Still, I'm a big online fan because otherwise I can spend half a day looking for somewhere to eat. And the online menu does say they love people with allergies. However there is no mention of gluten or gluten free on the menu. Maybe this is related to the tightening of Australian rules into "gluten friendly" rather than gluten free. Since their specialty is hot sandwiches, I'm up in the air on the gluten front. If they will allow choosing from the sides and extras menu, that would be perfect. I also like how many of their prices have stayed reasonable, with five dollar coffees, I don't know if I can eat them but their egg sandwiches for Brekky look positively dreamy.

We were seeking coffee and breakfast before embarking on our (mini) rainforest expedition. I got an espresso with condensed milk (forgot its name...) and a ham and cheese croissant. The croissant is ok, I suppose you can't really go wrong with ham and cheese. The coffee was really strong, and the bitterness lingered even after I mix it with the condensed milk. It wasn't bad, just perhaps a tad strong for my tastes. This is a small shop with a charming atmosphere, and I am also letting the quality stuff slide a bit because it is pretty far outside a major city. It is a decent place to stop by because you are surrounded by tourist traps anyway.

They also sell the locally produced Teas & Tisanes teas, who used to have their own emporium in Wentworth Falls. Walls covered in teas to buy and a cafe if you can't wait. The abovementioned is a mix of black tea, cactus blossoms, amaranth, mango pieces, pomegranate blossoms and ground chilli pods. A little light on the chilli for me, but a swoon-worthy fragrant cup nonetheless.
