We made it known that if anything happened to them during installation...we wanted them to be immediately repaired. Alex, wrote that addendum right into the contract on the spot. Some of the other contractors stepped around the issue which was a major problem for us. Thankfully, the crew didn't damage the gutters (that my son and I could detect) and they appear to have made it through the process. The crew arrived early and did a fantastic job. They repaired decking sections that needed (they didn't overlook it and keep going), took care not to trample my wife's plants. It was very windy today but they policed up all the debris to the last nail. The job was precise and looked beautiful. The crew was also very professional and polite. I've never had a business not stand by their estimate. That's why an estimate has a high figure. If you underestimate you eat the difference and be more careful in the future. He did share useful advice on roofing as I had originally planned to do it myself which I now will return to doing. Can not recommend. Edit: Individual called shortly after this post angry over review. I stated we had agreed upon an estimate. He stated that he thought he was using my material which is untrue. I have three tab shingles but prior to him leaving we agreed upon architectural shingles that would match the house. I offered the roofing paper I had purchased. He declined stated he would have his man bring his own. Thus it was quite clear they would be suppying all materials. Standard Roofing also implied I should have known about the cost because of YouTube. Really??? YouTube qualifies one to be a Roofer and Roofing rep? I guess we home owners can save thousands by watching a few 10 minutes videos. One star removed for unprofessional behavior. Definitely can not recommend. The below response by Standard Roofing is simple damage control due to a bad estimate they obviously will not honor. As for materials AGAIN to be clear the individual was quite clear on what was to done and how yet chose not to alter the estimate. As for the mateial you mention step flashing is less than a $1 a piece. This job requires only a few. Your man stated drip protection is not needed as he pointed out Standard Roofing put none on our house. Architectural shingles only cost $44/bundle. So yes I know what it costs and your $3500 quote holds no water besides the cost we home owners see is not the DISCOUNT you get so my adding it up is simply an attempt deflection and yet another untruth by Standard Roofing. Your man made a mistake. You could have easily corrected it by standing by your estimate. Let it go.

Let us know everything we needed asap to stop more water erosion, and didn't pressure us to get any other work done immediately. Well, we bought the house to use the fireplace, so we got everything done, from crown to flu repair. Cameron came on time as scheduled, and not only got everything repaired, but it was finished faster than estimated. They even repointed our bricks as an extra. Cost was what we expected, so while we'd love the work for free, who wouldn't, this was worth it for a safe winter season. Will be calling them for annual cleans, and when we get around to putting in a wood stove.

Our experience: 1)…read more Took us nearly a month just to get any information on payment options because we were told there were "zero interest" options. When we finally heard back they said "oh, there's a finance charge for zero interest" 2) Pushed back the start date by nearly two weeks. When they finally showed up, they just hung out in our driveway for an entire afternoon and said "we'll start tomorrow" 3) Their crews are small and slow. Took a week to finish the siding for a one bedroom, 1100 square foot house. I'd guess it would take 2-3 weeks for a regular sizes home where most crews complete jobs for our sized home in 2 days, tops. 4) Didn't order enough product and had to come back two weeks later to finish it. Didn't cover the unfinished area and it rained a ton -- now hiring a company to come and inspect the work since it definitely will have moisture issues 5) Left a giant dumpster in our driveway for almost two weeks after the main job and cleanup was finished, and for a week after they finally completed the last small part. I called the dumpster company who hadn't heard from them, they were just lazy and irresponsible and left it there. Office manager refused to help me or provide any guidance on when a project would start, how long it would take, and when it would be completed. Barely speaks English so communication is very difficult. Claim to have been in business since 2004 but their site and reviews don't reflect that at all. Would not recommend as we were treated very poorly by these people despite spending $18,000 on siding for a 1100 sq ft house.
