Please save your money and book a Jet-ski trip elsewhere. After rushing us through the initial…read more"damage checks", we went on a 30 minute Jet-ski ride. Upon returning, the manager of the booth claimed we had crashed 2 jet skis together, a claim that was denied by the worker who was with us on the water! Obviously, we did not crash the vehicles, and if we had, we would have understood the extra charge. The owner stated that we would be charged an extra $500, and refused to give back the credit card until we signed for this fraudulent charge. He then asked if we wanted the police to become involved, to which we responded yes, as we knew we had done nothing wrong. However, he refused to call the police, and kept the card locked in a box that he kept on him. It was clear he threatened the use of police to intimidate us into signing the enormous bill. It is sad that there are people out there that are so willing to rob others, and lie blatantly to their faces. Please save your time and anguish, and book elsewhere. Would give 0 stars if possible.

We did two excursions with our cruise line that was coordinated with this company…read more The first we did was the electric bikes on the beach. The tour guides were great. They helped orient us to the e-bikes and helped us when we were having trouble staying steady on the bikes, especially on the loose sand. We also did a second tour the next day with the camel experience. It was very nice. We got to take pics with the camels and take a ride on them to the beach. After both excursions we had a Mexican lunch that consisted of mole chicken, ribs, rice, beans, salad, veggies, watermelon, fries, fried chicken tenders, cheese tortillas, beer, margaritas, tamarind water and hibiscus tea. At the end of the e-bikes we had a brief tequila making session at the end with tastings of tequila. After the camel experience we got a tutorial on how to make a corn tortilla like they did back in the day and tequila tastings. We got a chance to buy pics but it was super expensive. The first day we paid $60 to get pics and a video of the excursion. Today we paid more than 3 times that amount for pictures and video after the camel excursion. I asked why and they said it was a different event so the prices differed. If pics were not expensive as they were, I'd say this was a top tier event. The tour guides, food, drinks and experience were awesome!

My relatives recently gifted us with a dolphin experience in Cabo and unfortunately I did not do my…read moredue diligence and read these reviews from my fellow Yelpers before our trip. The company Cabo Adventures is a total scam and preys on vulnerable families. I will NEVER use them again for any other activity despite us coming to Cabo every year. I encourage every one from Yelp not to use them as well. Each ticket cost over $200 per person to be part of a group dolphin experience. This is not even private. A child MUST be accompanied by an adult so that forces more people to join. You think after spending over $800 for 4 people they would treat us like royalty right? WRONG. They do not mention any photo pricing online because they don't want to scare you away before you purchase your tickets. But let me tell you, it's an all or nothing photo package (you cannot pick a few or buy per picture) and it was over $500!!!!!! The b*tch working at the photo center must get off on making kids cry because when you call her out on the ridiculous prices, she shuts off the computer, takes her booklet, and says "ok good bye, there's the door". They do not negotiate at all because they know you have no other option. It's truly heartless. How insulting after we just spent $800 just on the tickets for a 30 min SHARED experience. They allow observers who are not doing the dolphin experience but they conveniently put them far away from where the dolphins are so it's impossible for them to take any pictures or video. Note: females you are NOT allowed to have anything in your hair such as hair ties or clips which there is no mention online or even when you check in. They don't give a reason why and it really sucked because the day we went it was super windy and our hair went everywhere ruining a lot of the photos plus making it hard to see in the water with hair in your face. My poor daughter had to take out her cute braids :/ Many other great and reasonable experiences. Go elsewhere and do NOT support Cabo adventures. Shame on you guys. UPDATE: I'd like to respond to the manager Lorena who tries to justify these ridiculous prices instead of listening to her customers' feedbacks and making adjustments. No, it's not optional to get the photos because what's the point of doing this experience if you do not have pictures to keep as memories? Yes, I understand there's safety regulations about not having cameras with us in the pool but forcing bystanders not in the pool to be over 100 ft away to take pictures which will be blurring, you leave us no choice but to purchase the photos. Nobody is asking for free photos but charging $500 is a scam. Even Disneyland only charges $80 for unlimited photos for a whole week! And respect gets respect. After spending over $800, YOUR employee is the one who was disrespectful to me first with her attitude about the price and not even trying to talk to your supervisor or work something out with me. Clearly, you only care about profit, not about customers leaving happy or having a good experience.

