If you're a fan of Venezuelan food (especially cachapas, the most magical of all of them), then you definitely have to visit Cachapeishon. They have a huge variety of combinations of fillings, but I prefer the classic, with cheese. They are huge (definitely enough to take home leftovers, though I usually force myself to eat all of it in one sitting because it's so delicious in the moment). Add in the super refreshing papelón con limón, and you have a perfect meal.
I recently visited during a weekday lunch and got the menú del día. For 11,50€, you get a cachapa mixta (with cheese and your choice of another ingredient, from meat to fried plantains), along with a drink and a dessert. Like I mentioned, the cachapa alone is enormous, so the menú del día is a great value, and you will definitely have dessert to take home for later! The tres leches cake was perfect a few days after our visit.
