I recently had the windows tinted on my brand new car at Cadasse- my first and last time doing business with Dale.
From the start he was impatient and obtuse in explaining our options and answering our questions.
He had to make an accommodation to our tint job that required leaving a square cut in the tint. Rather than explaining this ahead of time, he showed us afterward and copped an attitude when we expressed surprise and doubt about leaving it that way. Not to mention that the square cut is ragged. I've seen cleaner square shapes cut in 5th grade art classes.
Dale left streaks and smears of the soapy liquid he uses in the tint process throughout the interior: dashboard, steering wheel, info screen and doors. There was even liquid pooled down in the door pocket, wetting items I had there.
There are now two identical chips in the paint of the two front door jambs. I brought the car back to bring these to Mr. C attention, and questioned if he knew how they got there. Mr. Cadasse became "very offended" and said he had nothing to do with the chips. I can't prove he does, but
A. they weren't there before he did the job (I'm Certain of that)
B. I didn't put them there
C. No one else has been near the car but me since the tint job
He offered no apology for the mess in the interior I had to clean up the next day and, instead talked his way around any responsibility.
I wish I'd gone with my gut and worked with Sun Stoppers In Stoughton- where they quoted the job for less money, and you can watch a video on their website of their technician applying tint in a bright clean shop and cupping his hand beneath the slightest drip of soap that threatened to touch the interior.
Hmmm... I bet it's important to apply tint in a bright clean shop, so you can see what you're doing.
Instead I dealt with Cadasse, whose shop is as dim, dingy and messy as his attitude and professionalism is poor.
