The owner contacted me and now I know it's definitely a lie and not confusion or misinformation. He claimed that "New Age Care Center" cultivates and distributes under the name Pura Vida Tres, Inc. So, I simply lookup Pura Vida Tres, Inc through the Bureau of Cannabis Control and CalCannabis. They have no "New Age" dba. Their DBA is PureLife Alternative Wellness Center. It's a dispensary that grows their own cannabis. So, I called them up and found out that 1) they don't even sell Gorilla Glue and 2) they only sell the cannabis they grow through their own dispensary, not wholesale or to other sellers. Carl, if you're gonna lie to your customers, at least make it a lie that can't be fact checked. read more

Best dispensary on the west side. Great selection, cool knowledgable staff, always a deal on good flower to be found, never a long wait. This is the only dispensary I'll use anymore. Great Venice vibes read more

This place is refreshing compared to past experiences. Been here twice so far and both people that helped me were extremely knowledgable, honest & nice. The woman's name was Sarah and I didn't catch the guy's name. They were both extremely patient and answered all of my questions. The place was clean and had no seedy vibes at all..... which I didn't even think was possible. The second time I came here I had recently had surgery and my mom had to take me and I asked her if she wanted to wait in the waiting room. She declined because her knee was bothering her but regardless/ It's a place you could bring your mom too! The selection is good and their prices are fair. They don't seem to carry some of my favorite edible brands but next time I'm going to make a request. Nice vape selection that the staff actually knows about! Never had a problem with anything leaking, breaking, ext. I've never received a "free gift" of a joint or crappy pipe or something of that nature but they do give out free, normal, fun sized candy out in bowls on the counter. For me, I'd rather have a couple packs of hot tamales than a crappy joint! I've worked in the service industry for over 15 years and I hardly ever feel the need or urge to write a good review, but this place was exceptional. Parking lot in back, only downside is the traffic on Lincon. read more

Super helpful staff, both Dylan and Sarah made sure I got the edible gummies I love when they came in stock. And they're always willing to talk about the different strains and brands and make suggestions. I like that the price is all-inclusive, too! read more

Was visiting from out of town and decided to visit CAC. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, he was very knowledgeable and laid back. I never felt rushed. read more

Great place, great stuff, great people, and great price! Very friendly and helpful, quite welcoming to a first time visitor!

I've been a cannabis consumer for years & have been employed in this industry for a handful of years as well. Many of the stores I have been to in this area have this attitude that really turns me off as a customer, but here I feel welcomed and a member of the team. I love shopping here when I'm in Venice. They have the best prices for concentrates and a great selection of live resins! read more

I have been to quite a few venice dispensaries and have finally found a great one. I come from out of state and was happy to finally find an honest spot. read more

Best Weed Shop, Best Prices, Lowkey, Quick In and Out. I Absolutely Love This Shop. Where Else Can You Find Bomb $25 8ths?

very disappointed, went to CAC last week on Tuesday, bought medication, was charged the price shown $25. Great! went back few days later, same medication purchased from same guy Jim. Was handed my change & the medication & I left. When I got home, my change was a couple dollars off. Looking at the receipt, wow, again, Im charged more the second time? I was charged tax the second visit. Why isn't the pricing here consistent? I have no problem paying the price, just charge the same thing each time for each person. When I called to ask why the difference in pricing, I was told "Oh, we gave you a break the first time"....sigh.....anyone else have the same issues with being charged different prices? read more

Wow! I'm sure this is a woman ran business, which is dope in itself, the best customer service, and great vibes as soon as I walked in, I was a first timer but it didn't feel like it! Will be returning! read more

Over the course of the past 18 months, I have visited over 100 dispensaries from the San Fernando Valley to San Diego County. This is the best dispensary of them all, in my opinion. Three reasons why: 1) The emphasis here is on the word medical. The vast majority of product is labeled with THC and CBD content, including the flower. 2) They grow their own plants, so the same strains and approximate equivalent strengths and ratios are consistently available. That is a huge advantage for the patient that prefers flower and needs consistent dosing. 3) The staff really know their stuff. They are adults. Most other dispensaries skew toward the youth lifestyle cannabis user. A commitment to medicine is reflected in their knowledge, kindness and compassion. read more

I've been going to CAC for 13 years. I'm a bread and butter client. I'm there almost every week. I'm sad to have to give them a bad review. I purchased some edibles today and got the wrong kind. They are a Xmas gift so I needed that particular type (kind for sleep). It was my fault for not looking at the product before purchase. I came home, saw the mistake and returned within 30 minutes. I was willing to buy a more expensive product to exchange. They said no edible exchanges at this time. They've lost a good client. I'm gonna miss them. Nice people. read more

They changed the name and they changed their inside again. It looks great. Same great bud and some new stuff too. They have a big selection of wax vapes too. read more

This was my first collective to visit so I was nervous, but the sign in the front said friendly to women so I thought I would try and see what that meant. It was very nice, they were friendly and taught me a lot about the medicine that I should take. I'm not sure if the prices were good but my boyfriend said they were. They have strains from Amsterdam but I don't know what that means so... Oh, they knew my name up stairs, I thought that was cool so I'll go back. read more

This is the BEST shop in Venice. The budtenders are honest, knowledgeable, cool, and their prices are way better than other places in the area. They have all of my favorites like Smokies gummies, Kiva chocolates, Honey vapes, and a huge variety of weed and topicals at fabulous prices. Their bud is always fresh, there's a variety of strains at different price points. Even the lowest costing strains are very good quality! I seriously love this store and will be stopping by every time I'm in Venice. read more

CAC is fantastic. My go to. Extremely friendly, knowledgable and helpful staff. Great selections and the fact that you can see lab tests and pictures of where your medicine is coming from is great. Highly recommended. read more

I just have to update my review since I'm a regular customer there. I LOVE the staff. It's always the same people, I feel super safe and they are legit! When I walk in there I'm excited to see them and I feel the same in return. They also are ORGANIC and have paper work telling you exactly what strain works with what your looking for. This place is for QUALITY!!!! They prepackage everything which makes going in their a breeze. Gez I love these people, so happy I found an awesome dispensary close by. Enjoy! read more

Love the spray at CAC. They are always very kind and helpful. They assist with anything you may need. Great great spot.

