Within just a few days of following the plan, I experienced a rapid decline in my mental and physical health, including severe depression, anxiety, and a resurgence of disordered eating thoughts. This was especially distressing after the progress I had made over the prior months. When I shared this with Kay, she adjusted the plan slightly, but it remained insufficient for my activity level and recovery needs.
