I got the build-your-own bowl and overall it tasted good. I liked that there were plenty of options to customize, and the staff was really nice and welcoming. What threw me off was that for a place positioned as a healthier option, I expected the ingredients to be fresher. I was surprised to see some of the ingredients come out frozen and then get heated in the microwave before being added to the bowl. That wasn't what I expected and definitely changed the experience for me. That said, the bowl was still flavorful and filling. I visited Lowhaa after searching on google for some healthy vegan food spots in Hollywood. Their menu looked pretty good so I thought I would give them a try. When I first arrived to the restaurant, I could see the menu posted outside, which is great because I could decide what I want to eat before entering the store. Inside the store is cute with motivational quotes on the wall and artwork featuring black panther and a Haitian painting. For food I opted to get the Caribbean Plant Based Vegan Bowl which I paired with the jerk and chipotle sauces available. I also got a smoothie I forgot the name of it but it had Oreo, banana, and almond milk. The Bowl was very delicious and packed to the brim which I loved. The smoothie however I wasn't a huge fan of I'd suggest trying a different smoothie other than the one I got. My friend got the steak quesadilla and by the way he was tearing it up, I'd say he enjoyed it lol. I enjoyed how everything was made fresh to order right in front of you. The server was very polite and answered all my questions and gave quick service. I'd recommend this spot. 8/10 read more

Had lunch here yesterday. It was a cute enough place and seemed to be very clean. I feel like they could have explained the menu a little better as it was my first time and I had questions. They have a pretty good deal where you can get a rice bowl with protein and several toppings plus a bag a chips and a drink for $17.50. I used the restroom also and it was very clean. I did have to put a new roll of toilet paper on but at least it was available there in the bathroom. read more

Easy 5 stars! This neighborhood gem is the answer to all of my lunchtime wishes! It's easy to get to, healthy, quick & everything tastes great! The staff here is so friendly & knowledgeable, you can ask questions & they are very patient. Several times, I've come & there's been a dietitian on site which is pretty cool. I have been here a couple times and have ordered different things each time, so far, no disappointment! Everything is cooked perfectly, seasoned and thoughtfully made. Besides the food & friendly staff, my other favorite part is the speed. They cook the food right in front of you so you know it's made to order but you still won't believe it because they prepare it so quickly! Take out, dining in, you can't go wrong with Lowhaa! The food is fresh and cooked right when you order. Do your taste buds a favor and go try it out asap. Still an under the radar spot, so when you go expect to order right away, I went around 1 o'clock, and had a salmon bowl that was to die for. I washed it down with one of their protein boost shakes, and was ready to tackle the rest of my day with no sluggishness at all. Really friendly staff, I cannot say more on how welcomed I felt. The manager was amazing. He was quick with the order and very social. It was a great overall atmosphere and customer service. It was a small local place which I love and i would go here again the next time I visit Miami. He allowed me substitute/customize my açaí bowl with the toppings i wanted since i was allergic to certain ones. He went above and beyond for my order and asked for my preference for everything to make sure he got it to my liking. I'm very happy with this place.