Searching…read morearound for a dive outfit that could provide Rescue Diver certification (also requires that you have a current CPR & Emergency First Responder certification) was challenging. Most could do the diver part, but not the CPR/EFR training. Luckily, these guys could do both of the trainings. I had a different instructor for the EFR training (Fabian) and the Rescue Diver training (Ariana). Both instructors were very knowledgeable, provided good training, and answered all my questions. They provided kind but constructive feedback to make sure I understood the task being performed. Although these training courses helped prepare me and certify me, and I did feel prepared, it was without a doubt, that continued practicing will be vital. I rented equipment from them for the training. The wetsuits I tried on were in good shape. The BCDs were also in pretty good shape, but they only had a limited amount of sizes to choose from. I ended up with a mask that was a little too big and leaked while under water. Regardless, those are easy fixes for this dive shop (although costly). Like most of the Cabo San Lucas dive shops, these guys do not own their own boats. Part of my training included a simulated use of first aid gear on the boat. Upon checking the rescue kit, it was found that some of the items were either expired, spent (previously used and not replenished/replaced), or missing. My dive instructor and I were very concerned with this and informed the boat captain who provides dive services to multiple dive shops. This of course, is not Ninja's responsibility. However, they do carry the PADI 5 Star rating...to me, that should mean that I can rely on them to ensure that all the necessary safety protocols, including those on the boat, are provided. I could tell that both my instructors took this lapse very serious.

We did snorkeling, the Arch tour, and several other activities, and every part of the trip was exceptional. Maria, our guide and marine biologist, was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge of the ocean and marine life made the experience so much more meaningful, and her calm, patient approach made everyone feel comfortable. She took extra time with our son, who is neurodivergent, helping him learn how to snorkel and making sure he felt safe and included throughout the experience. Her kindness and professionalism meant so much to our family. Our captains, Freddie and Adrian, were equally outstanding. They were skilled, friendly, and made us feel safe and well cared for the entire time. The whole crew worked together seamlessly to create an unforgettable experience. This was easily a 10 out of 10 experience and one of the best family adventures we've ever had. We highly recommend Cabo Trek to anyone visiting Cabo. This tour company is timely - after checking in we were asked to be back by 8:55am for our 9am tour, and we were walking to the vessel very shortly after. We wanted a tour that included the Arch and whale watching. We chose this tour as opposed to another tour that we were considering because there was more than 20 minutes of whale watching, and this tour WAS WORTH IT!! Towards the end of our time we'd located a small group of whales that were showing off with belly slaps and breaching...and our guides stuck around so that we could see them repeatedly so this instead of rushing us back to the pier because we were at time.

I contacted them to cancel multiple times more than 24 hours in advance of our scheduled tour, but they refused to refund our money. Knowing it's a 20 minute walk from the place where the cruise ship tender drops you off to the place where the tour boats dock, we decided to scout it out the night before. The email from the company instructed us to check in at the Roger's office ("kiosko 2") to ensure we got the correctly-fitting snorkeling gear, so we went looking for the office using a map from the Roger's website and Google maps. We tried inputting the exact address from the email and asking everyone we could find at Puerto Paraiso mall, but when we went to the alleged office location, nothing was there. As a last ditch effort, on the way out of the mall, we paused and asked a random guy at a booth with ads for tours (mind you, nowhere did it say Roger's on it)! This booth was NOT located in the same spot indicated in the map on the Roger's website. However, this guy was somehow able to look up our reservation, and it was legit because he knew my name even though I never said it. He told us to just meet at the dock the next day - not to even worry about going to the "office" (wherever it may be). So that's what I would advise any future travelers to do - just go to Dock D, which isn't hard to find. Ahead of time, I had emailed the company and asked if I could add additional people to our tour and how to pay for them. I received a response indicating we would need to pay 35 per person and they could either send me a PayPal account to put the money in, or we could pay at the dock. When we got on the boat, we inquired about the two extra people and were told to pay 40 dollars. Thankfully I had the email from the company and I disputed this. I was given a roundabout explanation about how the corporate office is somewhere else in Mexico and sometimes there's miscommunication. This felt like an attempt to con more money out of us, but to their credit, they did honor the emailed price. The tour itself was great. We had Jonathan as the guide and Memo as the boat driver. Jonathan had great English skills and was knowledgeable. Our kids got to drive the boat, which had them laughing hysterically. They also dropped a couple members of our party off to snorkel in a designated spot, and the snorkel gear they provided seemed nicer than the cheap stuff we brought. At the end, they offered to drop us off closer to the cruise ship to help us avoid the 20-minute walk, but said it would be a $2 dock fee per person. We did take them up on that, as we had small kids in the party and didn't want them to have to do the walk in the hot sun. They do take pictures during the tour and offer you the chance to buy them at the end. Technically this is mentioned on the website, so it's not surprising. However, I will note that they offered us a discount on the photos at the end if we left them a review - lowering the price from 80 to 50 dollars. So, take that into account when you read other reviews. We declined. I recall when I was researching tour options that some other customers had mentioned their tours being outsourced to other people. There is definitely something odd with the "company." It presents itself on its website like a small business and frequent references are made to "our boat." But when you get to the dock, nothing says "Roger's" - no signage, no uniforms, etc. There's also more than one boat - another party was checking in at the exact same time as we were with the same people. It's almost like they've been bought out by a bigger conglomerate of tour operators. Perhaps this explains the conflicting information in some spots (i.e., the email confirmation saying to check in early at an office but a guy at a random kiosk that doesn't say Roger's on it somehow having our reservation and telling us to just go to the dock). Overall, we enjoyed the tour itself, but the issues with finding the location and being asked to pay different fees than we were quoted were off-putting.
