They were all very drinkable which was nice but none I would search out at a wine store. Boyfriend tried the Cesear and found it "different" - it looked very dilute to me. Wound not get again. He also tried The Help cocktail - 8/10 not the best but not bad. For entree I got the Pork Schnitzel and he got the Wild Boar Tagliatelle. Pork Schnitzel: 10/10 was very happy with my portion, tastes, and flavors. 100% would come and get again. Wild Boar Tagliatelle: boyfriend was very happy with it. It tasted to much like classic pasta to me - smaller portion that I would have liked too - a handful more noodles would be good! Boyfriend was still hungry after his meal - so we got dessert. We tried Lemon Tartelette: 9.5/10, my only critique is that the tart was Very very small and hardly enough to share. Flavor was 10/10 and the raspberry gelato was 12/10 good. and Mango Cheesecake in a jar: boyfriend liked, but its cream cheese mousse and I Really do not like this - personal preference so I won't rate it. Boyfriend found it very filling/heavy but liked the flavors.

We all got different meals, many with slight alterations and all absolutely loved our food. As well, our drinks were delicious and our service was excellent. It is a little outside the center town of Canmore and seems to be a hidden gem. It is a cute lodge feel with a nice outdoor patio. Would come again on my next trip to Banff/Canmore for sure!

They do not have a designated parking space, but it's usually not too hard to find some angle street parking nearby. They are a smaller establishment, so reservations are highly recommended to avoid disappointment; that being said, we were very lucky on our recent visit on a busy Saturday night as we were able to get seated at the bar right away without a reservation. The ambience is unique, with red lights that dimly light the space and small bar lamps at the tables. The bar we were seated at had a wavy counter which was aesthetically pleasing, but a little impractical as there were a few times I nearly dropped my cutlery/plate/cup due to uneven spacing. They offer clean, spacious gender-neutral bathrooms, which is always great to see in Red Deer.  As for their food, we ordered their Seoul Searching flatbread and Bœuf Bourguignon. We weren't particularly blown away by either dish; tasty for sure, but also nothing memorable. I personally found the Bœuf Bourguignon had very little meat, but the house-made bread was a nice and fluffy accompaniment that soaked up the flavours of the stew really well. The Seoul Searching flatbread comes with chicken, kimchi, mozzarella and gochujang sauce and was on the spicier side compared to what I expected. I did wish there was more hints of sweetness with this flatbread, which would have made it more representative of the flavours typically associated with Korean cuisine, but that's just my personal preference!

However, everything we had was really good. Great cocktail and wine list. We had the lemon devilled eggs and two flatbreads. Really, besides a salad and another flatbread that was pretty much it to choose from. The flatbread base was awesome. Fro sure we enjoyed the mushroom flatbread much more compared in flavour than the potato and procuitto. Really nice vibe in there and great friendly service. We will be back for dinner where there are more choices available.

Lovely pours of interesting wines, fine specialty cocktails, a bunch of shared plates that included flatbreads, olives, charcuterie, cheese and ultimately a couple of dozen oysters that disappeared almost before the server was able to make it back to the kitchen. What's more to like? Especially nice touches on the oysters that sat on a bed of sea salt with toppings available that included fermented horseradish, a nicely seasoned jalapeno puree and a red wine reduction to perk up the briny little invertebrates. Yum. We did not mess around, spared no overindulgences (burp) and still barely managed to spend $300. Yes, that's a lot of money, but when something is this well put together, very well worth the price in my opinion. And when you're spending that much, any sin gets pointed out in great detail. No such issue. Love to return here and concur with fellow Yelpers the strong rating for this venue. Highly recommended.
