So, we decided to build our own custom table. Based on the wonderful work that he did with our kitchen, we went back to Jonathan to see if he was interested in taking on the project. He said "yes" and went on to help us build the most beautiful walnut slab table (105 inches long/42-50 inches wide). It consisted of two bookmatched walnut slabs, each weighing over 200 lbs each. It was a more difficult project than Jonathan expected due to the size of the wood pieces, but he did a great job of finishing the wood so the beauty of the walnut really shined through. We collaborated from start to finish, from picking out the right slabs to finalizing the cuts and the degree of "polish". We're thrilled with the results and look forward to having large dinner parties (as long as our friends don't scratch the table :))

The showroom had thousands of samples (not like the big box stores) the samples were not the tiny ones either. Your showroom time is by appointment only, so I was the only one in there being able to take my time and not be distracted. You will feel no sales pressure, someone breathing down your neck to make a sale. If you had a question Beatrice was in her office ready to help. Of course I did do a price comparison with the big box store and paid maybe $50 more, but what I received was well worth it. The edge I really wanted that the box store didn't even offer and J&B agreed to take out my old countertops a week before so that I had time to fix the wall where the splash guard went. I did not want a splash guard this time, so fixing the wall was needed. I was told by the box store that their are not many laminate installers left. Well let me just say Johnny is a true craftsman his measurements and install were precise. Oh and don't forget to bring in a rough stretch of your layout with measurements so you can get an estimate. I had picked the Formica Wide Planked Walnut grain wood finish. You would not believe how real they look, without the maintenance of real wood This is my first review ever so after being so wordy my bottom line is they are an excellent company.
