Planned for a surprise pole dance class for our bride to be and everyone had an extremely awesome time. Marisa does not ever come across as a judgy person and you feel comfortable with everything, though you may not know the moves at all! She made us feel beautiful and we had such a great time with bruises to commemorate this awesome session! I am not sure if it is because we had a small private party that it was not the studio as pictured. We were at Marisa's place which she converted an area to be a private studio with 4 poles. Though small, it was intimate and a great atmosphere - not to mention super reasonable pricing! The small routine she taught was sensual and challenging enough where you want to try it over and over again! The best part was she allowed us to bring/drink some liquid courage, which is super nice and accommodating considering we were here for a bachelorette party! Gorgeous place and amazing instructor Marisa! If it wasn't so far from me I would definitely like to take classes with her on a regular basis. If anyone asks me for a pole dance class recommendation, I wouldn't hesitate to suggest Spinderella or Marisa!!! Now...work it!

The flexibility class was great and so are the other classes I've tried- even ones that were definitely above my skill level. They offer a wide range of time frames for classes. Classes are posted two weeks in advance and do fill up quick but you have a good chance of getting off the wait list. The owner Alyssa and the other instructor I've seen are both super encouraging and refused to let me give up/watch from the side lines and gave tips on how to adapt moves to my skill level. I especially appreciated it in a particular class where I didn't think I was physically capable of a particular move and was able to get it with some assistance. I'll definitely be back and I also love that the classes in a package don't expire, which is great since its hard for me to find classes that fit around my work schedule and other classes. The class sizes are great (8 max for most classes) and the students have all been supportive and friendly.

I signed up for an introductory pole dancing class because it seemed fun and I wanted to switch up…read moremy exercise routine! It was a class that started at 8:15, on a Friday. The company sends out emails that gives very explicit directions on where to park and how to find and access the studio, in addition to linking a video with visual and audio directions, so I had no issues finding anything as everything was really well explained! My taught by Dani, who was a great instructor. Dani went around to sign everyone in, as for our pole experience one on one, so the class could be best tailored to all of us. We were also given a clean exercise mat with plenty of cushion, along with an ethanol spray bottle and towel for cleaning/drying our poles and hands. We then did a very extensive warm up to begin with, followed by working on a spin, during which Dani went around individually to everyone to give tips and help out with modifications as needed. This was very helpful for me, as I was able to ask explicit questions about what muscles to engage and general body positioning. Afterwards, we did a mini choreography a few times to practice what we learnt, followed by a cooldown. During the session, we were given ample opportunity for water breaks, along with cleaning our poles as needed, which I appreciated. The minor cons--the studio is extremely hot. As a result of this, there are several fans always blowing which is very nice, but they tend to be loud. That plus the music, which was turned down during instruction, made it a bit hard to hear Dani at times. Luckily I was towards the front, and didn't miss anything major for directions. The studio itself is extremely nice otherwise though! A great little cubby area for shoes and bags, and a couch/table for waiting for your class to start. The ambiance with lighting and music is also very nice, and there are mirrors everywhere so you can really see yourself getting into different positions. I had a really fun time at the class, and would definitely be a studio for people to consider if they're interested in one of their classes!

Then I took Pole L2 & L3 with Beau, who is a fantastic instructor! Turns out, we have mutual friends. The pole community is such a small world. Definitely more advanced of a class than I expected (good thing I didn't sign up for L4!) and enjoyed the safe and friendly class environment.
