Quick and Delicous Italian with No Pretentions at the Windmill Food Court Came on a lunch Wednesday to the Windmill and saw the Cacio sign, and my immediate question was "How's the cacio e pepe?" Well, not bad at all! Caio e pepe. Sizeable portion for one. Comes with a breadstick a la Olive Garden (but slightly better in taste with a nicer texture not too hard or soft), so you should be set. My pedestrian tastes recommend you order it with a coke to counter the aggressive cheesiness. And that's what it is: your simple cheesy noodle dish with a pepper taste. Italy's answer to our Mac and Cheese, it's just so pure and basic, but when executed well, it's great. They do this one well, having just enough pepper and good helping of cheesey goodness with its shards of Parmesan and some melted cheese at the bottom. (Comes with a sachet of grated Parmesan, which I added because cheese.) Disposable plastic ware, but can be convenient to go, and because it's a food court, right?
