Last weekend I need to get my nails done but I had class in downtown Toronto and I didn't want to pay a premium. Based on reviews and Google searches I picked Queen Nails and I was pleasantly surprised. Price: $50 for manicure shellac and basic pedicure. This was cheaper than my usually spots so I was very happy about that! Service: Andy did my manicure and Julia? did my pedicure. No complaints about my mani. Andy was patient especially when I switched up my colour choice on him a few times! My pedicure was a tad painful but that could be because my skin was dry / I hadn't had a pedi in a while. It felt like pinching when my cuticles were being cut so it was a bit unpleasant but she did an AMAZING paint job on my toe nails. Hands down one of the best pedicures, aesthetically. Love how they have drying spray too, since I was in a rush. Parking: a bit of a nightmare. You need to find street parking as the lot across the street is for No Frills shoppers only.

Two weeks after I removed the nail polish from my nails, I realized that the tech ruined my nails. Firstly, she buffed them incorrectly so there were scratches and slight grooves on the surfaces of my nails. My nails were not like that before she did my manicure. Secondly the cheap nail polish she used stained my nails pink. I went into another nail salon to see if they could fix the damage to my nails. Even the technician looked in shock when she saw the shoddy work that was done on them. I will never go back. I can't believe I tipped these guys. P.S just so you know they double dipped with the cuticle oil just as I was finished my pedi knowing full well that the brush was used on other people's feet. Trust me I won't go back

The store display was so neatly organized. I had booked a Facial for 50 Mins with Shannon. She spent a few minutes before the treatment going over all the facials they do and having a look at my skin to see which treatment would be better. We decided on doing the Vinoperfect Facial. The treat room was so nice and cozy, with a heated bed. The treatment was super relaxing with the hand/foot massage. I felt super light after the treatment. Took an extra few minutes to get out of the bed after the facial finished. My hyperpigmentation on my skin was instantly better, skin felt hydrated and soft. I need to book a facial again soon! She never touched my hips, neck, thighs, lower back, arms etc. This was the worst massage I ever had and I could've got my little cousins to do a better job. Each time I asked her to apply pressure she told me it's too difficult for her because I'm on my side. I'm obviously on my side because I'm pregnant and it's a prenatal massage. I'm not someone that's hard to please at all but I did inform the front desk it's a disappointment that I have to pay for that type of service. The front desk didn't bother to ask me any questions or seem to care, they just said to have a nice day. I met with Fernando who gave me honest feedback about what he felt my hair needed, including cutting a significant portion of it off to make it healthy again. Originally, the first availability they had for Fernando was going into November (for an evening appointment), and early October for a weekend. Fernando came over and squeezed me in a couple days later, which I really appreciated. When I arrived, we discussed the colour & plan again. He's very knowledgeable about colour and hair health. For a colour, cut (wet and dry mix) and blow dry, I was out the door in less than two hours. In total, I paid $180 (with tax).
