I'm no athlete, yet Kenny manages to work with my limited capabilities to get me stronger and more flexible. After little more than 8 weeks (despite me ignoring diet or aerobic exercise discipline), I managed to lose over 4% body fat working out three times a week with Kenny! I also lost over 2 inches on my hips-- and I'm 57! Now I am encouraged to keep going, to lose the weight I've gained since menopause, and to keep getting stronger and get my full range of motion back. With Kenny's training and expertise I get to benefit from diet recommendations (gum had carbs, who knew?) and yes, even aerobic exercise. I'm going to try jump roping with one that has a counter in the handle. I'm looking forward to being leaner and fitter in 2019.

The sessions were difficult since I hadn't worked out in a few years, but reinforced my thoughts that I needed to get back to the gym and I signed up for a year's worth of their small group training. I love the small class size and while the classes are tough, my body feels better, is definitely toning up and I sleep better too. I love the individual attention the small group classes allow and how they focus on different muscle groups each day. Every trainer I've worked with leading the classes has been excellent....encouraging and pushing me to increase my strength but modifying exercises when needed to avoid injury. I've just completed 2 months at Fit Therapy of Texas and am so happy I joined!

I have been coming to MBS Wellness & Weight Loss for about six to eight months now, and I can…read moregenuinely say it has been one of the most positive and life-changing experiences of my wellness journey. I have lost around 30 pounds so far, which has been such a blessing--especially as I'm entering perimenopause and was finding it harder to keep my weight where it needed to be in order to keep up with my family, my husband, and my son. One of the things I love most about MBS is that everything is rooted in the belief that our body is a temple. I truly appreciate that they incorporate Scripture and even give us a Bible verse to memorize along with a song to encourage us throughout our journey. That spiritual focus has been such a motivating reminder that being healthy is not just physical--it's emotional, mental, and spiritual. The entire staff is extremely positive, faith-based, and uplifting. Every time I walk in, I feel welcomed, supported, and surrounded by people who genuinely care. I also love the incentives and the fun little celebrations. When I hit one of my weight-loss milestones and got to ring the bell, everyone clapped for me, and it made me feel special and proud of the hard work I've been putting in. Even though I wasn't able to attend, I thought it was amazing that the clinic organizes group outings like the Enchanted Rock hike in October. It shows how much they value community and lifestyle, not just numbers on a scale. The weight-loss injections and B12 shots have made a huge difference for me, and even though I've always been into fitness and taking care of myself, MBS helped shift my mindset into living Holy & Healthy (H2). I feel stronger, more motivated, and more aligned with my goals than I have in years. I'm grateful for this place, the staff, and the atmosphere. I highly recommend MBS Wellness & Weight Loss to anyone who wants a Christian-based, positive, uplifting, and truly transformational approach to caring for your body and your health. -D. Houseton

The location is easy to find with plenty of parking. The office is clean and welcoming. All my appointments were the same, I walked in got my injection and left. I never received any kind of consultation to discuss my goals or what other services they offer to help me. The MIC injections made me very sweaty and made it difficult to fall asleep. They had a sign saying they had Ultra injections for buy 2 get 2 free so I purchased them. They gave me (dia)rrhea which left me very dehydrated all the time but after the 3 months of injections I still didn't lose a pound. The girls up front are very nice and the injections are painless when Diana does them. Unfortunate waste of money but I feel like an initial consultation and a monthly check up would help navigate better.

This place is truly life changing! I'm not just saying that because I completely transformed my…read morebody with the help of San Antonio Fit For For Life AND won a CAR in the process (keep reading until the end to hear more about the car)! I'm saying it because it's the BEST fitness program out there and is the best decision that I've made! Here's a little background: I first found out about this program from a close friend. I noticed that she was looking better than ever and asked what her secret was. Clean eating, a positive mindset, and the BEST fitness trainer was her response. My curiosity was peaked so I decided to check this place out for myself. I met the owner/ trainer, Nate Dilworth, who offered me a trial session to see if the program was right for me. Little did I know how much Nate was about to change my life. I began my fitness journey in May 2011 and I'm still going strong. About the program: This program isn't for everyone. When I say that, I really mean it. The trial session wasn't just to see if the program was right for me, it was also to see if I was right for the program. The main things that the owner looks at when accepting new clients are: 1.) A positive mindset and positive attitude. 2.) The true desire to do what it takes to get fit. 3.) A no excuses, only solutions way of thinking. If you can make it through the trial session without giving up, being negative, or coming up with excuse after excuse for not wanting to do the exercises, then you might make the cut. (Yes, they will modify exercises if need be due to a prior injury/surgery.) The owner is very selective, he wants all of his clients to be successful and have a positive workout environment. This program is not a quick fix by any means, It's a lifetime lifestyle change. This is how the program works: They provide a diet plan for you to follow and provide challenging workout sessions. If you follow the diet plan accordingly, you WILL have AMAZING results! Just in the first two weeks alone, the average person loses between 5 and 15 pounds. I lost 14 pounds within the first two weeks. Basically, if you put in the work and follow the diet plan perfectly, you WILL experience an incredible transformation. I must warn you, this is a positive energy only zone. They don't tolerate negative attitudes or negative talk. You must be willing to keep your mindset positive while taking part in the program. You must also hold yourself accountable. I love the program so much that I plan on being a lifetime member! My journey hasn't been easy, I had my setbacks here and there but I overcame them and I'm now looking better than ever. I'm so much happier, healthier, and sexier because of my decision to become a member. The program has truly changed my life for the better! Oh, and for those that are curious about my comment about winning a car, it's absolutely true! I mention this last because the main goal for joining this fitness program should be for your health and not the car..... although it's a pretty sweet added bonus! The additional rewards for getting fit at San Antonio Fit For Life: Every quarter they give out CASH prizes and award one well deserved client a brand new CAR! The winners are based on a points system that are determined by weight loss, accountability, referrals, and team work. If you feel that this program is right for you and you believe that you have what it takes to achieve your best body ever, send them a message either here on Yelp or on their Facebook page to get your transformation journey started.
