The kitchen looks great but they DID NOT PULL PERMITS! I got in trouble with the city because replacing a sink requires a permit. I called customer service and they did nothing about it. They've done thousands of kitchens and have never pulled a permit. Going to report them to the Better Business Bureau in Texas State board. read more

Buyer beware. My wife and I are building a new home. We submitted plans to C2G for a bid. It came back the highest of our bids ~49k installed so we just said no since we had another bid for ~37k installed. They txt me stating they can meet prices if we submit proof that we are getting the job done cheaper. We sent them the bid and they basically said the other company is cheaper because they are 7k less for labor and they came back with 39k and no installation. We waited a week and a half for this. I then asked the manager why if the original price is 49K and he subtracted the labor and assembly of 16k wasn't my cabinets alone price 33k. They called me back to beat a bid and win my business and subtracted labor and added ~6k to the bid for just cabinets. Garret the manager would not answer why and just repeated I will ask corporate. He had some great suggestions that I would not of thought of myself. We purchased cabinets (for both kitchen and laundry room), the hardware, quartz countertops, sink and faucet from them. The entire experience was seamless. Garrett was great about communicating and the contractors for the countertop and installations were awesome as well. I decided to stop by this place to look at some cabinets, as soon as we pulled up, we could see someone sitting in a rolling chair get up and take off of out of sight. We went to open the door, LOCKED at 5:15pm. We tried calling a few times before to speak to a sale associate, we got their automated answering machine with the hours stating the store was open until 6:00pm. If this is any sign of their customer service, you shouldn't buy from here. We definitely won't be buying custom cabinets or granite for our kitchen remodel here. We decided to go with Premium cabinets off of W. Rhapsody, a little further drive but walked in, greeted right away and he started sketching out our kitchen with us with a 3D rendering tomorrow, best used 45 minutes ever. DON'T BUY FROM HERE. FORMALDEHYDE So, long story short. We bought cabinets from here because the price was a little lower than Lowes for a similar product. We worked with a sales rep (they are kind but controlled by corporate, who is rude) to design our kitchen cabinet layout. No one ever told us about there being FORMALDEHYDE in all of their wood products. I had my toddler with me that day when we bought them and we received no verbal or written warning. Then, we received the boxes of cabinets on the pallet and there were warnings on every box. it says warning: causes birth defects, cancer and reproductive harm. I am newly pregnant and this scared me for the health of my baby. I called the company trying to send them back, and not risk my babies health. The store says they can't do anything. Then I get the RUDEST call from corporate Sonya, she was condescending and pretty much told me she doesn't care about our situation. If we want to return them then we have to pay the 25% fee- over $1500. And that I should've looked up the warnings of chemicals (that I had no clue about) online first. Money hungry company that uses unsafe products and has the worst customer service. I would never recommend them or use them again. I saw the warnings in other bad reviews, and I should have listened. I have worked in customer service for over 30 years. This has to be on my top 5 worse company's to work with. Charge for product and services before you ever receive it including labor. So far when all is said a done 5-6 weeks before I can have a working kitchen. If you like not having a kitchen this is the place to be. I can't believe they make you pay for labor to install granite 5 weeks in advance and still not installed. Make sure you shop before you buy. Because after they have your money they do not work with you. I have tried to talk to corporate about the situation and they won't have anything to do with me and send me to the office in Selma. I would not recommend this company to anybody. I went into showroom on 1/21/22 to begin. Paid in that day and have regretted it ever since. I still have no useable kitchen. It started with cabinets that were in stock and than were not. Cabinet installer who was overbooked so cabinets sat in my garage for 2 1/2 weeks. Now the day before countertop install they discovered they do not have enough granite. The excuses are ridiculous. Do not ever use them. Originally I was told it would be done by the end of March. We went with this company because Alison Victoria of kitchen crashers. on HGTV said they used this company for the shows cabinetry. We went to this store and ordered the cabinets late February , paid for half upfront as required. 2 Weeks later when the cabinets came in there was a cabinet missing, the installers could not put the pulls on the cabinets because there was one missing. Finally the "missing cabinet" arrived and was installed 2 weeks later. In the meantime we, the homeowners had to install the pulls so that the cabinets could be used. and there was a pull missing. I have made over 12 calls to this company and each time they PASS THE BUCK! I am told each time that they will order the pull and I wait and wait, but no pull arrives. Today was the final straw, I called again and got the Manager who said Fedex had delivered the pull on April 18th and that we signed for it! This ads insult to injury. If we had gotten the pull, why would I be calling??? Do not use this company! They are unreliable. