It was a stormy day when I went and visited Adam at Cabinets Direct. Candidly I was the only one there besides Adam and another employee. It was pouring. Adam spent about 2 1/2 hours with me a beautiful kitchen and educating me on his products. His designs were excellent. The product line we looked at was a solid, mid-level cabinets and very affordable. I ended up working with a contractor who, of course had his own local cabinet person, and it was part of the package and price we agreed to. Candidly I think Adam's cabinets are better. But The contractor was pretty insistent that we use his guy otherwise he wasn't going to be responsible for that aspect of the project which wasn't in our best interest. read more

I purchased my cabinets from Cabinets Direct in Wayne, NJ after reading some less than complimentary reviews of a competitor that was located nearby. My wife and I met with Adam Eiland after being initiated to the process after visiting some big box stores and the previously mentioned competitor. While the cabinets are good/great, the service and effort that Adam exhibited was phenomenal. Adam worked cumulatively hours on our design, he improved the project after every iteration. While I am reasonable handy, I do not do kitchen renovation as a living, Adam does and because of his experience our final results no not look like a DIYer did it. What I am referring to is the little extras that Adam knew were available and how these small touches would impact the final results. If you are thinking of renovations and cabinets are going to be a component you should probably give Adam/Cabinets Direct ISA a call. You get what you pay for here. read more

One decision to go with Cabinets Direct was because they were promised in 4 to 6 weeks. They came in on week 7. There were some mix-ups with the cabinets delivered and trying to organize it around my job requirements is a major process. Had they come in on week 6, this would be so much easier. Also, I need door pulls and a piece of stainless steal behind the stove. Do NOT use Cabinets Direct. While they might have been better at some point in the past, this is NOT a luxury or designer kitchen and cabinet company any more. The communication is sub par, requires regular follow ups, they mis-measured our kitchen the first time (this is supposed to be their expertise!), and their "highest end" cabinets came damaged and incorrectly made despite specifications being correct. On top of that, Cabinets Direct did nothing to try and get them re-constructed and sent to us quickly, causing significant and unnecessary expense and time. Would never recommend or use this company. He was able to quickly reconfigure my kitchen cabinets to an optional design flow. There are many cabinet and countertop choices at his showroom. It was easy to get overwhelmed. Went to Cabinets Direct to purchase vanities for two bathrooms (4 cabinets total). Called and spoke to Adam who encouraged us to come in even though the store was closing soon and it was snowing. When we arrived, we told him what we were looking for and he showed us our options without trying to sell us on things we didn't want or need. He was very knowledgeable about the products and laid out all the pros and cons of each style/material/brand so we could make the best decision for our needs. Once we selected the cabinets, he sketched it out on the computer and showed us multiple configurations until we had exactly what we were looking for. At this point, it was well past closing and Adam never tried to rush us along. Even better, he made some phone calls on his day off to make sure the order was processed ASAP so our cabinets could be included in the next shipment to NJ. Customer service at it's best! As for the cabinets, they arrived this morning (as scheduled) and look amazing. We didn't go with a super high-end brand, but you certainly can't tell by looking at them. Plywood construction is solid, the finish is immaculate, and boxes were well packaged to prevent damage. We will definitely be returning to see Adam when we redo our kitchen this year. read more

I am very happy with my purchase at Cabinets Direct USA in West Long Branch, NJ. I was in the process of remodeling the Powder Room and needed to order a 48" Vanity. This would replace the pedestal sink that was installed by the builder. I called Cabinets Direct USA and scheduled an appointment with their Kitchen and Bath Designer (Melissa) who came highly recommended. She was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to design a new vanity that would look beautiful and fit perfectly based on the measurements of the room and layout of the plumbing. She even knew what size filler piece would be needed for the drawers to have enough clearance from the door trim. She suggested going with UltraCraft Cabinetry. After showing me many options, she suggested a door style and color (Pebble Grey with Maple Nickel Linen) that matched perfectly. She even helped pick out the hardware. The cabinets were delivered to my home in the expected time frame and were packaged well. I would highly recommend Cabinets Direct USA and Melissa to anyone in need of new cabinets. read more

Boy do I wish I read these reviews before I went there!!! HORRIBLE!! Cabinets arrived damaged. Even the replacement one was damaged upon arrival and when I spoke to the manager (Kim), he admitted that he knew the cabinet was damaged when he sent it and forced me to accept a piece of molding to cover the damaged area or cancel the entire order which would have delayed my project another 7 weeks or so, and I could not do that. The first guy brushed us off so rudely because he was with other customers and i so understand he was helping them but he literally said "those are the cheaper cabinets or if you wanna spend more those over there (points) are the more expensive ones" and just walked away saying nothing else. My family worked with Robin in creating our new kitchen. From the start Robin was extremely helpful and scheduled an appointment with her to design the kitchen in full. She spent a lengthy amount of time with us and answered every question we had. She also was prompt in answering emails which was very helpful for us during the workday.
