Within a half a day of calling May, Exterminator Connor McCorckle arrived with his organic chems strapped to his back, assessed the situation and began spraying. The dude was fearless. He got up close and sprayed every crevasse in and around the area the yellow jackets were habitating on and in my house. Connor stated with confidence they would become lethargic by sundown and deceased by morning. Man was he right! The folks at May are locals and know all things about bugs on the mountain. I highly recommend them. They do guarantee their work too!

Efforts by Hatch Pest Solutions to exclude mice and chipmunks from my cabin in the woods appear to…read morebe performative at best. After sending me a message on the phone that they found a number of dead mice and dead chipmunks last week, on the third billed visit, with no mention of exclusions, the VP of Operations, Lisa, now claims that they have sealed up the outside of the house. I haven't confirmed this because it takes two hours to drive up there. On the next visit, they plan to sanitize. My husband now tells me that Hatch employees who came out for the estimate said there's a monthly Hatch customer in the forest nearby. They said they sanitize using Pine Sol. They didn't bother to inspect the space underneath the cabin. I've now had the very unpleasant experience of researching what it actually takes to exclude mice and chipmunks from a pier and beam cabin. Rodent borne pathogens require industrial enzymatic neutralizers, not scented household cleaners. The urine of mice and chipmunks can be detected by other mice and chipmunks from hundreds of yards away, acting as a beacon for proven habitats such as my cabin. Chipmunks are great diggers and have to be excluded using industrial grade steel hardware trenched underground. If exclusions were done correctly, I won't be a monthly customer for Hatch, which is probably really their goal.

Our realtor (one of the most successful realtors on the mountain) uses Adolfo for all her termite inspections so we called him to take care of the dry rot in our 100 year old cabin. These guys have since done an entire deck for me, installed doors and so much more. They are ALL professional, kind and they have made my refresh so much easier and actually fun! Oh and about their prices? Very fair. I have been around the construction business all my life so I know a bit about it. They have always been way more than fair with me. I doubt they need money. They did a door for me a month ago and Adolpho is just now coming by to get a check. I questioned whether I should do this review because now the secret is out. Don't hesitate to hire Adolfo. You won't regret it. I promise.

I have always found him honest, communicative, and dependable with inspections and any work to reach clearance for any wood destroying pests. He is always able to get the inspection done quickly and also any needed work. I just had him repair dry rot wood on a house and deck I am getting ready to list. His crew replaced a lot of wood on the deck and then thoroughly painted the decks, the hand railings, and touched up some of the house to have it look great and ready to list. My clients were very pleased with the work completed, and happy with his price and workmanship. When I find dryrot on my personal home decks, I call Adolfo with Empire Termite, to give me an estimate on fixing the boards. They always do a good job replacing the boards and painting for me. His prices are good and he gets the job done timely. I highly recommend Adolfo with Empire Termite Solutions for your termite inspection, repairs and treatment, for your real estate transactions or for your personal use.
