They weighed the cans and they weighed the iron, however they DID NOT weigh the wires, the cast aluminum OR the brass. How did they KNOW how much of those I took in? BY SIGHT!!! WHAT!?!? Immediately I was skeptical when he handed me a payment for my metals I truly felt was low, so I asked for a receipt (since they did not give me one). The ONLY metals on the receipt i was paid for were the cans, the cast aluminum and the iron. My guess is since I had quite a few pounds of each, but not much of the others. When I questioned him about the wires, he said, "You don't have much of those. You're looking at maybe a dollar. I can give you another dollar if you'd like." I told him nevermind as i didnt want to make a scene. But if he was willing to give me a dollar for the wires, why wasn't I paid it initially??? Please believe me when I say this is not about the dollar. This is about honesty which they claim to have. An honest business would have had every item I took in on the receipt. An honest business would have weighed out, individually, every type of metal I took in. They did neither of these my friends. And I'm still wondering how much I should have received for my brass too. In summary, I have absolutely NO TRUST in this business, and I WILL NEVER take my metals to them again. It makes me wonder how many honest people selling their metals to this business have been shorted money they most certainly deserved. I first came by on a Saturday morning and afterwards, we hung out and walked around Bear Branch Park right next door, on the same property (I think). There is an employee who is stationed at the cardboard section (the biggest tin on site) and he's super helpful, especially if you have large pieces you need help with. I brought my 9 ft. Christmas Tree box without breaking it down, and the whole thing fit and was thrown in there. Nice! Keep in mind, there is only one entrance and exit, so please don't block any of the paths to lead to the exit! Also, always be sure to turn left to get out. To the right, will lead you to a dead end.

I was concerned when Farmers Disposal I was so pleased with the service. They allowed up to 5 trash cans, which was really important to us. Then Country Corridor Disposal bought them out and it went badly from the beginning. Very disorganized transfer, billing issues, missed pickups and impossible to get in touch with. This company was very quick to communicate an additional fee, but I learned from the tag on my trash can today they changed the can allowance to two. That does not work for us so I requested a refund for the remainder of the quarter, which of course they won't honor. It is really hard to find decent, honest trash service in this area it seems. When they first started picking up our trash, they specifically told me that their employees did NOT pick up the actual trash can - they said everything should be in bags inside the can and the employees would pick the trash out of there. This rule, according to them, is because of potential back injuries. Their employees recently tore the lid of our trash can and I sent a video of it plus a snapshot to Taylor at Country Corridor. They told me it would cost ME $80 to replace it. They didn't take responsibility for their employee causing the damage to my lid. I asked to have a supervisor call me but of course no one ever did. I have also asked to cancel my service 2 months ahead of our pre-paid time and was told they don't issue refunds unless it is due to a move. This is nothing but a scam to be able to keep a customer's money. A move has absolutely nothing to do with giving a customer a refund due to unsatisfactory service. This place is A LOT higher than the other trash disposal companies out there and they are certainly NOT worth the price. I would never do business with them again and would never recommend them either.
