This is the first review that I have ever left anyone, ever. Let that be a testament to how…read morehorrible my experience was working with Bryan. We put down a 5k deposit down in January to secure a countertop for installation no later than April first. To our surprise, he mentioned that we would need to hire a crane at our expense for a single flight of stairs. I do not recommend looking through his lot unless you are trying to match the shag carpet you just acquired in your recent purchase of a 1970s home on Zillow Gone Wild. There is a reason why the locals shop elsewhere. When April 1 rolled around, I called wondering why he hadn't started. He said that he was going to Bali instead. He said that he had already told me about his Bali trip. There would be 0 reasons for him to mention this because he assured me the project would be completed by April 1. He told me that he would "try" to have it completed by the 4th of July upon his return. We were still not 100 percent sold on our choice of "Zillow Gone Wild" granite, so we decided to visit his store again. This time we found something that we liked. I called him and asked if we could use it instead. He quoted us 100 per square foot, which was 35 cheaper than the previous granite quote. Upon his return from Bali, he called us immediately and mentioned he wanted to get new measurements since it had been such a long time since his last visit. He finally arrived at our house in mid-June. He knocked on the basement door 5 hours later than anticipated. I had to organize a couple of things before I was able to address him because my wife was breastfeeding in our living room. I walked out my front door, down towards the basement, and to my surprise, he was already in my house! When my wife heard the door open, she scattered into the back bedroom. When I walked back in, he was already standing in the middle of my living room! He had just let himself in! I was quite frustrated with this random dude in my house who was full of empty promises from the beginning. I let him take the measurements, purposefully avoiding the friendly conversations of our first visit because in January, he actually invited my wife over to take a steam shower at his house. I asked him for another quote, and he said that the quartzite was now going to be $120 a square. It would be $10,500 in total, and I would still need to hire a crane on top of it all! In my most conservative measurements, I couldn't come up more than 80 feet in total for my kitchen. 80x120 is 9,600. At this point, I had begun to shop around and found another company with the exact same quartzite for 85 a square. They gave me a 7,500 quote maximum. They also informed me that hiring a crane for a single flight of stairs was not something that they would entertain. They also assured me that they could get the project finished in no more than 2 months. At this point, I really didn't feel like waiting another 2 months, so I asked Bryan again if he would honor his 100 per square original offer even though he was still way more expensive than the competition. I didn't care, I just wanted the project that we started in January completed. He said, "Nope," and then he sent me my deposit back! He just held my check for 6 months and failed to deliver on any of his promises! I am actually kind of shocked that his check didn't bounce. If you have made it this far through my review, please do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. When we found the company that the locals use, they had 20 slabs that we liked. Instead of trying to settle on something distasteful, we still had a difficult decision to make because they had so many beautiful slabs to choose from. They also had 5 people actively working instead of being greeted by a note on the door saying, "Call Bryan if you need help." Bryan's company was such a nightmare that it encouraged me to write the first review of my life. It sucks that I had to waste time in my day to write this, but I hope it saves at least one person the burden of dealing with this mess.
