This bathhouse is modeled after a Russian Banya and contains a dry sauna, wet sauna, steam room,…read morecold plunge & bucket, resting/common area, and a dining room. With the entrance fee, you are given a towel, bathrobe, and a bracelet for a locker. You can also opt for different add-ons for your experience such as an exfoliator/scrub or a sauna hat. They do not offer slippers so bring your own if you prefer them. I found the saunas hot enough as I have a low heat tolerance. The cold bucket plunge was also refreshing after the sauna. The cold plunge is a well that states a one person limit, though many people went in with 2-3 people at a time. The entire atmosphere reminds you of a cottage getaway. Afterward, we went to the dining area where they offer complimentary tea at the cutest tea station. They also make homemade kombucha and offer pickle vodka shots. We ordered the borsht, cabbage rolls, dumplings, herring, and the sourdough pancakes. Right off the bat, everything was delicious. The borsht was probably one of the best I've ever tasted, especially with the sour cream and the tanginess of the broth. The cabbage rolls were juicy and seasoned well, the sourdough pancakes tasted like fried dough and had a rich buttery flavour as opposed to the sweet, cakiness you would expect from a pancake. But the most surprising was the herring, which came with pickled cabbage on top and was incredibly tasty. Definitely give this a try if you visit. The drinks were also made strong, despite the low price ($11-15 for a cocktail). We all agreed that we should return just for the food alone!

Scrubs are five dollars for purchase which actually is kinda crazy considering the size but I came for the full experience so you bet I bought one for the steam room. The sauna and steam rooms were INSANELY hot and the cold plunge was INSANELY cold. It was FANTASTIC lol! It was so foggy in the steam room I literally could barely see anyone else and my nostrils were burning from the heat. The water in the pool was nice and cold though and really helped keep cool in there. The larger sauna was super relaxing temperature wise and more for chilling out. If the cold plunge was too extreme there was also a chain and bucket that release cold water that was not nearly as freezing. There was a lovely cozy rest area with dim lights and a tv and in the nook of the dining area a plethora of stunning herbal, aromatic and fruity teas. As for the food itself, AWESOME. There were plenty of options for me as someone who only eats halal meat and has to otherwise be vegetarian or pescatarian in the event meat is not halal. I had potato pelmeni and the bowl was LOADED. I was in absolute BLISS. The mushroom julienne was a pool of cheese, cream and mushrooms, what was there not to like there??? The bread was the only meh part of it all. The sour cream cake was lovely and fluffy. Very homemade vibes. I loved the experience and would absolutely come back again!

A Truly Wonderful Experience Every Time!!…read more I've been coming here for years, and I can't say enough good things about both the location and my massage therapist, Jennifer . The atmosphere is always calm, clean, and welcoming--perfect for truly relaxing and unwinding. My massage therapist is absolutely incredible--professional, skilled, and genuinely caring. She always know exactly what my body needs, whether I'm dealing with tension, stress, or just need a moment to reset. Every session feels personalized and restorative. It's rare to find a place that consistently delivers such high-quality care and attention. I'm so grateful to have found this gem and will continue coming back for years to come!

I told the masseuse I want full body but to focus on my neck, lower back and hips. She spent the whole time talking about her Egyptian boyfriend that she's been with for a month, which distracted her from what she was doing. Next thing you know my hour was up and she only got to my back and lower legs? She never touched my hips, neck, thighs, lower back, arms etc. This was the worst massage I ever had and I could've got my little cousins to do a better job. Each time I asked her to apply pressure she told me it's too difficult for her because I'm on my side. I'm obviously on my side because I'm pregnant and it's a prenatal massage. I'm not someone that's hard to please at all but I did inform the front desk it's a disappointment that I have to pay for that type of service. The front desk didn't bother to ask me any questions or seem to care, they just said to have a nice day. I was looking forward to that massage all week because of these pregnancy pains...I still left there in pain and $120 less in my pocket lol not a good experience at all and I won't be returning. ...not to mention, their new rooms are as bright as they're shown in the pictures here. If you're like me and prefer the room to be dim and relaxing you won't enjoy that part.

However, you'll get a nice thorough massage from friendly staff without spending a ton of money. You can feel free to walk-in if you don't have an appointment and you'll be accommodated without an issue. Be aware though that it might be little harder to communicate if you don't speak Mandarin Chinese (though you can get by through phone translations or pointing at the product you want). Also, be prepared for the session to be a bit "rough" if you are not used to reflexology --- though you can request less pressure and more gentle massaging.

Went here desperate for some relaxation after a stressful few months…read more I received a very good reflexology massage and my legs felt like new afterwards. It was rough, but relaxing. Quite an experience for my first time. I also opted for an RMT session as it seemed reasonably priced. This was a mistake. The same woman who did my reflexology also did the RMT service. I was surprised when she walked into the second room. I asked her "you're the RMT?" and she just stared at me due to a language barrier. I just kind of shrugged and thought to myself "how bad could it be?". Turns out, very bad. It was a very rough massage with no particular skill applied to it. I was vocal every time it hurt by saying "OW", so thankfully she understood that word. There were parts that felt nice and others that were straight up painful. Yes, RMT sessions are painful sometimes. But skillfully/strategically painful. This massage was more just consistent friction, up and down motions and poking. I swear, once she headed for my scalp I was relieved because how badly can you mess that up... honestly, I thought she was trying to manually labotomize me. Crack me open like a coconut. This woman was not an RMT. As I paid, I noticed the photocopied RMT certificate on the wall. The name on the wall did not match the woman I had. The provided RMT receipt had the same wall name and was pre-signed by this unknown person in a different colour pen. All kinds of sketchy. I refuse to even send that to my insurance company and I will eat the cost due to my own sheer stupidity. A few days later I spent the money (a lot more actually) all over again and had an additional emergency session with a real RMT. He was shocked at the state I was in and why. Lesson learned = you get what you pay for, if it seems to good to be true, it is, etc...