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and no one takes action nor responsibility. Worst place to deal with. I went to the one in Schertz/Selma tx. brought my blueprints to purchase cabinets, countertops, flooring installation and delivery. Derick figured it up and got manager Garrett approval. Both said everything was paid in full as I paid total amount that day.I just got home received call they need another$3??.00 and they repeated now paid in full. Had trouble getting cabinets in emails said delivered to Schertz store but when I called told not in. I then received 2 other bills stating they needed more money as figured wrong etc. I had to pay it or they would send cheaper stuff or I could cancell order but be charged restocking fee etc. I paid them. Then they did not order enough handles or any transition strip for flooring. They did pay for that after much hassle. I now have 12 boxes of flooring left over I returned 10 and was charged 25% restocking. Cant wait to see what happens with countertops. We should have known that a store that's a poorly modified purple garage in middle of a severely pothole-filled parking lot is not going to provide quality service, but because of the HGTV connection we over looked it. Cabinets were ordered in June. We're still waiting in October. The sales people are woefully inadequate--they take your money and then fail to deliver product. When the product arrives it's scratched and/or broken. We've called and called and called and called ... and we're still waiting. Every time it's a series of phony apologies and lengthy excuses about "Thursdays, Trucks, no control over anything ... etc., etc." The absolute worst experience we've had in dealing with custom cabinetry. I'm only giving one star because in order to give a review I have give at least one star. Today my husband and I went into Cabinets to go with the hopes of ordering cabinets. Upon walking into the store, the sales person at the desk did not bother ask us if we needed any assistance. He hardly acknowledge us. A few minutes later another couple walked into the store and he greeted them and got from his seat to assist them right away. He got out brochures and prepared himself to assist the couple. I can't help but to think that it was the color of my skin that prevented him from offering me the same customer service. Everything was perfect. Dennis was very easy to work with, no pressure and extremely knowledgeable. He made some great suggestions and helped us design a gorgeous kitchen. Dusty and David did a flawless job on the installation to include modifying a cabinet for a built in microwave. They insisted on coming back out after the microwave came in just to make sure everything was perfect. We're remodeling an entire house and they were hands down our favorite contractors we've worked with. In addition we received a phone call from the business manager Brian to make sure we were happy with everything and to assist with the installation if we decided to do it ourselves. When my husband and I first started building our house we visited several cabinet providers & found that the customer service at attention to detail provided at Cabinet's To Go seemed to be the best. Donna (Selma, TX Store) spent hours with us making a plan for our kitchen, laundry room & bathrooms & we love the cabinets. However, when our cabinets arrived and we attempted to mount the 33" farmhouse sink into the 33" cabinet base that was ordered - we recognized a problem and called the Selma store to discuss (Saturday June 11th). Donna worked to find us a new cabinet - 36" and we were told that the soonest we could have one shipped was July 1st. We were panicking about this because without this particular cabinet installed, we were delaying the plumbers/counter top vendor/final inspections/tile/& cleaning vendors. So Donna called all the other cabinets to go stores and found a sink we could have by the following week (June 13-17 timeframe). So we pushed back all of our vendors by a week and waited on the 36" cabinet. The cabinet never came so we called the store and were told various things: "it should be here this week" "I can't get a hold of anyone at that store" "I sent several emails, I will try calling them" - Just this week I followed up with Gabe twice per day every day (June 27-30). On Friday (July 1st) we were told that they could "overnight" the cabinet but it would cost $150-$200 BILLED TO US. When I went to pick up our cabinets on July 2nd - which an hour away from my house with a 10 month old in tow - surprise surprise, the cabinet was never overnighted. When I spoke to Gabe (who I had called twice to speak to that morning before I drove to the store but he was always unavailable and never called me back) he said that "Martha?" never responded to his emails?!?! I have no idea who Martha even is. Ok - so the cabinet we needed overnighted was supposed to come from a store in Detroit. "Did you call the store in Detroit Gabe?" NO. So he calls the store in front of me and they never overnighted anything and now the soonest we can get the cabinet (because it's a 4 day holiday weekend) is July 7th. When Gabe spoke to his regional about why "Martha" never responded to calls or email was, "oh they don't respond on Saturdays" even though the stores are open???? With nothing left to do, I decided to pick up the rest of my cabinets and come back on the 7th for the "overnighted" 36" cabinet. Low and behold - in addition to the problems with the base cabinet - we were missing the 3 cabinets that I had a claim out on (because the faces were broken when I received them). These included a Replacement face frame for the -33"X96" oven cabinet, 15"X42" wall cabinet, & a 24"X42" wall cabinet. Keep in mind this claim was submitted on June 7th (ALMOST A MONTH AGO! - Claim number 903582528). Also worth noting - we were told these were ready for pick up as well. When I went back into the store to talk to Gabe about this, he said that the oven cabinet is actually on back order and they have no idea when it will be in. After submitting a customer service complaint we received a call on Monday July 4th. The customer service representative apologized for everything and said she would make sure the 33" farmhouse sink base was overnighted. We received the base cabinet that Wednesday July 6th. Ok - so where are the rest of our cabinets? After calling several times & following up both with the Selma store & the Customer Service department, it is now July 16th and we are still missing 3 cabinets faces. Save yourself the trouble and don't make the same mistakes we did. Spend your money anywhere else besides Cabinets to Go. Even if you have to pay more, trust me...it's worth it. I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. read more

