty that covered everything. Within two weeks of driving our cart, it had broke down unexpectedly. We had to call a tow service just to get our cart back home. It cost $90.00. Caddy shack Golf Carts did reimburse us, hesitantly. Less than a week after getting our cart back, it broke down again. We had to have it towed back to out home. Again. Tyler, the second sales person, reassured us that we would be reimbursed for the second tow. Within our 30 day Warranty', they had it longer than we did. They eventually said that through all of the hardships they put us through, they would sweeten up a deal for an 'almost' brand new cart. It was straight up retail with ZERO concessions. Chris, our first sales person is the worst sales cart/car person you will ever encounter. Our second sales person, Tyler, who promised out reimbursement for the second tow, simply doesn't return our calls. Buyers, beware. Best advice I can give you is : if they offer a 30 day warranty, make sure you drive it every day for 30 days to find out if there's anything wrong. read more

A week later and still no return call. If they were too busy, just call me back. I had vacation renters wanting to use the golf cart and this caused me a 3-4 delay in getting the cart fixed. Meanwhile, I was referred to Golf Cart Dave's, and they were extremely responsive with excellent communication and the cart is fixed. I bought a custom golf cart for $15,000 when it was delivered to my house which is approximately 100 miles away I noticed that the left brake light kit was hanging loose the brake light therefore did not work. I called the company and the head of service told me for them to fix it I would have to pay for pick up and redelivery or I should fix it myself. Also, after several weeks, I noticed dirt and debris inside both front head lights, therefore, the lights were not sealed property. For $15,000 I really expected a product that should be in perfect working order and also have customer service deal with this problem. I would not deal with this company in the future. read more

Spent $20,000 on a new card before delivery had Caddie Shack Golfcarts install a high output motor . After 2 rounds of golf reared seared making a horrible grinding noise , Called the dealer just to be told the high out put motor damaged rear gears ! After repair, 4 more rounds and I noticed the rt front tire was rubbing and now a small crack in the rt front fender. I went in and talked to the owner and was told due to the high power motor now the front springs were damaged and warn out ! This is the fast talking crap you would expect from some back alley used car lot ! Think me stuped please don't talk me stuped.
