After a water main leak, our drain tile failed and our finished basement was ruined. Our house was sitting on inches of water under the foundation slab, which had no way to drain because of our dense clay dirt. On the outside, Tiger C excavated all the way down to the slab, put in a new drain tile, water-proofed the walls, re-worked our guttering, and buried it all back. This was all done without permanently removing our porch, deck, or HVAC. On the inside, they cut a trench in the concrete basement slab and installed a six inch drain line from the center of the house to the exterior. Once opened, hundreds of gallons of water gushed out for several hours. Tiger C was very hard-working, friendly, and courteous. They were conscientious of our property and our needs. Further, they warranted their work, giving us the confidence to rebuild the interior. I could not give Tiger C a stronger recommendation.

She recommended we check with Trindco for their remnants. I picked the Hubs up from work in Norfolk from VB and then headed out...waaaaay out to Suffolk. We got there at our appointment time and then waited...and waited. The whole process of picking out samples that we liked that checking to see if there were remnants available could have been streamlined greatly. Then adding to that, our woman took a phone call from her partner and set us back another 15 minutes (which was already pushing my husband's lunch break at this point). After we got the estimate for the bathrooms...it was more than our kitchen (which is huge and more square footage than all three bathrooms combed) estimate (non-remnant). The little showroom is nice and there are samples of various solid surfaces for you to see. They use Kohler for the faucets, I believe. The sinks are included with your estimates and a pretty good price. You may be able to find a deal out there, but we just didn't have any luck that day. The people were nice and the guys retrieving the remnants for us to see express their gratitude to my husband for his military service. Making the process of selecting samples and verifying whether or not there are remnants available in that size more efficient would help greatly. They do have a location near the Oceanfront but the remnants are in Suffolk. All in all, I believe others will have some luck going out there but we, unfortunately, did not.

My review of Trindco is a 1 out of 5, and here's why. I…read morepurchased countertops for two different households, spending a total of $13-15k. The product itself is very good, and the showroom staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, the company as a whole failed me during the second installation. During that install, one of the installers damaged an upper kitchen cabinet door--and I watched it happen. When I contacted Trindco about the issue, they took no accountability and refused to correct the damage. This is a direct, verbatim quote from their email to me: "Furthermore, because this is an upper cabinet, it sits completely outside our immediate active work zone." To be clear: once you step into my home, the entire home becomes your work zone, and any damage you cause is your responsibility. Their refusal to acknowledge this is unacceptable. Another major concern: Trindco requires full payment upfront, leaving customers with no recourse if something goes wrong. In my opinion, that practice should not be allowed. If you're shopping for countertops, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Trindco is not a stand up company, and my experience shows they do not stand behind their work.

When placing the order, I was told it would be ready within 2 weeks. At 2 weeks, I called and was told it would be another 2 weeks. (They didn't call me to let me know of any delays). Once again, I called them to find out the status, and once again, the countertops weren't there. Now, we're at 4 weeks for a 2 week order. My client is being patient, but they've got a torn apart kitchen. They're not exactly happy about this delay. We've already made a deposit to this company for half of the amount of the cost. They've given no reason for these delays. Once again, another 2 weeks goes by with constant phone calls by myself to them. Absolutely no communication FROM them. Finally, the counters are ready. BUT, no backsplashes yet....ARE YOU SERIOUS?????? Fine, at least the customer can use his kitchen. During this time, I have asked several times to speak to the owner/boss/manager and have been given several reasons of why I'm unable to, not in, fishing, etc. When going to pick up the counters, they weren't even all cut correctly. I could go on, but the long and short...A few days later, we finally got the backsplashes too. My customer had to wait a frustrating 2 months to get his counters finished and I have YET to hear back from this company boss. Oh, but the receptionist did say he approved $50 off the total bill........Yes, that number you see is the correct number of 0's. $50. He cost me about $400, plus the time, aggravation, and reputation, but he'll offer a whopping $50 for my time and the gas it cost me to make multiple trips to pick up the countertops. What a stand up guy.........NOT
