Some places, this is a pointless appointment, as you still have to wait for quite some time. NOPE. We were seen and serviced immediately upon arrival of our scheduled time slot. Countryside staff is friendly and they don't try to awkwardly upsell you and tell you that your vehicle is on the brink of exploding if you don't get 348239584 repairs done TODAY. Affordability, timeliness, and integrity will bring us back for all of our car needs. It helps that they charge a fair price for an oil change and filled and rotated the tires. They stuck to the appointment time which is rare in automotive. A couple of downsides, tire hazard warranty is $27/wheel. it's $12/wheel at Walmart. The up-sell is relentless. I don't need a fluid check/safety inspection when the car is just one year old. I had to remind them twice to skip this time wasting exercise.

On 05/06/25 I had an appointment to have 4 tires put on. I…read moreasked that no other services or inspections be done. I was denied the discount price advertised and denied my military discount. An hour and a half after my appointment a sleazy mechanic said he could not get the lug nuts off and tried to get me to buy 24 lug nuts for 186 dollars. I found the lug nuts online for 36 dollars at the local Autozone. The mechanic had damaged several of my lug nuts. They never did mount the tires. I bought the tires I had ordered and took them to a tire shop down the road and had them installed. The shop manager at the second shop reported he had no problems get the lug nuts off and that new lug nuts were not needed. I did go ahead and replace all the lug nuts because Firestone had damaged several of them. The cost to replace the lug nuts, all 24, was 29 dollars. Firestone had tried to rip me off for over 150 dollars. I believe this was an attempt to financially exploit me because I am a senior. My issue is I am sure I am not the only one they have ripped off or will rip off. They are stealing money from the elderly population who uses their services. I was contacted by the area manager on 6/11/2025. He defended the Oakridge Firestone store for their criminal activity. I have asked that my complaint be escalated. I was offered a low-end settlement to shut me up basically. I turned down the offer. This store is ripping customers off and damaging vehicles. This has to be stopped so I have made the necessary contacts to have this store investigated at the state and federal level. I believed that they attempted to commit financial exploitation of an elderly customer and that this has been ongoing for years and needs to be addressed.

I always look for quality work at a reasonable price. I believe I have always gotten that at Sexton Auto so I continue to bring my car here as I can depend on receiving a fair estimate on good work. In all these years, I have never had to bring my vehicle back for rework. In fact, if the work requires extensive time to repair, they offer a loaner vehicle. Can't believe that after the fact they tried to bleed us dry with some petty yet expensive charge. Also they seemed in no hurry at all to get to my vehicle which was pretty minor body work. It was supposed to be fixed and they said that I now had a timing chain issue because they saw a chunk of the guide in the oil pan. Quoted $2500 to fix that. I got a second opinion. My brakes needed to be redone because they didn't grease the pin on drivers side, the oil pan gasket wasn't sealed correctly and my timing chain is not broken. I did have a transmission leak. It has all been fixed!!!!! For less than $600. We will not be going back there.

They are extremely knowledgable about what they do, and it's not just oil changes! I recently had the starter go out on my car. Where most shops wanted to charge me an arm and a leg, and showed little interest in coming to the car, Daniel not only came to where I was, but jump started my car so I could drive it to his shop, replaced the starter, and had me running smooth in no time. First off, I wanted to state that I really thought about not leaving a review just because its not…read moreusually who I am. I really wanted to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. I work in the customer service field and I know how hard a job like this can be. But after some time to think about this I decided to leave a review due to the nature of the similar experienced I had when looking at the other reviews here. This is not a good shop. To provide some insight, I had a flat tire happen over the weekend and so on Monday morning I arrived right at the time of the store opening at 8 am looking to replace all of my tires since I have an AWD car. There was only one man behind the counter and what it looked like only a handful of people in the shop. I was told that they would take car of the replacement, free oil change and alignment and that they would have it back out as soon as possible. Right away I could tell that they were short staffed because of how busy the guy behind the counter looked. Long story short, I sat in the lobby for almost 5 hours for the replacement, I didn't leave the shop until 145pm. At no time did anyone tell me or update me as to what was going on with my car. I could only hear the guy behind the counter tell other customers that he was short staffed and that they were behind and that they were requesting people drop off their car with hopes that it would be done by the end of the day. Additionally, there were multiple people in the bays that were just "hanging out" and smoking vapes from what it looked like. Once again, no one disclosed a wait time to me as I sat in the lobby for hours on end. I get it. It gets busy and shops everywhere are short staffed. That is not the reason why I decided to leave this review. When I finally got my keys I was told everything was good and I was on my way. Immediately when driving from the shop I noticed that my alignment was off. At highway speeds I would have a terrible vibration in my steering wheel and my car was pulling to the left so I decided to check my tires at work and found multiple issues in addition to my alignment. My tire pressure was over inflated to 40 PSI when my car is only supposed to have 32, I was missing valve stem caps and my spare tire was lazily just thrown in my trunk with the hardware just thrown on top rattling around in the back as I drove away. When returning later that week to have them fix all of the issues, I got no apology what so ever. No acknowledgement that they screwed up and I only got more frustrated that I had to wait an additional 3 hours in the lobby for them to correct the issue that they should have fixed in the first place. At the counter I asked the guy if the alignment was actually off and he stated "Yes, we had an issue in bay three on that day you were here and had other people come back." If this was the case, don't you think it would have been best to reach out to the people you serviced that day and let them know? All in all. It took a total of 8 hours to replace 4 tires. No communication was given to me and the professionalism was SUPER lacking in how my stuff was treated. I would not recommend this store to anyone.