EXCELLENT ALTERNATIVE TO MEDMEN ON LINCOLN!!! I was a long time patient at VBC (more than ten years) just south of this dispensary. Unfortunately, they sold out to a corporate chain (MedMen) and their excellent genetics disappeared overnight, replaced by a weird, $tepford vibe. So I gave VAC a shot and have found my new home for affordable, TOP SHELF GENETICS. This is a group taking pride in their strains and it shows - I've enjoyed solid versions of gorilla glue, private reserve, Alaska blue ice and more...all excellent. Be clear, this is a very non-corporate, accessible business not trying to dazzle you by copying an Apple Store's design. It's "Venice" as opposed to "Si-lincoln Beach". It just depends on what type of vibe you're looking for. But this place is the real deal for cannabis connessieurs. read more

This place is the best!! I've been to a bazillion dispensaries and these guys are the most personalized. Old school Venice, knowledgeable, friendly. This is the spot for locals. LOVE. read more

Professional, friendly service. Safe place, very friendly to women. It's a small place but with a good vibe. The knowledgable staff is nice, helpful and patient. The prices are good and the selection is very good. They have an extensive selection of edibles too. A very good all around dispensary I will continue to frequent. read more

Best service anyone could ask for. They're so compassionate and professional its crazy. Huge selection of great meds and plants from seed not clones!!! NICE!!! read more

I learned a lesson going there . Don't trust any of their bud tenders they told me I was getting a OG Kush discounted because it was the smaller buds . I then asked about the Quality she once again said it's the smaller buds . It's packed and sealed allready once I got in the home and looked at it . They completely gave me some of the worst smoke I have ever had . And to think All of the shops Venice are shut down because of the new laws . So they don't have to be doing shady things like lying about the product we spend our money on . read more

Rad spot ! Friendly and knowledgeable staff ! Thanks Sarah for all your help ! Will definitely be returning !

I've been going to this local dispensary since I moved to the neighborhood about a year ago and always have the best experience. Aside from having a variety of great products, the service is always exceptional. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Their price points can't be beat either. Definitely my go-to spot. read more

Everyone was so helpful! I wish weed was legal in Chicago (where I live). The staff member was so friendly and informative. She helped me pick out 2 awesome strains which smelled delicious. One was the sativa strain Purple Haze and the other was a sativa dominant hybrid called Critical Jack. I also bought some delicious edibles- vegan chocolate covered fruit gummies, chocolate covered banana bits and white chocolate stars. Lastly, I purchased this very rad vape pen and a Pineapple Express cartridge. I'm very satisfied with all the products I bought. I didn't know how to work the vape pen so I came back the next day and they were very helpful in explaining how to use it! I hope to move to California soon so I can shop here regularly! read more

This place is horable never waste your money where you are not treated as a valued customer. Yesterday I purchased some Larry og was told by bud tender it was some of their best flowers. When I went to go break it down in my grinder to my surprise I found lots of seeds in the flower now all smokers know that seeds is not something you want to see when buying the suppose to be top shelf in the shop. So the next day I return to this place to voice my disappointment with my purchase only to be told by Sarah that it happens sometime WTF really no it doesn't maybe here it does she offered no solution to accommodate a customer who was not happy with his purchase. Bottom line this shop is straight steeling money and could give two you know what about how the person spending his or her money feels. Don't spend dam near 20 bucks a gram for seeds all in your flowers stay faaaaaaar away from this place they are out to make money not take care of patients. read more

This is local gem ! Friendly, helpful and with top notch quality standards. Jim is the man!

I was registered with this Collective and very happy with their compassionate care. On Christmas Eve Day, I went in with two problems that had me very upset. I needed one more contribution of mercy medicine so I could make it to city to do banking and my phone was dead and no one could reach me and pick me up. They gave me medicine and told me I could charge phone.Their outlets were trashed so I couldn't plug in my charger. They offered to let me make a call to check my voicemail. A foreign man in the lobby I had never met offered this help. At the same time,he was treating me as if I was creating a disturbance and deliberately took every calm answer I gave that just checking my VM would be fine until I could find a place to charge my phone. The guy doesn't give me a phone. He gave me more aggravated attitude so that he threw me out, out of the collective, onto the street and acted as if was calling the police on me. What a horror. read more

The most professional dispensary I've been to. Friendly people, solid meds, and they know their stuff. GREAT edibles!

This place is super legit. First dispensary I ever went to, and couldn't be more happy with my experience over all. The shop is very relaxed, featuring a cozy display area for the products. Jim, the man who helped me with my purchase, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was quick to answer all of my questions and really made me feel at ease with the whole process. The goods? Great! Private Reserve was on point, and it's nice to know the products are lab tested. Good vibes all around from this place. 100% will be back. read more

I have been going here for years. But I'm done. I just wanted to get in and out, but the sloooooow process downstairs was ridiculous. Almost 20 minutes to renew, to find that they raised their prices and had to indure the owner blabbing for over 15 minutes about how this is the first legal dispensary in Venice and all the other ones are illegal. I have better ways to spend my time. read more
