Golf Cart Dave's is the best! Reading some of the past reviews, I have no idea what some of these negative reviews are about. The entire crew here has been nothing less than helpful and kind to me. I bought an older western off of facebook marketplace a few years ago that had quite a few issues, and Golf Cart Dave's helped me get it back on its feet and running like new! We were gifted an old cart and wanted to bring her back to life. So, we contacted Golf Cart Daves. We worked with Craig on all of the items we wanted to include in the update. He quickly created a quote and then came and picked her up. We made our color selections for the body, carpet, and upholstery. Then picked out some slick wheels! I have a place and a golf cart at PGA West. My golf cart is a few years old, and the battery ran really low after only a single round of golf. I decided to upgrade to a lithium battery and started shopping around. I checked with be company I purchased the cart from, another that serviced it one and a couple of referrals for the job. Everyone was coming in at around $4,200 for a decent battery. Almost as an afterthought, I tried Golf Cart Dave's since they have a location at our clubhouse onsite and it would be very convenient. As it turned out, not only was it convenient, it was a great value too, and the finish on the installation is top notch. I highly recommend them for lithium battery upgrades. read more

Recently took our cart in to have the bushings checked. Turned out the front bushings were badly worn, but the rear were fine. Also, unbeknownst to us, the MCOR was not acting as it should, and Craig took the time to explain why, and recommended it be replaced so we did not end up being stranded suddenly. Work was done quickly, and after, there was a small patch of something that had dripped on our garage floor (thankfully on a G-Floor vinyl, so easy to clean up). Saw one spot where there was a drop of something at the front of the cart, so called and asked if they could check it. Also, felt like the cart was not as "peppy" since the MCOR was changed. Craig was pleased to have us bring the cart back to check these concerns. I did mention that the dripping had stopped, and suspected that it could have just been some lubricant from all the work done to replace the front bushings. Seems that was the case, so no big deal. Craig willingly replaced the MCOR he had just put in, based on the information I had provided about the performance. To his credit, he did this in the event the MCOR was faulty. The cart is performing the same now as it did with the initial replacement, but thanks to his explanation, I now understand why the cart is accelerating differently than it was previous to the first replacement - in fact, it is driving more safely now than before. Kudo's to the quick response to check the cart, and having it addressed immediately. Anyone can work on a golf cart, but it is the before and after customer service that matters the most. I recently took my golf cart to Golf Cart Dave's in La Quinta, Ca. my cart stopped running. Their diagnosis was that the motor needed to be replaced. Cost was $1300.00 dollars. Since, the motor was only four years old I had another golf cart company diagnose the problem. They said the motor was fine and the cart was running after igniting a switch. No charge. I went back to Golf Cart Dave's and requested the $120.00 diagnostic fee they charged for their diagnosis. My conversation with who identified as the owner was very rude and offensive to me. He refused to reimburse the fee. I was a recent customer, spending $1400.00 for new batteries. I told the owner that I would publicize my dissatisfaction with him. His comment was "do what you have to do." I would suggest taking your cart elsewhere. read more

Our cart quit half way through the front nine on Feb 15/25. Power level indicator turned off suddenly (Lithium battery). Pushed the power button and the power came back on, then within 5 seconds, turned off again. This happened 4 times. Had cart towed back to Golf Cart Dave's. Left the cart there (on a Saturday) with a note describing what was happening. Did not expect to hear back until Tuesday, as Monday was President's day. Surprisingly, Craig, Jasmine, and the crew were all working on Monday and were already diagnosing the issue. I assumed there was a loose connection, but that did not turn out to be the case. We had noted that since changing the MCOR recently, the cart did not seem to have the same "zip" when accelerating and I mentioned this to Craig. They tested our 2-year old Lithium battery and it was fine. They did a software/hardware update to the battery. After extensive test driving by his tech, the cart was running well again. When I drove it back home, it once again had the "zip" that seemed to have diminished after the MCOR was changed. Clearly, the issue was not related to the replaced MCOR, but the battery was in need of an update; not something one would think of necessarily when the cart was still performing. Excellent service by Craig and his crew once again. Would highly recommend taking your cart there for service. read more

absolutely the worst told me my batteries were old and needed replaced after 2 weeks prior annual tune up told was perfect I said I would get new batt from Costco he doesn't install Costco so I got batteries and had Hernandez cart repair he said battery's were less than 2 years I said golf cart dave checked go ahead and replace he did still no power not the batteries something in box were toggle is explained to Dave's and asked for future credit on repairs after spending $150 with golf cart dave and now $200 with Hernandez and my time getting batteries from Costco and returning screw golf cart dave Hernandez is my service man now my service man read more

I dropped off my cart for a checkup and the technicians gave me an honest overview of what my cart needed. The response rate was quick and I was able to receive my cart back the following day! I definitely recommend bringing your cart here for electrical/mechanical issues. They are currently selling lithium and I don't need the batteries yet but I will be converting here with Golf Cart Dave's in the future. read more

I arranged for two new tires and the headlights to be repaired on January 11, 2022. When I arrived at their repair shop at 8:00 am, I was informed that the tires hadn't arrived and that they would advise me when they were available. I checked back with them a couple of times and they assured me that I would be informed once the tires arrived. It is now February 17th and I have not received any information. I've been a customer of the company for over 10 years and it's appalling how the service has deteriorated. read more

Craig at Golf Cart Dave's is our "Go-To" guy! We have a Yamaha golf cart and had a problem that GCDs was able to quickly diagnose and get the cart fixed. Craig is honest and he let us know when parts where on back order ( during all the shipping delays) and when things are expected to arrive. He is great about getting our cart in for routine maintenance and suggestions for when to have future maintenance issues addressed. We have recently had GCDs completely redo and older Club Car. Mechanical, electrical, paint, upholstery, lithium battery, everything. It has come out even better then I had envisioned. Craigs experience helped us with putting the cart together. What accessories he thought we would like and what to avoid. He is great to work with and his assistant, Jasmin and his lead mechanic, Bill are fantastic as well. read more

She made sure to communicate with me through the whole process, as well as organizing a pick up and delivery for me. Staff on-site was able to answer all my questions and provided excellent service. We purchased two used golf carts from Golf Cart Daves. They gave us good pricing, and they had new batteries. We purchased them less than a year ago. They gave the warranty of one year on the batteries. One of the carts had problems with the charger, which they replaced. That charger did not perform well, they rebuilt the one that came with the cart originally and brought that one back. That charger lasted less than one week. They did not fix the charger, so I ordered a new one from someone else at our own expense. I will not recommend them or buy another cart from them. read more

I bought all new batteries from them given Frankie said that was my problem. After installation the power gauge was showing no or little power so maybe a faulty gauge so not sure batteries were the problem but cost me close to $1300. I swallowed that but still an issue and talked to Frankie at least 10 times on the issue and always said we are on it...2 months later no response. I am guessing a $100 part was my problem but I paid for all new batteries and still no response from these guys. Not impressed. STAY AWAY! read more
