If you're a certified diver, and you visit Cabo, make diving there a priority. It's not every day you can dive w/ sea lions, humpback whales, and mobulas - all 5-minutes off of the beach. Because the ocean life is so fantastic - and because Cabo thrives on tourism - a million people are to approach you, offering scuba and snorkeling excursions. Seriously. Someone will try to sell you a timeshare, then pot, then invite you to go whale watching and diving. I'm telling you this because avoid the noise and GO IMMEDIATELY TO CABO DIVER. I've been diving several times in Cabo, but dive master/owner Colleen & boat captain Angel are in a class of their own. They take the experience to a whole new level. They're so much fun to be around as people, making you feel like a lifelong friend within 5 minutes of meeting them. But - most importantly - they are fantastic at their jobs, and clearly love/respect the ocean and marine life. After carting my crazy family to several dive locations, adding 4 extra, unplanned hours to their workday, Colleen and Angel took us to watch the sunset by the arch and to see a mother humpback whale helping her calf. They should have been tired and ready to head to shore, but they made our enjoyment their priority, without us even having to ask. Thank you so much, Cabo Diver, for giving us the trip of a lifetime. I'm already planning my next vacation!
