We have worked with a number of designers there and they are all knowledgeable and easy to work with. This time we got to work with designer, John Epperson, who was adept at executing our vision for our kitchen with the new island and refrigerator cabinet they made for us. Chris Holt came over twice to 1) confirm measurements before install day and to speak with my husband who built the soffit for over the fridge cabinet and to 2) direct the installers about how to ensure the fridge cabinet's fit. They were patient with our questions and changes along the way, happy to entertain our input. Our kitchen looks awesome now despite some outstanding finishing touches needed that they are helping us with. Then, Jeff managed the project and the builder Josh provided multiple photos and detailed daily updates--as well as pleasant and engaging on-site discussions. The craftsmanship, problem-solving, and fairness in pricing is unmatched. One important part of the project was an outdoor sauna, shipped from Europe. The team took this on to build the kit, wire the heater and lighting, and make it a centerpiece on the exposed aggregate patio, along with a custom-placed hot tub that's accessible from ground and deck. The deck with a large, covered pergola will probably last for decades. Just a few more points...they ALWAYS left the site safe and neat each day, communicated what things were coming up, and overcame unforeseen site issues quickly in ways that made sense. The entire team is great to work with--honest, transparent, responsive, and collaborative. I usually have buyers remorse for any large purchase. Not with this one.

The transformation is genuinely dramatic. A few things stood out beyond the work itself. Julio refused any kind of prepayment and told me I could pay when the job was done. He was on site the day he said he'd be there, and the day after. The final bill matched the estimate exactly. We recently had the extreme pleasure of working with Tim, manager of Cabinets To Go, to do a total remodel of our 23 year old kitchen. Tim was amazing to work with! He was extremely competent and very knowledgeable about every product he carries in his store. He was easy to reach anytime of the day, and if he wasn't available when I called, he got back to me within the hour. If I had a quick question his competent staff was always able to help me. As with any remodel things don't always go as planned. Three of our cabinets came in with the wrong doors. The problem was handled quickly by our contractor, Tim and the warehouse. Even with that small issue the contractor continued with our floor, keeping things moving along. Brian Stoner was the contractor Tim assigned to our job. He and his team showed up every morning on time with a smile and cheerful disposition. Brian and his staff were polite and hardworking. At the end of their day he went over the work that was done and what he would be doing the following day while his team swept my floors and cleaned. They built the cabinets in my garage and even left that space clean, as well as my driveway. Brian also has vision. He came out weeks before the job and made suggestions we never thought of that improved the look of my kitchen. We have kept Brian's number and will use him exclusively for future work. Samuel Donovan was the electrician that Brian recommended to us. He was a carbon copy of Brian! Competent, professional, hard working, neat and great vision. He came when he was supposed to, easy to reach and put together an amazing lighting system consisting of recessed lights, under counter lights, pendant light over the sink and a fixture over our island. We also will use him exclusively for any future electrical work. Our countertops are to be installed in a couple of days by Bella Stone and we've been happy with all that they've done as well. We are a one income family and live on a strict budget. I had a small budget to work with and can tell you when all is said and done all involved stayed within my budget and I even have some money left over for Christmas shopping. Just wanting to spread the word that if you're looking to remodel a kitchen ( or build a house, as we are), that you owe it to yourself to check out Cabinets To Go on Dues Dr. in Cincinnati. On the recommendation of our contractor, we decided to drive to Cincy and see what they had to offer---and I'm so glad we did! We met with Tim Meisman, the store manager, who took my blueprints and designed a kitchen to our specifications! Because we live over 100 miles away, Tim and I emailed back and forth numerous times, as we would change our mind or decide to add yet another upgrade. Tim was very accommodating, always willing to provide us with another kitchen layout or design until we found one we absolutely loved! Fast forward a few months, I ordered our cabinets and they were ready for pickup in less than a week! My son and I assembled them ourselves with no problem at all! They just take some time, so we did ours over 3 evenings. Everything was packaged well, no missing screws or pieces, and the cabinets, themselves, were flawless!! We are very pleased with the customer service and all the personal attention we received! These cabinets are of a very good quality. The face frames of the cabinets are 3/4" solid birch. Sides, backs, and bottoms are 1/2" plywood construction. The shelving is 3/4" plywood ----- no MDF or particle board. And because you assemble them yourself, the price is 30% or more off of anything else around! We priced cabinets at other places and they couldn't begin to compete with our price from Cabinets To Go! We should have our cabinets installed in the next week or two and can't wait to see the finished product! Thanks again, Tim, for all your help. The store manager, Tim, at the Cincinnati location is amazing! He designed our kitchen with complete thoroughness and space efficiency! In my cabinet search (which has taken well over a year to complete), I have worked with Menards and Home Depot. At Menards it took 3 hours to design my kitchen, where with Tim's efficiency, he had me out the door in less than an hour. He is incredibly professional and very easy to work with. I brought our design in to have cabinets ordered and was excited to get a price way lower then the big box stores. The cabinets arrived and we were ready to install when we realized I had made a mistake and this design would not fit our space. The store manager Tim jumped right in and told us not to worry. He came to our home and remeasured to make sure things would work out. He made a few design changes, exchanged a few cabinets and made everything work to our satisfaction. We shopped around a bit and found that they were cheaper than the big stores, and Tim went above and beyond to help us create our new kitchen and answer our questions. Used Contertops & Cabinetry By Design a few years ago. Went to the office in Florence, KY and…read moretalked with a sales person at that time. We purchased a new countertop, new sink, and new faucet. I was looking for a less expensive faucet but the sales person persuaded me into buying the more expensive one, saying that if anything went wrong with it, like leaking or dripping that it was covered for the life of the faucet and that it would be replaced with a new part by one of the people that work for Countertops & Cabinetry by Design without any charge. My faucet has been leaking, I contacted the company and told them what the faucet was doing, they order the part and had it sent to my house. I told Chris Holtz that I probably couldn't replace it myself and he said that it would cost me $125.00 for someone to come out and install the part. This isn't what I was told when it was sold to me initially. I have sent him multiple emails now letting him know that I am not happy with the service after the sale since I was led to believe if there were any problems with the faucet that it was covered and would be fixed free of charge. First request to them was 11/13/17. They responded right away with email back, but since I told them that I don't feel comfortable doing it myself, he responded that there would be the $125.00 charge to replace the part. I sent additional emails to see if they would fix but haven't heard anything back. So, I would not use the company again, and would NOT recommend them to anyone.

We purchased our kitchen counter tops through them in 2017 and have zero complaints. The process was easy and straightforward. We went out to Mont and picked out our exact granite slab. Their pricing seemed to be better than others we looked at as well. The reason I decided to write a review was because our 2nd time using them went even smoother. We are remodeling our basement and have a large bar top and a small counter top area that totals less than 25 sq ft. They offer 4 different quartz options for situations like this so we didn't have to go through stacks of remnants to try to find something. And again we were extremely happy with the pricing. Overall, we would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of new counter tops.
