Super friendly staff, and the store is so clean, always. Unfortunately, I can walk in looking for one thing and end up buying quite a few other things. They give a military discount if you ask for it, and thank you for your service. That's a plus, not to mention it's just the right thing to do and most people or places don't bother. Cabela's is pricey, but it's quality stuff. You get what you pay for, as I've always heard, and am old enough to know how true that is. read more

Small store don't have much inside. Make sure to call before coming the online inventory is wrong wasted a drive coming here.

8/10/2021 Very Friendly staff. I was greeted at the door and helped in the gun section. Ended up buying 2 boxes of ammo and the guy checking out was very nice. I asked if I could reset my semi sleeper time over night and I was told yes. I shop at my local cabelas in Columbus Ohio and will continue business with them. Any time I walk into Cabela's and look around at their firearms selection, I'm disappointed but not surprised at what I find. I went in 3 times within 5 or 6 days and only one person spoke to me. I never have anyone try to assist me on the gun counter. Guns and ammo both are expensive compared to competitors. Used firearms are attempted to be sold at retail pricing. The rack of used long guns out on the floor instead of behind the counter is nice because if it was behind the counter I'd never get my hands on anything on the rack. The main downfalls of this place are beyond terrible service and overpriced merchandise. read more

This Cabela's is new. They told me the opened five weeks ago. Great selection of outdoor gear. I was checking out camping gear and saw a propane stove at a good price. Entrance is alittle confusing. I saw the sign but ended up at Lowe's at first. You need to make a right before Lowe's to get to there tucked away spot. read more

This is the first Cabel's that I have been to that I was not allowed to bring my sporting dog into. My options were to put her in their crate in the back or leave her in the car. I would never put my dog in a crate that could have had sick dogs in it. Also, I would classify this as a micro store. I could throw a rock from one side to the other. Gander mountain across the way was much friendly, larger and much more selection. They also welcome pets, big sign on door. I can say i will not be coming back to this store. read more

This place is tiny, but otherwise alright, they have a reduced selection of most items, so while you may not find exactly what you're looking for, you will find something that gets the job done. The Gun and Ammo selection is very good for it's size, however the Gun prices aren't very competitive for the area. The knife selection is decent as well, and the employees have generally been friendly and helpful. Overall I'd have given another star if this location was bigger with the entailed better selection. read more

Went in today on black Friday was one of the first 50 in the door. Went straight for the garmin auto navigation system could not find it anywhere. When we asked a sales associate he tried to find it when he could not he got a manager (Jonathan). We where told there was a mix up and they received the wrong navigation system therfore they did not have the one advertised. We where a little disappointed but where told we could order it and shipping would be free. As we where shopping and waiting to purchase some guns Jonathan continued to resolve the GPS issue. He found us in line to purchase our guns with a navigation system he had just gotten in off a truck. He could have easily walked away and just told us to order it instead he went above and beyond to make sure that we had the items we wanted before we left by tracking us down in the store. Zach helped us with our background checks and despite slow systems from so many people purchasing he got us through the line quickly and efficiently. All in all this was one of the best black Friday shopping experiences I have ever had. I could not believe how helpful all the staff members where. I know I will be recommending Cabela's to everyone from now on!!!! read more

By far the worst Cabela's I have EVER been too!! Specifically states it's open until 9, got there at 8 and they wouldn't let us in they were closing. Would definitely drive the other 4 hours to go to the Lexington location!!! Stopped in this evening at 7:50 looking for new sandals. No one working in footwear . Asked a staff member if I could get help and was told they were busy with closing routine but she would get someone. 15 minutes later I walked out. Store hours are 9 pm. Also, I have been a Cabelas Club member for 8 years. Lots of other places to buy sandals. read more

They are overly proud of their merchandise and charge a lofty premium. Even their "sale" prices on firearms are much higher than what you can get online. Save your hard earned money and shop elsewhere. read more

Very poor customer service. Went to purchase a firearm and the sales associate would not assist whatsoever. Asked about price matching and the sales associate made claims against what Cabelas policy is. Ridiculous. read more

This is my 1st time at a Cabela's. Because it seems to be a store with quality products, I expected a decent experience. I must say the staff were, or at least tried to be helpful. It was frustrating because there were only 2 dressing rooms. When I asked "Are there only two in the entire store?", I was told "Yes, we are a small store". When I was ready to make my purchase, I headed to the checkout lanes. Only two lanes were open with about three customers in each. After waiting 5-10 minutes, I put my item on the counter & left. read more
