So I really wanted to like this place, however, they fell short in so many ways. I am a lover of vegan food, however, almost everything on the menu is processed or "beyond". We ordered the swoll vegan burger. Decent. Literally 3 pieces of shredded lettuce, old soggy tomato and hard bun. Also had the spicy chick'n sandwich. That had the same 3 pieces of sad lettuces strings and an old tomato, on a hard bun. The breading was so soggy that it literally began dissolving into the bread when you bit into it. Not remotely crisp. We wanted to sub a vegetable for the side of fries.. But there were none. Also, the side of fries isn't a side. It's actually an additional $6.50 charge. So the cashier slipped an additional $13 on top of our 2 sandwich meal with no drinks, bringing our order to a total of $49 When I asked her about the "side" she says "oh they don't actually come with the sandwich they are extra". We get the potatoes and they are old, rubbery and grey like they had been rewarmed 5 days in a row. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Save your time and taste buds. read more

I found this place while taking a stroll on Hollywood Blvd. I was craving a smoothie and they definitely satisfied that craving. It was delicious and refreshing. The service was super fast and friendly given that there was only one girl working the front. I also decided to try one of their pressed juices which comes pre-bottled. She ended up giving me the leftover smoothie in another cup which I appreciated. The smoothies and juices are $10 (extra for almond milk) and you can pick the ingredients. You can even add seamoss! Ordered online and picked up. My order was ready earlier than expected, so I didn't have to wait long. This little spot is well decorated. There is some seating but not enough for a big party of people. It's more of a takeout spot. My breakfast bowl was everything I would wanted in a breakfast. If I lived in the area, this would 100% be my go-to breakfast spot. The best meal they offer is breakfast. The fried chicken plate was equivalent to gardien patties battered. I wanted so much to like this place but for $25 you get translucent fries and small portions. The food here was soo good ! We had the shrimp and grits (shrimp would fool any non vegan ). It was served with cocktail sauce . I feel like everybody like their grits differently, but for me I would've like it to be creamier. They did offer vegan cheese, but vegan cheese just don't do it for me. The breakfast burrito was good as well and was served with salsa. Any condiments you want such as hot sauce or agave is $1 each. This place is amazing!! Like seriously. The food is delicious. I came here for breakfast while visiting home with my brother who is not vegan. You know the food is great when non-vegans love and enjoyed it too! The food is perfectly well seasoned (you can tell it's black owned...You know we don't skimp on our seasonings lol) I love that there's a large variety of dishes and flavors. I don't eat processed/fake meats so I was had to make modification to my breakfast dish (opted out of the meats and doubled sides) but it was easy to do. Don't skip out on the home fries/potatoes! My husband and I have been vegan for about 2 1/2 years - we have tried all sorts of vegan food, but this was by far the best vegan "seafood" we have ever had! The shrimp and fish were amazing; the "conch" fritters were yummy (and unique). The batter they use is crunchy and delicious and the sauces are tasty. I ended up getting the fried oyster mushrooms w/ rice, black eyed peas, candied yams, Mac n cheese and collards. Overall, I can say that the candied yams and collards were by far delicious! I will definitely be back for those two items. I was looking for a vegan Soul Food restaurant. I ran across C4Eat online. I love supporting up incoming Black Own business. My experience there was not the best. First we were told it would take 15min to get our order, which took about 25-30, minutes. The Mac and cheese was too watery, the black eye peas and candy yams, was muchy! The yams did not taste homemade. They tasted like canned yams and the rice tasted like it was spoiled. At dinner time we were told the Colard Greens were not ready. The juice for $10 a bottle is waayy over priced and not good. The only thing that was descent was the fried chicken. We left from there restaurant and went straight to Piccadilly, where we got a full meal and a drink for $33 for two people not over $60. I can say I will not visit this this restaurant again. This is a great little vegan spot I've visited while in Florida. I love that they have vegan soul food as well as fresh vegan food. The burger was amazing and I love the sauce it had on it. The french fries were cooked just right with a little crunch. Small space on the inside but you can also eat on the outside at the table on a nice day, they have misters. The place was totally empty (now I understand why). 2 food delivery service guys came in and got their orders while I waited. I totally get a delay due to delivery orders...but then a lady came in and ordered about 20min after I got there and she got her food before I did. When I asked the cashier why my food was taking so long, she said, "I don't know I'm not the cook." Brilliant answer that deserves an A+ for customer service!! I could have gone to the store and bought the ingredients and made myself a breakfast burrito faster than I got the burrito here (I actually almost did this before coming, but decided I wanted food fast so came here instead - BOY WAS I MISTAKEN). The burrito was actually quite good, which is why I'm giving 2 stars and not 1. It came with salsa, but I'd bet money that it was store bought Tostitos mild salsa.
