Our kitchen was originally designed by them 20 years ago, and to our delight, the very same designer, Leigh, took on our project once again. Leigh went above and beyond in every way. She worked tirelessly with the cabinet company to ensure we could get the exact replacements we needed, and her communication throughout the entire process was exceptional. She clearly put a great deal of time and care into helping us, even though this wasn't a large renovation job. Thanks to Leigh, our kitchen looks like new again--and we couldn't be more grateful. We highly recommend working with Leigh and Rhinebeck Kitchen and Bath for any kitchen project, big or small. You'll be in the absolute best hands.

Located at the Kingston Plaza in Kingston, NY, we came here for a color stain for raw pine doors we'd purchased at a door store. Herzog's is big- not Home Depot big- but it's got a lot of what you may need for home repairs. They carry lighting equipment, painting items, a kitchen+ bathroom design dep't, textiles, BBQ accessories, vacuum cleaners, gardening supplies, candles, some clothing- heck, even minimalist jewelry in a glass case, etc. My girl with the glasses in the paint department was smooth and patient. She took her time when we asked her questions about colors and how each color stain would react to raw wood. Service was fine, we left with smiles and was the opposite of everything that's been written here in the past. Located on Rt 28 in Shokan, NY, Door J. worked for several reasons: we knew we were getting solid wood doors, close to home and, we were satisfied with the customer service from the get-go when we first came here to inquire. Plus Door J., has an incredible stock on salvaged doors that come directly from suppliers. They claim their doors are "either overstock, inaccurate orders, or have slight cosmetic defects, but all the products are new and structurally sound". And if you can't find your door here, one will be ordered for you. That's what we did. I love our wide pass-through living room in our new home, but we wanted to have the option of closing it off if we want to- or keeping it open. Barn-styled doors was our go-to. Chris was super helpful the first time we came here and gave us a in-depth rundown about Door J. Do know, this place does not: (1)deliver and (2)install doors- because that's on you or your contractor- if you're using one- which we did. We were also in the market for slider windows for our basement and these folks helped with that. Because Door J. is an Andersen Window distributor, we were even more ecstatic that we could have our cake and eat too by ordering our barn doors AND 5 small slider windows because they seal tightly against air, water and anything else. You can go to Home D. or Lowe's. We're here because products are great and customer service rocks.

Who doesn't want to work with a much more affordable version of a "Chip and Joann"? We primarily saw and worked with Joe, while Karly is more behind the scenes. The work we had done was our two upstairs bedrooms, stuck in some unknown decade of quirky and mismatched. We were able to have our master bedroom vaulted and both bedrooms were repainted with recessive lighting installations. The Master bedroom was completely transformed beyond expectations and quickly become the favorite room of the house and the second bedroom/office is warmer, brighter, and cleaner. Joe and his team are honest, professional, and meticulous in keeping things tidy and organized. Joe is like that friend you haven't seen in a while and it's nice to have that level of trust when it comes to improving your home/sanctuary. We're looking forward to working with Eden again as we continue to make our home beautiful one step at a time.

I had a poor experience with the folks I hired to do the water mitigation work, originally planning to have them also do the remodel and then just really bad luck trying to hire another contractor-lots of no shows, or folks who showed up for the estimate but then not follow through when I tried to hire them. After all that, dealing with Joe was like a breath of fresh air. He came out to check out my space within a week of contacting him, took his time looking around and telling me his thoughts, which I appreciated. When he was a day or two later than he mentioned getting me the written estimate, he reached out to let me know. He followed up after the estimate, which I received during a super busy time personally, and I was ready to schedule the work but had to postpone, due to last minute travel for work. We agreed on a date after I returned, and again he followed up to make sure we were still on. This kind of communication has been unheard of, in my experience with hiring other professionals to work on my house, and I really appreciated it. Joe has been responsive, reliable, and friendly throughout, accommodated my work schedule and any interactions I had with his team were also fine. I'm very pleased with the work he did to restore my basement-it looks great and I can't wait to unpack all my stuff and start getting some use out of it (and also show it off)!! All in all, I would totally hire Eden again-and you should, too!
