ThankGod he did NOT do the hard sell tactics (huge turnoff). He just smiled, answered our questions, asked what were we looking for (easy questions). Diamonds sell themselves in my opinion. He helped us find "THE" ring in our price range. Signed, sealed & delivered they purchased "THE" ring. My daughter is still glowing with happiness, me I'm elated as well as my mom. The groom to be is pleased and shocked that he got such a great deal. Everything is setup & displayed in a very organized fashion. I have been to a lot of shops this one is definitely added to my frequent flyer list. They have a good variety of items, jewelry, tv's, video games, guitars & equipment, lawn mowers, snow blowers and many other items.

We took it back today to get resized and the woman was great with measuring my finger to get an accurate ring size. While there, she asked if we wanted the lifetime protection which we opted for. It includes damage, shipping, resizing, etc and because we bought it, our resizing was included. The store is beautiful, clean, and there are lots of goodies everywhere to enjoy while you shop. I also had to use the restroom while there and it smelled bizarrely good and was impeccably clean. Very conveniently located as well, right near eight mile in Novi. This is the second piece of jewelry my husband has bought for me from Tapper's and I'm very impressed!

I brought Diamond Castle my mother's vintage ring; an irreplaceable heirloom with deep sentimental value. I asked for two small stones to be replaced and the band resized. They accepted the job with confidence and never mentioned any concerns about working with a delicate vintage setting. Within just a few days of receiving the ring back, it fell apart completely. The center stone came loose, several prongs failed, and the setting collapsed. This was not due to age or wear. It was the direct result of poor workmanship. What makes this worse is that if Diamond Castle had simply said the work was beyond their capabilities, I would have absolutely accepted that professional judgment. I would have happily kept the ring safely in my jewelry box and treasured it as it was. Instead, they took on a job they clearly weren't equipped for, and now I don't even know if this precious piece can be salvaged. They did refund me for the work, but no refund can repair the damage done to something so personally meaningful. A reputable jeweler should be honest about their limitations especially when handling sentimental or vintage jewelry. I strongly caution anyone considering trusting Diamond Castle with important or irreplaceable pieces. Transparency, skill, and care matter and unfortunately, my experience showed a lack of all three.
