i could not thank this bar staff enough. i had a tinder date and he didn't show, and this older man was flirting with me and making me feel uncomfortable. the bar staff noticed and kept tabs on me all night. i was waiting for my uber and they provided someone to look out for me, and when the uber came the security said "i'll see you soon babe, get home safe". they insured my safety at the bar and to get home safe. i will definitely come back, and i'll come back with a trustworthy person, but for my first time they went above and beyond for my safety. the staff here are fantastic. as far as drinks and food go? also fantastic. but the staff really took care of me in a way that i only hope to reciprocate. read more

I have come into this place at all hours from First call to Last call - The staff knows what customer service is. Castus Moon is always a great place to relax for any reason. It's clean, spacious, lots of games and attentive staff. They have so many TVs you can watch any sports game possible and great beer prices. I was presently surprised since it doesn't have the best curb appeal but once you walk in it's HUGE. There's an upper and lower area with tables for 4-6 so it's great for larger groups. I like the atmosphere and the service here. It is your sports bar and more. The Happy Hour is always good here. I like the managers meal specials they have during the week. The food has always been awesome. The drinks are always what your looking for from beer to a hard drink. The more the server knows what you like you will get it. Stopped in here Friday 6/10/11 for Breakfast. I had read reviews saying how good their Biscuits and gravy were. Sadly I didn't agree with the other reviewer. The Saloon as a Sports Bar looks AWESOME and I can't wait to come back here to get my drink on. Their menu was pretty good and I'm sure they have great omelette's and scrambles but this is about the biscuits and gravy ... Service was OK not super fast not super slow. They had a decent amount of people in the place at 9am on a Friday morning. I placed my order and it came out in a reasonable amount of time. My plate was covered with the standard two biscuits cut in half and well covered with Gravy. So good so far. The Biscuits and the Gravy were warm to hot. The temperature was almost perfect. On to the taste. I don't like canned gravy. Chef's Mate from Costco leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Sadly this is what it tasted like. If i was to guess the Biscuits AND the Gravy are from Costco or some other restaurant supply store so its just a heat and serve item for them. Quick and easy for them ... bleh tasting for me. I might return for breakfast but not for the Biscuits and Gravy! read more

When I lived in Everett this was one of my favorite places to go. Tons of TV's for sports action, along with a plethora of pool tables. I loved the bar staff. Being a regular in any establishment is fun, and they were always enjoyable, and made the experience tons of fun. When I come up to visit they still comment on losing my debt card -- which they made up for. The food is standard bar food. It's not bad. I tend to keep with the wings, usually naked, but the sauces are good as well. Just a great place to go grab a drink after a long day of work. read more

I just went to the Cactus Moon for the third time because I really liked the the food, service, and atmosphere the first two times I went, that was NOT the case today. Apparently the bartender had been arguing with the cook and she was telling her regular customers all about it. When my food arrived I could tell that the cook was angry too because my hash browns we're undercooked and very greasy. The bartender never stopped complaining so I left. I hope the manager keeps track of Yelp reviews and will talk to the bartender who worked on May 4th at 10:00 AM because she's hurting a good business. read more

This is one of my mine and my hubby's favorite places to chow! The food is great (the cheeseburger and southwest chicken salads are a MUST to try). The friendliest people staff the place and are so attentive! I saw a poster below saying he had troubles getting waited on, and the only time we've had that issue was on the $5.00 burger night, and it was VERY busy. For the MOST part I like this establishment with the exception of one of their bartenders, Britta , she will pass you by 4 or 5 times without even paying attention to customers needs ! And then towards the end of the night she will slide you your tab indicating that it is the end of the night and then proceed to serve 2 or 3 other customers 25 minutes before last call ( 2AM) !!! Piss poor service on her part if you ask me !!! And then for other bartenders to come to her defense claiming that I was "nagging" her about "last call" was indefensible !!! We go here occasionally because it's close to home. In the last few months it seems like the quality of the place is lacking. Last night we came in, sat down and started a game of cribbage. Waitress comes and takes our drink order and leaves a menu. When she brings the dricks she asks if we are ready to order, I ask for a few mins. 45 mins later we have finished the drinks and our game, haven't had return visit from the waitress. She and others on the staff walk around chatting with select customers and ignoring the rest. This seems the norm in the last few months. Food is good but not the service. read more

Came here years ago and said I'd never be back simply because the place was a dump. We'll have it a shot for lunch today and seems they have cleaned it up a bit. However they still have some stuff to change. For example the bathroom stall walls are higher than the toilet seat. Ha doesn't bother me until you realize that the position of the stall allows people sitting in a couple booths out front to see butt to seat contact of whoever is on the can anytime that door opens. Food was ok at best, not the greatest quality ingredients. Prices are high for what you get. This place is one of the few, barely acceptable places in Everett, WA, that can be caled a "sports bar" and I mean barely. Food is Denny's quality, I have had better a Jack-in-the-box, often the the sound is WAY TO LOUD!. This place is crawling with "regulars" who get 5 star treament, expect to get, 1 star, if they do not know you or you do not work at Boeing. Drinks are over priced and mixed drinks (the staff, do NOT know) how to make mixed drinks, beyond, rum and coke. Often very crowded, with regulars, that are often VERY LOUD and RUDE. AVOID this place, as cops stake it out and pull people over, plus, backed up to a really bad neighborhood, watch your car. Break ins. read more

We're not really into Sports Bars, but we were looking for a new place to go..so my husband found this place right here are Yelp, so we thought we would give it a try...and we did, 3 times over Memorial weekend. First was Friday night.. Hubby order their Prime Rib Special. Nice steak, a huge baked potato, salad bar and six fried prawns, all for $13.95. I ordered the Wings, and a Cesar Salad. The wings are served naked with sauce on the side, very tasty. The salad was huge, more than I could eat, and very good. Next time, I'll take his prawns and salad bar..and we'll be set. They pour a very good drink..at a good price. Sunday we went for breakfast. I got the veggie/cheese omelet, with hash browns, and a biscuit. One of the best breakfasts I have had in a Long time. The omelet was just the right size, (3 eggs) the hash browns were crispy, and the biscuit was light and fluffy. Hubby had the Burger steak, and pretty much cleaned the plate. Monday, we went again..to lazy to cook at home. M-F they have breakfast specials for $3.95. I had one egg, to hotcakes, a slice of bacon, and one link. The pancakes were perfect..just the right size, about 4 inches..not the ones that are as big as your head. Egg was cooked just right, and the sausage and bacon were good also. Hubby had the biscuits and gravy with two eggs. The gravy is over the top good. Perfect size breakfast, for a great price. We have found a new place to go!! YAHOO! The staff, is very friendly. I own a restaurant in Idaho and I'm in Seattle for cancer treatment. I was shocked at the horrible service. I'm out for dinner with my sister. All of the regulars are getting great service. But when i got there i didnt receive good customer service. The skinny old lady came up and asked what i wanted to drink. I said i placed an order of wings over the phone. She walked away and the guy working said it was a phone order. Uhh thanks for clarifying cuz she obviously didnt understand what i just told her. She put them on the table and handed my receipt. I come here a lot. It doesn't look like much from the outside but walk in and you are in sports heaven. 31 HD TV's everywhere. Nice selection of beer. They have all my favorite tequilas.
