I can definitely recommend "By the Lake" as one of the best. My wife and I both go regularly (thank you, company benefits) and we both see different people for different things (she sees Erin for CranioSacral Therapy and I see Alexandra for just a general relaxation massage). My wife says that it definitely helps her with her migraines and I know that I feel very relaxed, loopy and altogether better for at least a couple of days afterwards. So there must be something right going on! Alex always takes time to thoroughly inquire as to my current back and neck woes, tailoring my treatment to whatever ails me at that instant (sore legs from CN Tower climb last visit for instance). She's thorough, professional and very friendly but doesn't chatter all throughout the treatment. I'm happy to chitchat a little, but isn't being relaxed and turning your brain off part of the massage? She's also always offering up great suggestions for aromatherapy and other specific little touches as required...I'd go into more detail but I'm usually quite out of it by the time I'm done, so I don't remember too much. Parking is sort of a hassle (not their fault of course) but manageable. But the place is clean and quiet (despite being in the middle of a busy part of Port Credit) and the prices are very reasonable. Again, it's easy to say that when you've got coverage but I've shopped around. So I'd definitely recommend.