The indoor hot tub and salt sauna were both quite spacious, and while the three outside pools were much smaller, they were great for working through the circuit of varying temperatures. There's also a dry sauna you access from that area. You get unlimited use of the facility for three hours, which is quite a good deal. We are big fans of nordic contrast circuits and have visited plenty of similar spas in various cities and countries. For the price, this one covers all the bases very well with few frills, and that's okay with us. The service was good, and the employees friendly, even if they did seem a bit overworked at times. This location isn't as luxurious in its other amenities as some other options in nearby Niagara-On-The-Lake, so if you're after a full pampering experience, you might look into one of those, but the much lower cost here made it a worthwhile trade-off for us. Plus the location is convenient to a lot of other sites and restaurants, and free parking is included. All in all, good facilities, good people, good price point. We will be back again for sure!

We both had our inferred session same day together Monday afternoon. He had his facial same day Monday-he said he really enjoyed it. He face was very dewy and moisturized . Pleasant experience. My spa session on Tuesday was good; I'm am so glad i booked early morning bc I had the place to myself for almost two hours. Remember I said petite.Yes it a cute space to relax is you have an hour or so. Tried the Himalayan salt sauna larger pool; open shower, dry sauna and hottest whirlpool(it was mild). The cold plunge whirlpool was good. I enjoyed my time. They have three whirlpools outside fits 4 comfortably maybe 5 strangers. I had them to myself so it was wonderful. Overall it was a great experience for me. They seem to offer full spa services from what I saw as I walked around. The spa gets a 4 star due to amenities cleanliness and offerings. Although small the space was utilized well. I very big on customer service and the Tuesday staff was clearly not morning people; thus the reason for the overall 3 stars. If you're in the hotel area yes visit during off peak times to have the best experience it gets crowded quickly due to small size.

Inside, there are 2 Finnish saunas, 2 Russian banyas, a large steam room, big cold plunge pool, hot tub, salt room, restaurant and multiple lounge areas. Value is the best I have found (I have also gone to the now closed Sanduny Sauna and Southwestern Banya). The change rooms are basic but you get a full sized locker. There are only 2 shower stalls and they only provide soap, so bring your own shampoo/conditioner. The lounge areas have free tea and filtered water. It's mostly muskoka chairs and a few lounge chairs. You can sit by the pool area (I enjoyed sitting there are seeing people's reactions to the freezing cold water) or there is a big back area with TV's or there are some other tucked away areas for something quieter. The Finnish saunas have higher temperature but lower humidity, so they don't feel as hot. The banyas are HOT. I started in the Finnish ones before working my way up to the banyas. They do not post the temperatures the way the Korean saunas do, so I have no idea how hot they actually were, but in one of them I couldn't last more than 2 minutes - I literally felt like my skin was on fire!! This place is for the serious sauna aficionado, for the people who go to the sauna at the gym and complain it isn't hot enough. The big banya has a bench by the entrance for venik (the leaves on a stick that you can ask someone to hit you with... look it up). They have buckets of water in the hall to store your venik so the leaves don't dry out. I don't think they offer massages right now due to staffing issues. The crowd was mostly men when I went on a family day. There were a few families with kids, although the kids did not go into the saunas. It seems like there are a lot of regulars and overall the vibe is friendly and welcoming. Robes and towels were in good condition and the facilities were clean. I was there almost 3 hours and saw staff walking around and making sure everything was in order. The restaurant serves Russian/Ukranian dishes like soups, pickles, perogies, etc. I tried the chicken carburek which was nice, if a little bland. I would've gone for beef stroganoff or chicken kiev but didn't want to be stuffed before going back into the saunas. If you are look for a legit sauna experience without the frills, this is your place! I recommend bringing: swimsuit, flip flops, shampoo/conditioner, body lotion, a book, water bottle, a sauna hat if you have one.

It looks like its more tricky to find a place that offers a cold plunge as well and luckily this one does. I will say though I did not expect it to be this pricey basically $50 per session. While you get to stay up to 4 hours I feel id rather pay $50 for 4, 1 hour sessions. I guess however with how packed this place was ( I went on Saturday) the price is not something that is affecting most customers. I enjoyed the experience and did feel great after, If I could do a 30 min session after waking up every day I feel like I would be super productive. Sadly there is no real membership, a 10 visit pass is $350 its great if you can afford it but for now I will have to wait until Saunas become more widespread in the GTA and the competition brings the prices down.

Very large place, mindfully decorated, with different rooms and plenty of resting space, a gym, several dry saunas, heated pools and jacuzzis, a cold plunge, a restaurant with actually really delicious meal options, and an entire upstairs area for massages... a computer room?? And games you can rent out?? I was thoroughly impressed. Unfortunately for me I wish the guests appreciated the space more... in the areas where they request for guests to be mindful of volume... there were too many loud guests... i wish people were more mindful of shared spaces. I noted that a lot of people were on their phones which sort of defeats the purpose of full relaxation. Now for the add ons where you will have to pay a bit extra... The food is so delicious. I have zero complaints... other than the fruit is a bit too expensive. But they have very sizeable portions for meals! Massage therapy was lovely... it started with a sound bowl for relaxation. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep. I went for the lymphatic massage and then it ended up becoming a deep tissue massage with hot rocks.
