After, the project manager brought over several paint samples in an attempt to match the color of the trim. The worker was very industrious, put in long days and made sure I was happy with everything as he went along. There was a meeting with the estimator when the work was done. I noticed one corner that didn't appear to be finished. The project manager made sure that corner was fixed and another corner I had not noticed, but he felt was good enough. Everyone, including the office help, were courteous, pleasant, helpful and truly wanted me to be completely happy with the end result.

They installed jacks, beams and sistered cracked joist. they also let us know that part of the problem was the high humidity in our Crawlspace so they encapsulated the entire Crawlspace and installed two dehumidifiers. They did great follow up and after a lot of work seem to have stopped the problems from getting worse, which is all we could ask. Every crew they sent was incredible - professional, friendly, hard working and efficient. All the crew leaders let us know exactly what they were doing and Adian even found and fixed issues with our HVAC ducts and registers that we didn't know about. it took a long time and, to be honest, was not cheap, but Bay does great work and follow up. we would use them again.

Quotes us for the work that was actually needed and explained why. Bay's quote was $18,000 less than the other two companies quotes. Please note that we went with Bay and the work they have done is excellent. I have been in my house for 10 years and I have never seen the pump work so good. Everyone gave us excellent customer services. The sales person was very thorough with his inspection and quote. The onsite manager and workers gave a timeline and was finished early. They also made sure that all areas where very clean. The office customer services made sure we where updated on scheduling. We were told that we would be provided with a choice of stains but we had to remind the contractor weeks after our meeting that he hadn't provided any information on the subject. We were informed that the areas would need to be pressure washed before being stained and that the cost would be between $400 and $500. When we received the proposal it mentioned that the cleaning would be provided by a company that MP painting approved. It took several weeks and many contacts to get a date for the job to be done. The pressure washing was done really well. No complaints there. The evening after we informed MP that the cleaning was completed we received a text informing us that the staining would start at 8am the next day. So less than 12 hours notice and therefore all plans for the next day had to be canceled. One worker arrived and began staining with a can of stain we provided. Shortly after 9 the owner arrived with 2 cans of an incorrect color and tried to convince my husband that the color was correct. After going back to the store to get the proper color and without anyone approving they started the deck staining by hacking away the landscaping behind the deck. We were never informed of the need to remove any of the greenery around the deck. The crew didn't realize that I was watching them on a security camera. After I discovered that they were cutting away an heirloom grapevine I rushed to a window and tried to stop them. I kept yelling no at them through the window. The crewman barked do you want the staining done? I told them to stop cutting and he barked out "it will grow back". (I have to admit that after that disrespectful response I lost it and cursed them out). Their response wasn't what a client should hear after a major portion of my grape harvest had been destroyed. At 11am we received an invoice from the pressure washer company and were informed that it wasn't going to paid for through the proposal total. The owner after weeks of being contacted by both of us by text began invoicing the cell number he mistakenly thought was my husbands number moments after the job was "finished". It was actually my phone. After being hounded by text for 3.5 hours I replied that we would inspect the job and get back to him. At that point he began texting the person that he thought was my husband about how all his trouble getting his money was "your wife's" fault. I texted back and informed him of his mistake and that he would be paid after we were able to get onto the deck to check the work. MP freaked out. He must have really needed the cash. The next morning I awoke to a threat of a mechanics lean. I've paid both bills one, the pressure washer, because their work was great and one because we were threatened. I have dozens of pictures of areas that were never stained. It will take hours for us as a couple of senior citizens to complete the process that MP was hired for. Most of the areas are under the deck railings. Maybe MP should buy a mirror to see where they should stain and don't. Maybe they didn't do the job correctly out of just laziness but they definitely showed a lack of respect for our property and wishes right from the start.

Throughout the six week process of picking out materials, ordering them, and install, Gerald (manager) and Jimmy (owner) were fantastic! In fact, they were so hands on, that the owner even did the majority of install himself. But what really stuck out to us, was when they ran into more damage to the subfloor than anticipated, they did not take that as an opportunity to charge us more, and instead stuck to the original estimate, despite the extra labor. They also were flexible and happily agreed to a few minor cosmetic changes that I suggested during install. The project was done perfectly, and exactly on time. We will definitely use them again for our next project!

My mother is a widow over 70 and she contracted with Bancroft Granite & Marble to do a $15,000…read morerenovation in my home. She was notified that the work was complete but when she arrived to look at it, there was building scraps and trash everywhere incluiding pieces of cut trim, stove wrapping, tools, etc. There was dirt everywhere and none of the new counters had even been wiped. They had failed to obtain the proper electrical permits to do the work. I paid $1600.00 for a custom built storage island which appeared to be pre-manufactured made from particle board --certainly not a custom built piece. They failed to install quarter round on the newly tiled floor leaving a visbable gap between the tiles and the baseboards. They installed a shelving unit but the wood did not quite fit to cover the area. When she asked habout this, she was told that they used scrap wood and that was all he had. When she notified Jim of her concerns, he cursed her and my brother out and said he was finished. She contracted with Jim in Match of 2017. He was contacted and requested to complete and finalize the job. She has not heard anything from him since May 2017. The work remains incomplete as of July 2017. I absolutely do NOT recommend using this company for any renovation or work. My mother was looking forward to moving back into her home after being away for several years. She is still unable to use the kitchen and move into her house. This company does not stand by their work; does not do a quality job; is not concerned with customer service or satisfaction.