I wish I had posted my review earlier but I was hesitant to post too quickly after we had these cabinets installed. First off we had a good experience in the store in Selma. Donna helped us design our new kitchen layout design. She was great up until we paid for the cabinets. They came in as expected and we picked them up ourselves. Several pieces were damaged as we discovered as they were installed by our contractor. More on them later. I emailed Donna asking for the doors that were damaged to be replaced. She doesn't respond to emails like I said once the cabinets are paid for .....so I ended up calling. We recited the replacement doors with no issues. I emailed her previously asking about the size of our sink cabinet. Again...ZERO answer. I was ordering a farm sink .so I really needed to be sure I had ordered the right size. She finally responded I nce I caught up with her BY PHONE. She said she thought the sink would fit. It didnt. Luckily my husband is very handy and was able to take apart the sink cabinet and basically cut it to fit and then rebuilt it. It turned b out just fine. Inside the store in Selma, C2G had a business card for a cabinet installer. We used them to do the install. Another HUGE MISTAKE. They installed our kitchen island crooked and cut our pantry cabinet doors so that we could access the electric plug on the wall. The hole literally looks like a 5 year old cut it. They told us the screws they received from C2G were wrong and they needed to reorder them. Later my husband discovered the screws were just fine....they just didn't realize it. Over the past month, some 9 months later, several of the cabinet drawers have fallen off their rails. I've had 4 fail so far and I blame the install. We have no children at home so it's Def not the way we use these cabinets. So overall of I had to do this again...DEFINITELY NOT using C2G and DEFINITELY NOT their installer cintractor. The cabinets are pretty but the rest of the process just ducked and it seems like once your money is received they don't know you. After looking around and getting frustrated with how expensive cabinets are at your larger big box companies. We were happy to stumble on cabinets to go. From the beginning we were treated great and Gabriel was there to walk us through the whole process. When working with a budget as we were we are very happy with the final product. Everything was ordered to spec and delivered on time. Even though assembly is needed it was not hard or time consuming. We totally are happy with our choice and with everyone that helped us there. Bought 8 base cabinets for a kitchen rebuild after a mold issue was discovered and fixed. The cabinets came in 3 weeks earlier than predicted and were very easy to assemble. I have assembled IKEA cabinets and furniture in the past and these were much, much easier to assemble. The quality is excellent, with plywood cases and all wood face frames and drawers. The folks were very helpful with any design needed. I will definitely consider Cabinets to Go for my future kitchen and bath needs. Highly recommended. read more

We ordered cabinets in November 2015 but due to various reasons we had to have them hold and store our order until April 2016. They were gracious and did not charge us a dime. When we finally got the cabinets Ricjardo and his crew-recommend by cabinets to go picked up the cabinets in Selma and brought them to Austin at no charge and installed them on a Sunday. If you plan to install the cabinets you are a fool-it is well worth the cost to have them installed professionally. I am a good DIY guy but I could never got the cabinets installed like these guys. Do not use this company! We ordered our cabinets months ago and paid in full. We only received part of our order and call each week inquiring when we might get the remainder of our cabinets. Donna tells us that they have no way to track our order and it shows "fulfilled" on our order that we are still missing half of our cabinets. She tells me each week to feel free to call back next week each time we speak. Today I contacted the Corporate Customer Service. Still no resolution. We purchased our cabinets from the Selma, TX shop a little over a year ago. We assembled and installed them ourselves. We haven't installed the crown molding yet. I requested an installer to install the crown molding. They provided a number and I left 3 messages and never received a phone call. I called the Austin, TX location to see if they have another installer who can install my crown molding. I did talk to this person approximately 3 weeks prior to when I wanted it installed. I sent him pictures of my kitchen cabinets and the number of sheets, which 3 pieces of crown molding. He originally said he'll put me down for Friday afternoon. I followed up with him and he said to contact him Friday at noon. When I contacted him, he was unable to do the job. Saturday morning, I text him again to see if he was coming out and I never heard from him. I was trying to get the crown molding installed while my husband was out of town as a surprise. This was a cash job and if I knew he didn't want to do the job 3 weeks ago, I could have tried to find someone else. Very disappointed with the installers at Cabinets to Go. They need to find someone who is honest and wants to do the job. Will not recommend Cabinets to Go to any of my friends looking for cabinets. read more

Bought 5 cabinets for bathroom renovation. Received them as agreed within 2 weeks. Problem was ALL 5 cabinets had some form of issues. Arranging from warped side panels, to chewed up wood pieces, to unfinished panels and over sized parts. This is from company that advertises quality cabinets. I received junk cabinets at cost of $3000. Hey...I believe in giving a company a second chance to fix it. Dumb me! I was told the parts would be received within 2 weeks and it's been over 30 days and still no replacement cabinets. Just found out it will take another 2-3 months before they "think" they will get a new batch in. Upon requesting a full refund, I was told they will be holding back 25% of for "restocking" of damaged cabinets. What happened to CTG policy 100% customer satisfaction or your money back? It takes the CEO and district director and customer service manager to sign off on a refund? Wow! didn't realize how small this company acts except when it comes to taking your money and giving you crap products. There is no escalation within CTG to have issues escalated for resolution. Customer service reps communication lacks due to ignoring of emails and phone calls. Yes..this company duped me into purchasing cabinet products that was substandard and continues to deceive the public by removing any unfavorable post on facebook about their products or company.
