This is the second time I have used C & J; the first time we had them unload our trailers. Three years later they have packed us all up and reloaded the trailers. They are amazing at what they do!!! They have another big asset - compassion. It is difficult for a senior to leave their home and move to assisted living or a nursing home. Chuck and crew were amazing! I have utilized other movers a few times before but none came close to these four guys. They worked hard for 8 hours moving us from Minneapolis to Stanchfield. They were extremely respectful, organized, and treated our items with care. After they left I went into the garage to find they had even organized the tubs we had moved and plugged in the fridge and freezer. It was the least stressful move of my life. My grandparents used this company today and were so happy with their services! They were on time and packed up the whole house and had everything delivered within 3 hours. Everyone introduced themselves and they were careful with everything. They are professional and efficient and we definately recommend. They brought everything in to the new place and asked where they wanted it. They wrapped everything up and packed properly. If you want movers who care I'd call these guys. This was, by far, the most positive moving experience I have had... EVER!! Janet, Scott, Monty, T.J. and Brianna were all polite, professional, friendly and courteous. Seriously! They arrived exactly when they said they would and worked hard and carefully while packing up our house. After 30 years, we have accumulated "stuff" and, as usual, underestimated how much "stuff" we had but they patiently helped us sort and pack up our treasures. I used C & J Relocators in 2008 when I moved from a house to an apartment. I am a senior on a fixed income and Chuck moved people on the side because he already had a fulltime job. He was reasonably priced and did a great job. He took some extra stuff to storage, he and his wife even helped me pack. Even though they were very careful and professional the mirror on my curio cabinet broke and they promptly replaced. When my current rent increased to the point that I had to move, I again called C & J Relocators which has now become his fulltime business. It grieves me to report that they did a better job when it was a part-time business. As I was packing which I had started months in advance, I was concerned I would not get done in time. I made several calls and left messages but no one returned my calls. I stated my questions in my messages and he did finally return my call, he left me a message but did not answer my questions. So, when they showed up, right at the time they said, I again expressed my concern that I was not done packing to which Chuck replied "don't worry about it, what you don't get, we will take care of." However, when it came to actually helping me pack this time around, he expressed his displeasure that I was not completely done packing. When we were finally done and moving into my new apartment, Chuck again expressed his irritation that it was so taking so long and he kept hurrying his workers. As a result boxes clearly marked where just set anywhere, boxes marked under bed were in closet, the boxes that were put under the bed (that were not even supposed to be under the bed) were stacked on top of the leaf for the table so the bed as sitting on top of them making them so that neither me nor my daughter could even budge them. There was a extra bracket for the bed that was just thrown under the bed. Something got set on my toaster oven and caved it in. A large picture that was painted by my Dad was all scuffed up on the side. I understand things happen, but when I called them to report my displeasure with items under bed which were too tight, I was told to have someone here at the building help me or they would come out at a "minimal charge," and the reply I got for the damaged items was "I don't know what to tell you, they were all wrapped.
