From the consult/bid process mr. zubras instills confidence that he knows what he is doing. Most of my outlets were not functioning, my meter had a bird nest attached to it... the line from my back house to the main house was the wrong type of cable not meant for outdoor use. yikes. who knows how much jack rigging had gone on in prior years. I was living in fear the wall wiring would ignite. Zubra's team swooped in. What was estimated as a week of work turned into 3 days. The team was friendly and not terribly intrusive . its always hard to have a team working on your house and in your space. Not having much idea how a house electrical system works... and its all in the walls.. it still feels like mystery magic. but , hey, all the outlets work and things seem fine. I have a lovely outdoor meter and fuse box now. Plus a sturdy exterior cable that should withstand the elements until /if I can ever afford to have that cable buried for aesthetic reasons. Mr Sparky came out, replaced the one beeping, no charge. Now they say I have to pay to replace the defective ones because the warranty ran out one month ago! I argued that they put in defective ones, why didn't they replace them all at once instead of letting my warranty expire? No, they only replace them when the battery goes out. These type of smoke detectors don't have a 9-volt that can be replaced. Supervisor John Whitfield, Customer Value Manager at Mister Sparky got snappy with me so I called the police. His worker walked out and drove away without replacing anything. So, this company doesn't care about pleasing customers, just ripping them off. Be careful of wolves in sheep's clothing. Their price seemed fair, though I later had serious concerns about the equipment, workmanship, and customer service. The crew arrived at 6:30 a.m. and left around 8:20 p.m. Several parts of the system appeared bent when they arrived. The workers said this had happened during transport and would not affect performance. Midway through the job, they discovered a missing part. It took about two hours to arrive, and the workers told me the company had to get it from another company. During the installation, I heard the workers unsure about where parts belonged, and they consulted instructions on a phone. After the installation, the system did not start. The crew initially said it might need time to communicate, but later found that some wires may have been connected incorrectly. They changed the connections, and the system started working about an hour and a half later. I also found that the attic ladder door would not close properly. A screw had fallen out during the work, and the crew told me it had been thrown away. They closed the door with tape. I contacted Team Enoch every day for two weeks trying to speak with a manager. Sam eventually called and said the company would not repair damage to the ladder or door, referring to a disclosure she said she would email me. I was especially concerned because this is a rental property with tenants, including two young children, during the summer. I felt I had little practical choice but to let the work continue rather than leave them without air-conditioning while I arranged another company. Based on my experience, I'm disappointed with the installation and the company's response afterward. I've attached photos of the bent equipment and the attic door taped shut. I recommend that others ask detailed questions about equipment condition, installation qualifications, and how property damage is handled before hiring.
